On the outskirts of the town, 4 km from all shops and amenities, 17 km from the beaches, our wine estate offers you this beautiful property.
In a wooded and flowery setting, this old air-conditioned winegrower's house with great comfort has been carefully restored. All the rooms open onto the vineyard and at the back the living room has a direct access to the private terrace of 70 m° with garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue where you can have your meals, relax and on the shady enclosed garden with children's playground.
Ground floor: living room (Wifi, TV, DVD player, MP3 radio) access to the terrace; kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove).
FIRST FLOOR: a bedroom with 1 bed in 140 and 1 bed in 90, a bedroom with 1 bed in 160, shower room and independent WC. Baby equipment available. Options sheets, towels, cleaning on departure on request.

During a visit of the vineyard and the wine storehouse, we will make you discover the history of this family domain since several generations and will make you share our passion for our trade of wine grower.
Whether your vacations are cultural or sporting; during your stay you can go for walks or bike rides in the vineyards, along the Canal du Midi: nearby, around the ponds, enjoy the large sandy beaches, swimming and practicing all water sports bodyboarding, windsurfing, puddle ...

Monique and Serge were charming hosts and their property was perfect for a couple like us just wanting a relaxing week in an area we know something about. Having said that we found plenty of things to do that were new to us and found Narbonne a lovely town.

A week in a vineyard in southern France

This was a delightful property, clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped (except for the omission of toilet paper and handsoap in the bathroom). Quiet and peaceful. Just a bit remote and difficult to access in that it was situated 4 kilometres into the countryside along a single-lane road. The owner generously gave us a tour of the wine-making facilities and gave us a sampling of some of the wine.

Our stay in Narbonne

We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment was quite basic, for the English market's expectations. The owner was on holiday when we arrived, and we did not get to meet her until halfway through our holiday, so we ended up buying the equipment which was missing. That said, the gite was in a lovely location and we enjoyed our visit to the area.

Es war alles so wie beschrieben. Wir haben die Ruhe in der Natur sehr geschätzt und waren trotzdem innerhalb von wenigen Minuten in der Stadt und konnten einkaufen. Die Vermieterin kümmert sich wunderbar und hat auch immer einen Ausflugstipp parat. Wir konnten Fahrradtouren direkt vor der Haustür beginnen, es war nicht weit zum Strand und auch für weitere Ausflugsziele liegt die Wohnung perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Merci!

Un havre de paix au milieu des vignes, le gîte est parfaitement équipé,un escalier en colimaçon mène à l’étage,les propriétaires particulièrement accueillants , soucieux de communiquer l’histoire de leur famille ainsi que leur amour pour leur activité.

Super séjour dans un logement très propre, très agréable, avec un équipement électroménager dernier cri. Des propriétaires extrêmement gentils et à l'écoute. L'environnement est magnifique, la région est vraiment très belle. À renouveler avec plaisir !

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, stets hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Ferienhaus liegt nahe der Stadt und ist doch mitten in der Natur, abseits vom Trubel, was ein Auto unbedingt notwendig macht. Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreicht, am Abend lockt der Grill und die Ruhe inmitten der Weinberge.

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour d'une semaine très agréable dans le gîte de La Forge. Le gîte est fidèle à sa description, il est propre et très calme. Le cadre du domaine viticole est magnifique. Notre hôte était très agréable, réactive. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié qu'elle prenne le temps de nous raconter l'histoire de ce site d'exception. Nous recommandons !

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt an einem Ort mit historischer Vergangenheit

Sehr schön gelegen und absolut ruhig. Wenige Autominuten von verschiedenen einkaufsgeleiteten. Der Wohnkomplex hat zudem einen historischen Hintergrund der bis 8000 Jahre zurückliegt. Dank an unsere Gastgeberin die ausführliche davon erzählt hat. Inmitten von Weinreben am Fuße des Oppidum de Montlaures gelegen haben wir unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Die Strände in Narbonne und Gruissan sind gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ein Geheimtipp ist die Badebucht am Phare du Cap Leucate. Ein Besuch der Kathedrale war mit im Programm unserer Reise. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Viele liebe Grüße hat.

Erholung pur

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit hier verbracht und den Aufenthalt rundherum genossen. Die Lage ist herrlich, dicht an der Stadt aber in den Weinfeldern, absolut ruhig. Das Haus ist top sauber, für zwei Personen sowieso ausreichend groß, praktischerweise sind Toilette und Bad getrennt. Eine große Essküche, komplett eingerichtet und ausgestattet, ein bequemes Wohnzimmer, daß man auch bei Regen keine Platzangst bekommt, zwei große Schlafzimmer. Die Wendeltreppe mit großem Koffer etwas eng aber machbar. Vor dem Haus ein Sitzplatz für den Kaffee in der Morgensonne, hinten eine schöne Terrasse im Grünen. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett und freundlich, haben auch viele Tips für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben und bei einem kleinen Elektrikproblem sofort reagiert und geholfen. Auch durften wir, da die Weinlese gerade ausgesetzt war, die Lagerhalle besichtigen und haben viel über Weinproduktion und die Geschichte der Domaine erfahren, es war hochinteressant. Encore un grand merci! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Je ne laisse habituellement aucun commentaire sur le net, même lorsque je suis satisfait. Mais là, j'y suis en quelque sorte obligé car je suis plus que satisfait. Les propriétaires font tout pour que votre séjour soit agréable. Ils vous accueillent avec professionnalisme et bienveillance. J'ai passé une trop courte semaine dans leur domaine. Allez-y les yeux fermés.

Hébergement de qualité et bien situé pour rayonner dans la région.

Logement vaste, très bien équipé en électroménager récent, climatisation efficace, le tout dans un beau domaine viticole. Chais impressionnants que les propriétaires, affables, font visiter en évoquant cette propriété qui s’inscrit dans l’histoire familiale. Par ailleurs, on est situé à 10 minutes du centre de Narbonne, à 20 de l’abbaye de Fontfroide (a ne pas manquer), à 30 de Lagrasse (incontournable) et à 45 de Carcassonne (impressionnante). Les plages ne sont pas loin non plus. En bref, il ne pas hésiter à séjourner dans ce cadre unique.

Große Wohnung mit viel Charme

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und auch die 4 km bis zur Innenstadt waren angenehm. Nächste Geschäfte zum Einkauf auch ca. 4 km entfernt. Nur die Kaution von 200 Euro in bar fanden wir etwas nervig. Sie ist aber voll zurück gegeben worden.

Eine Oase zwischen den Weinreben

Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen und haben die nächtliche Ruhe sehr geschätzt. Mehrfach fuhren wir mit dem Fahrrad am Kanal entlang nach Narbonne. Mit dem Auto ging es nach Carcassone, in die Abtei Fontfroide und nach Beziers in den Kletterwald und natürlich mehrfach an den Strand. Ende August/Anfang September war ein idealer Zeitraum. Wir haben alle Mahlzeiten draußen zu uns genommen, je nach Sonnenstand vor und hinter dem Haus Die freundliche Gastgeberin erzählte viel zur Geschichte des Weinguts und der Wein war köstlich.

Ruhig Unterkunft zwischen Weinreben

Eine hilfreiche Wegbeschreibung führte uns problemlos zu unserer Unterkunft, wo wir freundlich empfangen und mit guten Tipps zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Unternehmungen beschenkt wurden. Die Vermieterin lud uns außerdem zu einer Führung durch die Räumlichkeiten der Weinherstellung ein erzählte uns Interessantes zum Ort und seiner Historie. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu kritisieren wäre eigentlich nur der marode Kinderspielplatz, der keinen sicheren Eindruck machte. Man ist im kleinen Garten und auf der Terrasse sehr für sich, die hohen Hecken könnten aber auch einkapselnd empfunden werden , wenn man eigentlich gerne den Blick in die Ferne schweifen lässt. Die Unterkunft ist denen zu empfehlen, die nicht täglich zum Strand pilgern - der Weg dorthin zieht sich - sondern Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit schätzen und zu Unternehmungen im Umland gern losziehen, denn die Anbindung zu Straßen , die einen schnell dahin leiten, ist recht gut.
