Great location but would benefit from A/C

  • 3 of 5

When we got there just after noon, there was no key holder with the key, but 10 minutes later a guy came to do the rest of the cleaning and asked us to wait 30 minutes until he was done. The unit was nice and well-appointed. Location fabulous. The bed was fine. My wife said the place could have been cleaned better and would have benefited from washing floors. Security seemed excellent. Because it's next to the Seine, there was a lot of street noise, including at night, so being able to close the windows and turn on the AC would have really helped. All in all, I was pleased.

Wonderful location for Paris

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed at this studio apartment in Paris. We had booked online and wondered why there were only 4 reviews. Don't let that concern you. We had a wonderful time. Exactly as pictured on the website. We called Aaron on arrival to confirm we were in the apartment and so he could answer any questions. Then the next day we received a call from Krystyna to check we were ok and if we needed anything. The customer service is fantastic. We loved the location. We could easily walk to the Louvre in 20 minutes. We took the L'Open bus for 2 days and it was a quick walk up to the main pickup point. We were happy to have the very handy book that is in the apartment telling us how to find local grocery stores. The book also told us how to call a taxi on a dedicated English speaking line which was much appreciated and worked perfectly for an early morning cab to Gare St. Lazare for a Normandy day trip. Overall, the location was perfect; the apartment was very clean and well furnished and we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this location for any couple looking for a real Parisian feel in a safe and comfortable environment.

A Room with a View

  • 5 of 5

For our first trip to Paris, the studio apartment could not have been better. It is centrally located, well appointed, with a comfortable king-size bed, and best of all, there is an elevator! Watching the people, the boats, the street vendors, the trees in bloom and, of course, the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral from our windows made the stay postcard perfect. The kitchen is quite adequate as is the bathroom. The studio actually felt spacious and provided plenty of storage for clothes and the requisite gifts and souvenirs. Windows blocked the street noise at night and the closed drapes darkened the otherwise light and airy Room with a View!!!

comfortable and central

  • 5 of 5

For us, bed comfort is paramount, and I am pleased to report that the bed, two latex twins to form a king, was wonderful. Also important is a good location, and needless to say, this place is central to everything -- transport, markets, walkable to practically all the major sights, not to mention Notre Dame. Elevator is the usual small version, but accommodated us and our luggage. Adequate kitchenware and plates/cups. Washer/dryer easy to use. We were in Paris during a cold snap, with nighttime temps in mid-20s F, and heating was more than adequate. Noise insulation was good with double paned windows. In the summer, with windows open, traffic/street noise would be increased, and it's a road busy with traffic/pedestrians. Notre Dame's bells were nice to hear and not intrusive. Good water pressure/shower. Bathtub slightly tricky to get in/out due to it being a deep tub. Very easy to book, and on-site welcome friendly and punctual. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.

Fantastic Value

  • 5 of 5

Highlights: 1. The location was wonderful; easy access to trains, walking distance to all of downtown, across the street from the batobus (boat taxi) and great neighborhoods. 2. Marvelous view; open the windows and see the Seine River, enjoy the view of Notre Dame, watch the street performers on the bridge and in the plaza, and enjoy the lights of the Palace of Justice. 3. Clean; the place is well kept and the manager and owners are attentive. 4. Very comfortable; it is not a large space, but it is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. One caution: on some nights the street noise can persist pretty late. However, the neighbors in the building were very quiet. This was a great value for the cost and I give it my highest recommendation.

Great location, nice studio, great service

  • 4 of 5

Description of the studio is as accurate as you can get, CLOSE TO ALMOST EVERYTHING. Property was cleaned and well mantained. The owners (Steven and Veronica) were always in communication with me. Also the coordinator Krystyna was always available and did check on us while there. Aaron was at the studio to greet us, provide the keys as well as to go over all the features of the apartment and answer any last minute questions. I will recommend this apartment to any couples it is just steps from Notre Dame. Also within a 20 to 25 minute walk you are at the Pantheon, La Bastille, Pompidou, Lourve, Orsay, L'Orangerie, Luxemburg Gardens and many more. Metro and RER stations are just 200 meters away. There are shops, markets and any restaurant you can think of. This was our first visit to Paris and we felt like Parisians due to the studio location. The studio was close to perfect, the only issues, if you can call them issues, were bathtub is extremely high so if you have back or knee problems it will be an issue to get in and out, apartment can be little bit noisy but after two days I got used to it and was not and issue, and the washer dryer was extremely complicated to work with. My wife and I loved this place and love everything of our stay. Thanks to Steven, Veronica, Krystyna and Aaron for making this experience and unforgettable one for us. Will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises and based on their customer service on any other of their properties in the area.
