Perfect location for our needs. Wonderful host who responded very quickly to any questions we had via WhatsApp. We would happily stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was just as lovely as the first time, and even better, as the property has been very nicely redecorated, with a new kitchen and bathroom. It looks great and was really neat clean, with everything we needed. Easy to explore the local area (although I'd recommend having a car) and even Lisbon. As before, the hosts were amazing - vey friendly and generous. Thank you!

Nice stay close to the ocean

Very nice stay. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space in the garden and by the pool. Good size pool.

We loved our time here. The house is just right and had everything we needed. The pool is beautiful and even bigger than it looked in the pictures. Surrounded by the large, fenced gardens with pine trees and shady hammocks to relax in. The ping-pong table got quite a bit of use too. The area is lovely and the beach only a 3 minute walk down the road. Clean and safe with lifeguards while we were there, maybe slightly more suited to surfers than bathers, depending on whether you mind a bit of pushing around by the waves. Other beautiful beaches close by too. Foz do Lizandro is easily walkable across the headland and has beach bars and toilets and lifeguards. For a very gentle swim we can recommend the sea-water pool at Azenhas do Mar. Francisco was really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of really useful tips, like where to park for certain visits and even where to get the best icecream in Portugal (possibly the world!). We really appreciated his suggestions and approachability. We now want to go back as soon as possible!

Una casa muy cómoda en un lugar excepcional

La vivienda es cómoda y práctica, con todo lo necesario. El exterior es asombroso, agradable y grande. El propietario fue muy amable, nos dio indicaciones muy útiles e incluso nos avisó de festividades de la zona. Siempre disponible. Como punto positivo que puede importar a algunas personas, el internet era excelente y la televisión era más nueva que la que aparece en las fotos. Posibles mejoras: - La cama es un poco corta - Una cafetera para café molido - Arreglar la puerta del armario y el suelo del salón, fue un poco incómodo Estamos muy contentos con nuestra experiencia en este fantástico lugar. Grosses Haus in herrlicher Lage

Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat Fragen schnell beantwortet. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Einrichtung reichlich genutzt, eine insgesamt strapazierte Unterkunft, damit muss man klar kommen. Sehr schade, dass keine Auflagen für Liegen da waren wir hatten Ende Oktober z.T. herrliches Poolwetter. Die Tischtennisplatte ist super neuwertig erhalten und der Pool einfach superklasse exklusiv! Gerne mal wieder...

Ein Stück Natur

Wir wurden vom Gastgeber persönlich begrüßt und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend aufgenommen. Er gab uns viele interessante Tipps zu kulinarischen und touristischen Besonderheiten der Region. Das Haus bot alles, was man für einige entspannte Tage braucht. Der Strand ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und umfasst ein eigenes Wäldchen und einen gepflegten Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Heerlijk genoten aan het zwembad. Een rustige locatie. De broodwagen in de ochtend was ook makkelijk. Kunt ook in de buurt voor weinig geld ontbijten.

Gurrende Tauben, rauschendes Meer

Sehr schönes Doppelhaus mit allem, was man braucht. Gepflegter Pool, schöner großer Waldgarten mit Schwarzkieferbestand. 600m bis zum Meer. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Zum Einkaufen muss man weit fahren, ein Auto ist Pflicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schöne Villa in hervorragender und dabei ruhiger Lage mit fantastischem Grundstück

Das Objekt ist sehr gut gepflegt, es fehlt bei der Einrichtung an nichts; besonders toll und komfortabel ist der Anbau am Pool mit Tischtennisplatte und Extra-Dusche/WC. Die Gartenanlage (5000m²!) mit dem Pool ist fantastisch. Durch die Hanglage hat man vom Wohnzimmer und den Balkonen/Terassen einen fantastischen Blick in den riesigen günen Garten. Ericeira, das Surferpardies, liegt nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Der Strand von Lizandro ist wunderschön und lädt mit herrlichen Wellen und flachem sandigen Einstieg zum perfekten Badespaß ein. Auch der Strand Juliao (fußläufig vom Haus aus zu erreichen) ist herrlich, hat aber einige Steine im Wasser. Für uns als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Jungs im Alter von 10 und 6 - das Haus bietet mit noch einer von uns nicht genutzten Etage auch noch deutlich mehr Platz) ein absolut unvergesslicher und toller Urlaub

La maison est conforme à la description, fonctionnelle et typique des anciennes maisons portugaises. Nous avons peu profité de la piscine car le temps n'était pas avec nous. Seulement 22 degrés alors qu'à Lisbonne il faisait 32!Dommage que l'air de la côte soit si frais. Ceci dit, les enfants en ont quand même bien profité. Et j'ai beaucoup apprécié le calme....

Beautiful outside and pool area, great value accommodation

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The accommodation is basic but there is everything you would need. Given the price for accommodation with a private pool it deserves 5 stars, but if you're looking for luxury inside it might not fit the bill. We are a family of 4 and the bedroom layout is pretty perfect for that. There is a small kitchen/dining/tv area. When we ate in we ate on the patio that over looks the pool and gardens which was lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and sun-beds and loved having it all to ourselves. The area is great with a short walk to a nice beach with a couple of cafes. I would highly recommend a car as you really need to drive to get anywhere other than the local beech. Ericeira is about 15 minutes drive away.

Nette woning van alle comfort voorzien!

We waren hier met 3 kids voor 10 nachten. Prive zwembad was schoon, strand rustig en ca. 200 meter lopen met een gelegenheid tot lunch. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Woning voorzien van was/vaatmachine, magnetron en koelkast. Voldoende strandlakens en handdoeken aanwezig. Dus deze kun je thuis laten. We konden zijn (ruime) auto huren voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Ericeira ca. 15 minuten rijden met voldoende restaurants. Met kinderen zouden we aanbevelen restaurant Casa Portugesa en Pinta. Betaalbaar en lekker. Sintra op ca. half uur rijden. Vanaf daar kun je de trein nemen naar Lissabon. (voor 2 adults en 3 kids was je ca. 15 euro retour kwijt)

A lovely reunion visit....

We loved our stay in this amazing house. We were joined by European friends (former exchange students and friends) and it felt very welcoming and homey. The house is beautiful, the pool fun. We cooked some amazing meals in the well equipped kitchen and ate out at unbelievable cafes. Two year old David was happy with the Lego collection, and he loved his time in the pool. The September sun warmed us well. The beach and bar down the road were fun for hangouts and it was easy to travel to many amazing destinations... Beaches, castles, Fado music, walks, food and wine... We met very kind and fun people, whom we hope to see more in the future. Francisco was a gracious and helpful host. We are still basking in the memories...

CADRE et situation magnifique, villa très bien équipée

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine (du 22/10 au 29/10/16) dans un pays magnifique et très accueillant. Des découvertes très riches, très bien orientées par notre hôte. Tout était réuni pour passer un moment inoubliable, nous avons même pu profiter de la piscine. Encore Merci pour votre gentillesse.

une semaine magnifique

Nous venons de passer une semaine magnifique, dans un endroit juste superbe. La villa, ses équipements, son environnement, sa piscine (que nous avons pu utiliser pour cause de beau temps :-)) ainsi et surtout la gentillesse de son propriétaire, nous a permis de passer un séjour que nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier.
