Ajaccio

We stayed in the apartment for a week. Communication with Joseph was very fast and he was very friendly. The location of the apartment was perfect. The apartment is located in the old town and it was only 2 minutes to the beach. The apartment was well equipped, especially the kitchen had everything you need.

Appartement au top

L’appartement est bien aménagé, idéalement situé à 3 mn à pied de la plage Saint-François, 2 mn à pied du port et 5 mn à pied du marché. Il est très bien équipé en vaisselle et électroménager. Le propriétaire est très sympa et réactif. Je le recommande.

Situation agréable, proche du port et des nombreux restaurants. Bonne idée de laisser aux occupants un caddie pour les courses Par contre: éclairage de la chambre à revoir (impossible de lire, lampes de chevet trop pales , éclairage au plafond avec mauvais contact) et aspirateur inutilisable Sinon, on a bien profité, au calme dans cet appartement, bien décoré, cuisine bien fournie en matériel, salle d’eau récente et agréable

Très agréable séjour

L’emplacement au pied du port est très pratique pour prendre les navettes. La plage Saint François est à quelques minutes. Boutiques et restaurants sont autour du logement qui possède un double vitrage. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Joseph, le propriétaire a été aux petits soins pour satisfaire nos désirs.

Très bon accueil, très bon séjour ! Joseph, le propriétaire, est disponible et arrangeant, l'appart reste frais même en pleine canicule, c'est vraiment agréable.

Joseph est toujours agréable et disponible en cas de problème. Très bel appartement et très situé dans le quartier historique d'Ajaccio. Je recommande vivement cette annonce.

Wonderful

My girlfriend and I stayed at this lovely apartment for more then 3 weeks and we had a great time living there. It really was a home away from home for us for this period of time.. The apartment is in great shape and is fully equipped with everything we needed, like a luxurious kitchen (with a washer, dryer, dish washer and a large selection of kitchen appliances) and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower. The great thing about the apartment for us was that it was quiet and peaceful there. This was especially wonderful because the apartment is located right in the heart of Ajaccio (extremely close to the port, a beach, the boulevard, restaurants, Napoleon's house, etc.). But when we were inside the apartment we could really leave everything behind us and unwind. The double glass windows do an excellent job of keeping the street noises away. And because the apartment is equiped with 2 airconditioners it was never a problem to close the windows when we felt like it (the temperature was always nice). The atmosphere inside is cosy and Joseph (the owner) is a great guy. He made us feel right at home from the moment we got there, having prepared some fresh fruit, a bottle of local whine and some local pastries for us. He was very friendly and helped us out whenever we had questions about anything. It was great meeting him and his family who live at the top floor of the same buiding. They gave us our space and at the same time made us feel so welcome living in Ajaccio. Thanks again for all your efforts Joseph! All the best, Bas & Maaike (from Holland)

Superbe emplacement

Bel accueil du propriétaire, très sympathique et disponible pour donner de bons conseils restos et activités. L'appartement est très bien équipée et confortable. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement en plein centre-ville d'Ajaccio qui nous permet de se déplacer à pieds (marché, plage, port). Très agréable de se retrouver dans l'action du centre-ville et pouvoir retrouver la tranquillité à l'appartement. Nous avons adoré et recommandons cet appartement pour un beau séjour sur l'île de la beauté.

Très bien accueillis par le propriétaire Joseph. Attentioné, il avait prévu notre petit déjeuner et s'est montré disponible et à l'écoute. L'appartement est conforme à la description. Confortable et fonctionnel. Très propre.Idéalement situé au centre d'Ajaccio.Attention donc au stationnement payant soit de 8h à 18h ou 24h/24h pour les parking fermés. Le parking gratuit le plus proche se situant à 3km environ.

"Our stay in this apartme...

"Our stay in this apartment was fabulous! Our host, Joseph, was very welcoming and gracious and provided some great advice on what to see, restaurants to try, etc., as this was our very first trip to Corsica. Joseph was wonderful to deal with from the booking process, right through to the end of our stay. The apartment was very clean and organized. There were three of us and we found it very comfortable, like being home away from home. You could not ask for a more convenient location. The apartment is literally in the heart of old Ajaccio. It is exactly 150 footsteps away from the house Napoleon was born in, we counted them! How cool is that?! The apartment is right by the port, close to so many nice restaurants and bars. There are also many markets and bakeries in the area which was great. There is a beach right nearby but it is very small, just a narrow strip. However, there is a bigger beach the further you walk down the main road along the coast. It is actually a very nice and scenic walk to get there and not that far. If you rent a car or take public transit, I'm sure you can find some spectacular beaches. We were there at the end of September so that was not a big priority for us. We loved the location of this apartment. It was close to everything. Another important point that we would like people to be aware of is that we found Ajaccio to be a very safe town. We were three single females travelling together and that was a concern for us but we found everyone to be very friendly and helpful. Regarding the interior of the apartment, it is on the second floor of the building and there is no elevator. We did not find it difficult getting up the stairs at all, but it may be a problem for someone with mobility issues. There is a separate bedroom and a big Murphy bed in the living room. We found the beds to be very comfortable. Because the apartment is located in a lively area, there is noise at night if the windows are left open. However, once the windows are closed you can't hear anything outside. There is air conditioning so there's no issue if you have to keep the windows closed. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need in order to dine in. All the appliances were in perfect working order. The bathroom was great and the shower was a good size as indicated in the description. Clean towels and linens were provided. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to stay in charming Ajaccio."
