The family cabin was a great place to stay. It lived up to everything we expected from the pictures and description, full of history and character. It's probably the best equipped rental we've ever stayed in as well - we used the grill a couple times, borrowed the guest cooler for road trips, cooked with a few of the spices available, etc. It has all the little things you might need that make life easier when you're away from home.The location was ideal as we headed west into Zion a couple times as well as NE to Bryce Canyon and SE to Kanab and the Grand Canyon. The area itself was really quiet which was ideal for settling in after busy days. We'd certainly look to stay here again if we return to the area.

What a wonderful home and location to base your travels. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed roaming the property. We loved it! Communication was first class. Highly recommend for your Southern Utah visit!

Great cabin and perfect central location for Zion, Bryce, Kanab, and Cedar Breaks. The cabin and grounds are stunning. We saw wild turkeys and deer in the morning, while we sipped our coffee on the shaded porch looking at the beautiful painted mountains directly across the road. We had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay and our host was super responsive when we had questions. The kitchen has every appliance needed, and the rooms and beds are clean, comfortable and spacious. We shopped at the local grocery store and visited slot canyons via ROAM outdoor adventures right in Orderville, both a five-minute drive from the cabin. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again when we visit Southern Utah.

The cabin at Mt Carmel is an older property, but it was clean and well equipped with all the necessary towels, linens and kitchen items you need. We loved the huge property it’s on. Plenty for our pup to explore everyday. Star gazing was excellent by the fire pit every night. Perfect location for visiting the parks-so much to see! We had a fantastic time!

We appreciated all the space and location. We traveled to Zion multiple days and Bryce Canyon. We used the fire pit every night and enjoyed the stars. Cabin had ample space and was well-stocked. Definitely recommend if you want a more private, relaxing vacation to Utah.

We stayed here while visiting Zion and loved the house. It was in a very quiet area and dark enough for incredible star gazing. We would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect place between Zion and Bryce. The host was one of the most responsive and friendly hosts I’ve ever encountered with VRBOs and the amenities were great. We would stay here again in a second.

EVERYTHING was awesome!! Communication was very timely, well appointed with everything you could ask for in every room. Views are spectacular, quiet at night and located right between Zion and Bryce (which are spectacular too). Our 2 pooches had a great time in the fresh air. Thank you Marlene for everything!

It's an amazing place with lots of room to spread out. The house itself is also very secluded and you really feel like you're on a vacation. The location was perfect for seeing multiple places of interest. The property owners are fantastic and very helpful.

Nice rustic cabin with plenty of room for a stay to explore the area. The host was wonderful and very attentive. Great suggestions for places to visit and eat … very cozy.

We had a great stay! Our host checked in with us several times to make sure we had what we needed. It was a great to have space for our family to relax and enjoy the quiet. We loved having the outdoor space to spend the evenings after the days exploring the parks.

Great Stay

Very nice area. Beautiful windows & decks to check out the views. House is clean, comfy & convenient to parks but be ready for long drives.Fun to watch hummingbirds & deer.

We are a small family of five: Dad Carlos, Mom Marlene, daughter, son, and our precious Sophie-a twelve-year-old Springer Spaniel. We have lived on the coast of southern California for 29 years. Carlos serves as the principal for a local high school and Marlene works for the University of California. Our son and daughter love the outdoors, especially hiking, rock climbing, and scuba diving. Sophie is in charge of keeping us smiling and makes sure to keep the family healthy by taking us on walks. Our family works hard, has ups and downs, and strives to celebrate and enjoy life. We feel truly grateful for the everyday blessings and miracles in our lives.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We have visited Utah at least three times a year. We love the area and the people are very friendly. We are so excited to have been able to make this area a permanent part of our lives. After 24 years we still find this area magical and we discover something new each time we are there.
We are very lucky to be the second owners of this cabin. The previous owners were Omer and Anita Mullen. The Mullen's first started with a small one-bedroom cabin but with time they added to their cabin until they made it into a full three-bedroom plus one open loft bedroom/rec room home. The cabin has a peculiar layout that allows for privacy and also has an eclectic feel. For example one of the rooms is an actual room from the old Zion lodging. Parts of the room and door were purchased when the Zion lodge was remodeled many years ago. We look forward to restoring the home to a full cabin experience and at the same time honoring the hard work, eclectic style, and love that the Mullen's put into their home.

We love this location because it is right at the heart of Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon. The night skies, red cliffs, inspiring hikes, tranquility of the area, and spectacular sunrises are a true gift to the senses and this can be experienced without leaving the cabin...a home away from home.
