A QUIET NATURAL BLACK VOLCANIC SAND BEACH AND A NATURAL POOL WITH A NICE SOLARIUM ONLY 1 MINUTE WALK FROM THE APARTMENT ALLOW TO ENJOY A PEACEFUL AND RELAXING HOLIDAY, SO ...This is the ideal place for ROMANTIC COUPLES, PHOTOGRAPHY, FISHING, DIVING and HICKING LOVERS... FAMILIES WITH BABIES OR CHILDREN UP TO 2 YEARS OLD, too! We offer a friendly, clean and comfortable place. Two terraces right over the sea, facing the highest volcano in Spain (Mounteide), the Northen coast of Tenerife and the ocean wide. There is also a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL (one of the very fewest on the island) with direct access to the sea and a nice solarium only 1 minute walk from the apartment.

The apartment is fully equipped: a part of the 2 OUTDOOR TERRACES, there is also a kitchenette ( with all necessary utensils for use) , DIINING CORNER AND LOUNGE ( TV , DVD, sofa bed ... ) . BEDROOM WITH King Size DOUBLE BED, shower room (complete with washing machine for exclusive use of the apartment) . The property is on the 8th floor of a large building located virtually on the sea. Formerly , this was a great hotel, nowadays, individual apartments with stunning views of the sea and the entire northern coast of the island of Tenerife.

THE TOWN AND ITS ENVIRONNMENT
Mesa del Mar is a very small,safe and quite town (about 350 people).It is situated on the North coast of the island facing to West which offers fantastic sunsets while enjoying a warm weather all the year long.
Far from tourism and croud , the busiest part of the town has a wide free parking place. Nearby, there are two swimming-pools: one of the pools is natural and it fills and empties with the tides so that the water is always clean. The other pool works only during summer time. Nearby the pools, there is another walking path that leads to a small town called El Pris. The tour is only about 15 minutes walk and you get to a town that has a small old style pier, one of the very fewest that still exist on the island. In this town there is the opportunity to buy fresh fish or eat it in one of the restaurants.
Finally, we will detail some of the facilities you can find at the town: a grocery, two restaurants, a Diving club and a bus stop.
From MESA DEL MAR it is very easy to get to any place of the island. The TF-5 motorway is only 10 minutes from town and once there, you can easily get around the island:
* PUERTO DE LA CRUZ is a tourist resort (20 min . driving). It has beaches , theme park, restaurants, shops ...
* SAN CRISTOBAL DE LA LAGUNA World Heritage City (UNESCO ) , (20 min . driving). It is a medieval city with no walls around. It inspired the constructions of the Latin American cities by using the classic Greek and Roman canons.
* SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE . Capital of the island ( 25 min. driving). Cosmopolitan city that has the charm of a coastal capital ( Teresitas beach with golden sand , malls , shopping areas ... )
* RURAL PARK ANAGA (30 min . driving) One of the few places in the world where you can still see laurel forests which is the autochthonous flora of Macaronesia .
* VALLEY OROTAVA (visible from the apartment, 25 min . driving) It is an interesting place with typical houses and typical layout of the island towns.
* NATIONAL PARK EL Teide . (Visible from the apartment and 1 and 1/ 2 hour driving) the visit is essential . The highest mountain/volcano in Spain with unique landscapes, endemic flora, fauna ....
* The ravine and town of Masca ( 1 and 1/ 2 hour driving)
* The south of the island , tourist resort. ( 1and 1/ 2 hour driving) is the farest point. In this area you can find all the attractiveness of tourist areas (restaurants, beaches , casinos, hotels , leisure centers, shopping centers... )

Blissfully peaceful

The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Clean, Comfortable, Easy access, Secure. The views and privacy you have are amazing. Mesa Del Mar is just a great base to explore the island and you can take a lovely walk along the sea front & beach. We spent 28 nights here exploring the Island and spending time chilling out in this wonderful place.

großzügiges sauberes Apartment mit großartiger Aussicht aufs Meer und die Berge bis zum Teide, sehr ruhige Wohnanlage - man hört nur das Rauschen des Meeres.....gut ausgestattete Küche und ein sehr großes Bett mit ausgezeichneten Matratzen...netter Empfang mit Frühstück, Obst und Wein....ein Ort, an dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben

"L''appartamento è fantastico ed a ridosso del mare piazzato su una scogliera. Indubbiamente il posto è dotato di un''atmosfera da sogno. Purtroppo i venti alisei che battono di frequente la zona, fanno si che il tempo sia spesso nuvoloso. D''altra parte per percorrere l''isola da nord a suid ci vuole solo un''ora e mezza!! Adatto a chi lontano dalla vita frenetica desidera relax e tranquillità."

Für uns - zwei Personen - war das ein perfekter Ort für einen wirklich erholsamen urlaub : sehr gut eingerichtetes Appartement mit Blick übers Meer auf Teide, sehr schöner Strand gleich dabei, gutes Restaurant, kleiner Laden - und keine Hektik irgendwo. The views are absolutely amazing waking up and opening the blinds every morning was stunning the apartment was very comfortable with a nice little bar 2 minutes walk I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a chilled break

Geräumige und saubere Wohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick

Der Empfang war problemlos und sehr freundlich. Die großzügige Wohnung hat zwei Balkone mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und den Teide. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Keine unerwünschten Viecher! Gewürze, Öl etc. waren vorhanden. Im Kühlschrank waren bei meiner Anreise eine Flasche Sekt und div. Nahrungsmittel vorhanden. Sehr nett! Der Internetanschluss war sehr gut; deutsches TV war verfügbar. Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ich kann die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Große und gepflegte und gut ausgestattete Wohnung, zwei ab ca. mittags sonnige Balkone mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und den Teide. Die Wohnung liegt im 8. Stock eines Hochhauses. Wirkt von außen nicht sehr einladend ist aber alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und kümmert sich, sollte mal etwas sein. Ich habe mich in der Wohnung und in Mesa del Mar sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit einer Top Lage

Die Lage der Wohnung ist einzigartig, die Wohnung ist viel schöner als auf den Fotos zu sehen. Das Aufwachen am Morgen macht schon richtig gute Laune für den Ganzen Tag, sobald man die Augen aufgemacht hat, sieht man den Teide, das Meer und hört nur die Wellen. Das alles sieht und hört man von jede stelle in der Wohnung. Beide Balkone sind gleich groß und Richtung Süd-West ausgerichtet mit sehr schönen Sonnenuntergängen. Wen man ein ruhigen Ort für sehr schönen Urlab in der Natur sucht ist man hier genau Richtig. Zum Strand sind es ca. 300 Meter und zum Naturschwimmbecken in den man auch bei hohen Wellen schwimmen kann ca. 200 Meter. Schöne Wohnung, Super Lage, Super Urlaub. Vielen Dank an Bella, die einen Super Empfang vorbereitet hat, im Kühlschrank hat auf uns schon eine Flasche Sekt gewartet und alles was man braucht um den Ersten Tag über die runden zu bekommen ohne dass man direkt einkaufen fahren muss.(Brot, Wurst, Obst, Gemüse usw.) Danke, Danke, Danke.... und bin mir ganz sicher bis zum nächsten mal.

Excelente trato y estancia!

Nuestra estancia en este apartamento fue excelente desde el primer día que llegamos tuvimos un buen trato de nuestra propietaria y estuvo disponible las 24h para cualquier duda o problema que tuviéramos en el apartamento.Es una zona estupenda donde poder relajarte tanto en la piscina agua natural tanto como en la playa de arena volcánica.Las vistas desde el apartamento son preciosas tanto de noche como de día. El apartamento es muy acogedor y esta mucho mejor cuando lo ves en persona que cuando lo ves a través de las fotos de la web. Se lo recomendamos a todos tipo de gente ya sea a una pareja como a una familia con niños. P.D : Si queréis comer buena comida canaria y variada ir al Restaurante El Rubio nos lo recomendó nuestra casera y salimos super contentos de allí.

Les vacances au calme au bruit des vagues.

Avant tout, je remercie madame Bella qui nous à accueilli dans notre propre chez soi. C'est endroit est terrible, un petit village de pêcheur au beau millieu de nulle part, mais très très agréable à vivre. Le calme et la tranquilité nous a fait renaître en quelque sorte une deuxième fois. Les personnes qui y habitent sont très généreux et très serviable. Les montagnes et les paturages ont chaviré notre coeur et cet endroit est plus que necessaire à visité pour ceux qui ont un train de vie chargé, pour enlever son stress, mais aussi pour respirer l'air pur... (très important) Je remercie Bella pour sa gentillesse et son bel appartement d'une propreté et d'un équipement de haut standing. Merci, merci, merci de la part de toute ma petite famille et à la prochaine Fayçal de Bruxelles

Superbe location

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet appartement plus que confortable, bercés la nuit au bruit des vagues et émerveillés le matin et soir par la vue sur le Tede et les falaises des balcons. Le site est juste magnifique, calme et très bien situé pour visiter le Nord de l'île. Un petit village de pêcheur est situé à 15 min à pieds, cela permet d'aller acheter du poisson frais directement lors du retour des pêcheurs. Bella, la propriétaire, nous a très bien accueilli et se rend disponible pour toute question ou problème. Petite surprise à votre arrivée très agréable. Je recommande fortement cette location

Appartement avec vue sur mer et sur le Teide

Appartement "sur la mer" avec vue superbe sur le Teide. Excellent accueil de la propriétaire qui parle parfaitement le français. Tout à fait conforme à nos attentes : spacieux, propre et bien équipé. Le frigo contenait quelques aliments et boissons qui ont été les bienvenus (dont une bouteille de Cava). Excellente situation pour la visite de l'Anaga, tout proche ainsi que La Laguna. Le Teide n'est pas loin. A recommander à ceux qui veulent séjourner au calme et découvrir une autre facette de l'île que la côte Sud. Tacoronte, à env. 5km. comporte tous les commerces souhaitables. Voiture indispensable. Michel et Françoise.

Une location idéale sur Ténérife

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cet appartement très chaleureux et très bien équipé. L'accueil de Bella est plus que parfait et son attention à notre égard plus qu'appréciable (fruits, quelques aliments dans le frigo, champagne...) . Voyageant avec un enfant de 19 mois, Bella nous a de plus prêté tout l'équipement nécessaire (poussette, chaise haute, baignoire, porte-bébé...) ce qui a facilité notre voyage. La route pour accéder à la location est effectivement vertigineuse mais on s'y habitue rapidement. Et il faut aimer le bruit des vagues et du vent pour passer de bonnes nuits. Une location à conseiller les yeux fermés !

Un appartement confortable dans un endroit superbe

La location est bien située pour visiter l'île de Tenerife. L'accueil par la propriétaire a été très chaleureux. Vaste et propre, l'appartement répondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Le petit "plus" c'est, des deux balcons, la vue magnifique que nous avions sur la mer, les montagnes et le Teide. Et que dire des couchers de soleil!

Quelle belle semaine !

Quelle belle semaine nous avons passée à Mesa del Mar : beau temps, bel appartement, charmante hôtesse, vues extraordinaires sur la mer et le Teide ! L'accueil de Bella ( et de tous les Canariens en général) est très chaleureux et plein d'attentions. Deux informations importantes : l'accès à l'immeuble emprunte une route vertigineuse et la première fois, on est très impressionné même s'il n'y a aucun risque ; enfin le ressac des vagues au pied de l'immeuble crée une vraie ambiance sonore : mais même ces deux éléments participent à la magie du lieu !

Surely one of the best views on the island.

Many thanks to Bella who was efficient and helpful during the booking process. Excellent directions provided, wonderful supply of food and drinks on arrival and a personal meeting. The apartment is large and well located. It would be more suitable for people with a car although there is a bus service. The views are actually better than those shown on the photos. We initially thought that the apartment would not be quite as good as it looked on the website but we were proved completely wrong. It is even better! I do not think we have ever had better value for money either. We agree completely with the other reviews submitted. I would be happy to recommend this property. Once again thanks, we did not want to go home!

Het uitzicht was fantasti...

Het uitzicht was fantastisch:De oceaan en de Teide. De hele dag hoor je het geraas van de oceaan. Er was volop huisraad en de ruimte was netjes en erg groot. Het was in het complex erg stil. Ook de omgeving trekt weinig mensen behalve een paar vissers. De entree is nogal onpersoonlijk. Dit valt echter weg,als je je eigen deur bent binnengestapt.

We are a family of 4 with a modest apartment in a quiet area by the seaside.
This is our second home and we like spending some weekends and holidays here. What we like the most is the CALM, the STUNNING VIEWS, the IDEAL CLIMATE (possibly the healthiest on the island!) and the comfort of our home...
We have 2 daughters (5 and 2 years old) and we like travelling so, we know exactly what families with babies need.
We also work together with an enterprise of professional hikers who can make personalised tours for those who like nature and want to visit unique villages and lanscapes in the island! There are special tours for families with babies, as well!
I like meeting people so, please feel free to ask me whatever you need to organize your stay!

2 TERRACES VIRTUALLY ON THE SEA... A SPACIOUS, SAFE AND CONFORTABLE PLACE TO RELAX AND SPEND A MEMORABLE HOLIDAYS. ONE OF THE VERY RARE NATURAL SWIMMING POOLS ON THE ISLAND IS JUST 1 MINUTE WALK FROM THE APARTMENT! FAR FROM CROWD BUT ONLY 10 MINUTES FROM THE MAIN ISLAND ROADS!!
