I booked this cabin for my boyfriends family reunion. His family lives in S Africa and so it was small, just 7 of us total. It had everything we needed in terms of space and in the kitchen. The master bed was so cute, esp the bathroom. When we arrived, the fireplace was in to warm the house, though it quickly got unbearably hot and the remote to shut it off was broken. But I called the maintenance line and they told me how to do it manually.
Then we wanted to have dinner and realized there were only 4 chairs, which was unfortunate as the photo showed 6. We ended up having to use the bar stools which were much too high for the other 3 people.
Later that night we went in the hot tub, which was also running for us so it was at a great temperature when it got dark and we were ready for it. However, when we actually wanted to use it the fuse kept tripping 1 sec after turning the jets on, which made it so the water was warm, but the lights and motor didn't work. Not as great. Also, that never fixed the whole weekend. We called maintenance the next day, as they were closed at night, and they said it would need a part and they never came back to replace it. So that was a bummer. As truly, one of the things in our search criteria was a hot tub, it was a huge deal to us not to have one.
But we did get to bring our dog. Which was so great. I'd say the highlights of the house was the kitchen and the living room. The living area was so cozy and just enough room for us. I think this cabin is better for a smaller group or if you have kids. As my boyfriend and I stayed in the room with the bunk beds, and even with the full bed on the bottom, it is not recommended for adults. Also, not comfortable.
