Perfect family ski retreat in a great location!
This is the second of Jill’s Brian Head, Copper Chase properties that we visited with family. We have been so happy with both. The South Penthouse was exceptional for our group which included 6 adults and 3 young children. Jill’s properties are very well maintained and equipped with everything you might need. The online information and instructions posted at the condo are thorough and easy to follow. Jill is always quick to respond if you have questions or needs. She was very flexible with our checkin time since the previous group checked out a bit early. Our group was impressed!
Very clean and relaxing.
Had a great time at the condo, Jill was amazing and very hospitable...
It was amazing!
Our stay was better than we anticipated. The add on of the childrens loft left my children in heaven! They were entertained the entire time that we stayed. Thank you!!!
Wonderful stay in Brian Head
We had two families stay in the Kraft's condo, 4 adults and 8 kids ages 5-14. The kids loved the loft. There was plenty for them to do in the condo. There was room for us to spread out.
We went to Cedar Breaks one day. We went to Mammoth Caves and hiked Cascade Falls another day. It was beautiful in the area and interesting to see the effects of the Brian Head fire.
The house was amazing. Great location, very well maintained, and big enough for our large group.
Jill was great and very accomodating! House was better then we imagined. I would highly recommend this house and if you have kids definitely purchase the loft! Thanks for an amazing stay!
Brian Head Copper Chase Penthouse South
Our family of 6 adults and 4 young children recently stayed at the double penthouse suite at Copper Chase in Brian Head, Utah for some spring skiing/snowboarding. We had a fantastic time bonding as a family in this comfortable accommodation. It is located between Navajo Mountain and Giant Steps in regards to access to these places. There is a convenient shuttle that comes right below the suite. There is great, ample underground parking and a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi. The unit is spacious and high-ceilinged and we rented the loft for the young children to use which they loved. Access is via a spiral staircase and a small opening. There are 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. The unit was a bit dated but very clean. There are 2 ovens and cooktops and 2 microwave ovens which was more than ample. Our only complaints about the kitchen were the unclean ovens, the broken dishwasher and the lack of a large cooking pot. The owners, however, were very active in communicating with us and replaced the dishwasher with a new one on the 2nd day and found a large pot for us to use. They were very accommodating in not wanting to intrude on us during our stay. One owner was on site and the other very much in contact by phone. The unit's heating is very comfortable and even throughout the suite. There is convenient snowboard/ski storage outside the door and nice glove or boot heating units as a bonus. In addition there were sleds to use which were put to good use when we had new snow during the week. There were plenty of plugs for recharging phones or ipads. 10 people is about the limit in the dining room. The only major drawback we found was that one of the bedrooms had a locked closet so there was no place to hang clothes except on a few hooks. A lot of cabinets were also locked so there was not very much pantry storage. The other is that this is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the unit, so you need to be in good shape to carry gear and food up the 3 flights of stairs or don't bring much at all. Overall this is a great unit for groups of 8-12 people.
Brian Head is just a few minutes from the Cedar Breaks National Monument and about an hours drive from Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryan Head is just 20 minutes from Parowan, the County Seat, which is the gateway to the world famous Petroglyphs at the Parowan Gap. Brian Head is also just 40 minutes from Cedar City, the home of the yearly Utah Shakespeare festival, and makes a great place to stay when enjoying this wonderful event. Bryan Head is only a 3 hour drive from Las Vegas or the Grand Canyon National Park, making it a great 'home base' for your vacation. During the winter Brian Head is home to great skiing/boarding that is perfect for families and groups. There are miles of snowmobile trails and guided snowmobile tours. There is also ice fishing at nearby lakes and many snow tubing hills. During the Summer Brian Head is the perfect cool temperature getaway due to its high altitude. Excellent mountain biking, fishing, hiking and ATVing, make Brian Head a one stop destination that will please everyone in your group.
