Charming villa 1800 nearby the Convent "La Scarzuola", built with local stone recuperating the hand made terracotta, stones, massive oak beams situated in the heart of the artistic Umbria at the border of Tuscany (easily reachable: Siena, Montepulciano, Città della Pieve, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, the Perugino’s streets, wines streets, famous thermal waters and many other well known sites). An oasis of tranquillity, privacy and of absolute peace suitable to those appreciating not only a complete relax but also nice tours in the most enchanting hamlets of central Italy. Indoor 2 floors for 280 sq. mt. + 140 sq. mt. outdoor looking into well kept and in bloom gardens. It’s situated in a park with a wide swimming pool (15x7) surrounded by a comfortable area for sunbathing and within a private hamlet duly fenced with 2 other farmhouses. Splendida vacanza !

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questa meravigliosa oasi di relax, lontani dagli stress cittadini, nel più completo confort. L'atmosfera del casale è veramente coinvolgente, l'arredo antico lo rende unico nel suo genere. La cortesia e la disponibilità della Sig.a Emily ci hanno fatto sentire 'di casa'! Il tutto accompagnato da splendidi bagni nella grande piscina e da divertenti partite a Ping pong. ASSOLUTAMENTE CONSIGLIATO!

La Dolce Vita en Ombrie

Tout d’abord merci à Émilie (une des copropriétaires) pour son accueil, sa discrétion et ses conseils en français (restos, sites à visiter, conseils et ses talents musicaux!) C’était un plaisir de se retrouver certains matins à la piscine pour discuter ou lors de notre soirée « musicale ». Belle propriété isolée composée de 3 maisons pour passer de bonnes vacances reposantes en famille, au milieu des collines ombriennes. Pour nos 3 semaines de vacances à 4 (+ 1 invité), nous avons bénéficié d’un « surclassement » dans la maison la plus ancienne "Il Casale Grande » où chacun a pu disposer de sa chambre : maison rustique, spacieuse et bien équipée mais un peu sombre contrairement à la maison Il Casaletto plus récente et lumineuse. À disposition dans l’un des salons, une chaîne avec une remarquable collection de bons CD pour passer des soirées en musique et danser. L’accès à Internet n’est pas toujours maintenu. Au programme : - farniente au bord de la piscine, remarquable (15 m) par sa taille permettant de vraiment nager et toujours impeccablement propre - visites des villes et de ses environs : Spolète, Assise, Pérouse, Lac de Trasimène, Orviéto (1/2h par l’A1), la Scarzuola (10’)… Compter minimum 1h30 de voiture pour s'y rendre en privilégiant l’autoroute quand c’est possible. - vélo et promenades à pied dans les collines ombriennes (très jolie ballade depuis la maison). - Umbria Jazz à Pérouse un soir Attention accès à la propriété par des chemins non goudronnés. Pour les adeptes de vélos : les VTT s’imposent mais surtout il faut avoir de bons mollets et un bon coup de pédale pour revenir à la propriété!

We, 5 people, spent a wonderful week of our holidays at the very quiet place "charming hills". Altough the owners Alessandra and Emily are living at the same area, they were reluctant, friendly and very helpful. They gave us good tips for sightseeing in Umbria and Toscany. We booked the generous equipped house with two bathrooms. Due to the size of the house each family member had a plenty of retreat possibilities. We appreciated the large and well equipped kitchen including a big baking oven. This comforted us about the lack of Barbecue. The house has a screened terrace to give us enough privacy. Next to the well located swimming pool was the table-tennis and a gazebo where we recieved UMTS. Around the pool and on the property, there are plenty of shade trees so that it is pleasant even at high temperatures. Charming Hills is a good recommendation for a relaxing holiday in Umbria and we would be glad to come back again once a time.

"Maison spacieuse, tout confort, convient pour 8 personnes, possibilité de loger 2 personnes extra dans le divan-lit du salon. Pièces du séjour grandes et conviviales décorés avec beaucoup de goût, cuisine bien équipée,chambres soignées et propres , La piscine est bien exposée et toujours impeccablement nettoyée .....la description correspond à la réalité. Endroit très calme et reposant. L''accueil chaleureux des propiétaires (qui habitent une des maisons du hameau, discrets mais disponibles pour tout renseignements concernant la région) à contribué à l''agréable séjour que nous avons passés en Umbria. "

"Vacanza molto gradevole, villa perfetta sotto ogni profilo, grande, molto curata, ben arredata e decorata. Parco ben tenuto, piscina molto pulita, grande e circondata da ampio spazio per relax e gioco. Belle le vedute dalle colline, silenzio rilassantissimo, incredibili le nottate di stelle. Proprietari di nobili origini molto cordiali, simpatici e particolarmente attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti. Da raccomandare senza dubbio."

"Très belle maison ancienne, très spacieuse et meublée avec goût. Tout est beau et spécialement la grande cuisine. Grande piscine dans un grand jardin. Alessandra est très accueillante et nous a bien conseillé au niveau des visites de cette magnifique région. La maison est dans un site bucolique vraiment très tranquille, un peu en hauteur dans cette région chaude, tout en étant assez proche de l'autoroute Milan-Rome. Nous recommandons cette location aux familles et personnes recherchant la tranquillité et la beauté telle qu'on l'imagine en Italie."

"Everything was perfect and superior to our expectations. The landlord was always available, pleasant and able to address all our questions and requests timely. We could have very discreet conversations on different themes. The villa is simply in an amazing or better "charming" position. A little isolated but perfect for our needs. I would definitely go back there and recommend it to friends, family and colleagues."
