Cozy Pet Friendly Cabin! - 2 blocks from Bear Mountain in Southern California

(Please note we received some feedback that our check in company is charging a huge fee for pet issues, we apologize and are correcting this. Pets of course are allowed on furniture, we have two dogs ourselves and we have rented to guests with pets for years and never once charged anyone a fine)

Cozy cabin in the woods on Bear mountain just 2 blocks to skiing or mountain biking. Walk to the hill and ski down. Also close to hiking trails. Large deck with grill and nice outdoor space. Private location and a large deck. Cabin has beautiful stone fireplace, log beds, Netflix tv and high speed wifi. Sleeps 4 adults and extra young children are ok. Master bedroom has double bed, second bedroom has double bunkbed, sofa bed also available in living room. Bathroom is through the master. Great little cabin for a family trip to Big Bear. Short drive to lake and downtown. Pets are considered upon request. Hi Jonathan. We had a great week in Big Bear. I knew that Cabins in Big Bear would be rustic. Yours was rustic but comfortable. Really the only issues we had were the front screen door which never closed without some muscle. The other was the bed in the master. It was a double bed with some kind of mattress. I think it was supposed to be a queen bed. Very very uncomfortable.

My family and I stayed for three nights and it was a pleasant stay. The cabin is in a nice area, and not far from anything. It has everything you’ll need. The check in process was somewhat good, but if you plan on choosing this place then keep in mind that you’ll have to go to an office in town to receive the code to the cabin. This was something new for us, so it was an inconvenience since other places that we’ve stayed at before did not require this. Besides that, it’s a clean and comfortable stay.

What a great getaway! Love the location, cabin was clean and cozy, and the host was quick to respond with a question when I told him I couldn't arrive until after regular hours. My kids and I had a great time, thank you! We will definitely be coming again!

The cabin is in a great scenic area of big bear. Super cozy and exactly what we wanted when looking for a cute getaway in the mountains! Will definitely book again.

Very cute cabin with everything we needed and everything was clean. Loved the layout and how cozy it felt. The back porch was even fenced off so my dog could go out there. It was within walking distance to Big Bear Mountain (about a 13 minute walk) which made snowboarding early very easy. We did have a problem with no hot water coming from the shower, but the owner was immediately responsive and had someone come out to fix it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and very dog friendly.

We had a great time. Cabin was located a little away from the city, so it was very quiet, private and relaxing. Cabin was well furnished and we had everything we needed.

Such a cozy stay! Jonathan was an amazing host super communicative and helpful. The cabin was adorable, quiet, and in a perfect walking distance to Big Bear Mountain. If you’re looking for the full cabin experience, I definitely recommend this spot. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Darn I am very sorry to hear that, I usually sleep like a log when I am up and I was just there to snowboard recently. I haven't heard from any other renters but I'll take another look and see if the mattress needs replacing. I hope the rest of your stay was better.

My wife and our family are Canadians living in San Diego and we bought this little place to have somewhere to go with the family to get away from the city and experience a bit of winter fun like skiing and sledding. We love heading up to Big Bear whenever we have a free weekend, its a great place to visit year round and has a lot of beautiful scenery and things to do.

The place is an easy walk to Bear Mountain for anyone wanting to ski, you can go back and forth or go home for lunch and it is convenient with small children. There is also a lot of mountain biking in the area during the summer months. The deck has a great view of the trees and is a relaxing place to kick back and relax.
