The tower is a unique structure. For a one night stay, for a young, lithe couple it could be a fun experience. The area the tower is located in is pretty, quiet area, yet close to Sister Bay and an abundance of hiking trails. The view of the fall colors and the lake is lovely. The rental managing company is very quick to respond to problems. However, the property comes with some things renters should consider. Although the listing indicates the three floors, it in no way depicts the difficulties of more than a one night stay. The entry step is a large stone which is a bit precarious when carrying items. The stairs are so narrow it makes it hard to carry suitcases up a flight or groceries up two flights. Add in the wobbling in a couple of the stairs and you have a definite concern. The listing is for four people but it's hard to imagine how that might work. There is very little storage space, certainly not enough for four occupants. The hide-a-bed on the first floor does have access to a half bath, but might not be a safe space for a child. Four adults sharing the main bath would be a challenge for even the closest of friends. The master half bathroom is very small. The shower which is located across the room from the half bath is tiny. We are both thin people, and had difficulty maneuvering in it. There are no towel hooks or a towel bar near the shower. The towel bar is across the bedroom in the stair alcove. As others have mentioned, the top floor gets very warm.
