About Cyndi Albers

My husband and I are both from the mid-west (Iowa and Illinois) but we met in Fort Collins, Colorado while attending Colorado State University. After graduating, we moved up to Big Sky, Montana for 4 glorious years where we skied all winter and rafted all summer. We then moved to Grand Junction where my husband worked at a large production greenhouse for 5 years. I worked for the City of Grand Junction's Recycling Program for 8+ years and then when I found out I was pregnant, I decided driving forklifts wasn't for me. My husband is now employed at Leitner Poma and is a licensed journeyman electrician. He builds and installs ski-lifts (and other exciting projects)! We love the Grand Valley and all that it has to offer. We are 45 minutes, doorstep to doorstep, to Powderhorn Ski Resort and the Grand Mesa. We also love the proximity to all of the different mountain biking systems in the valley and hiking trails as well. The Riverside bike trail system is about a mile away and from there you can bike along the river east to Palisade or head west all the way to Fruita. It will soon connect all the way to Palisade as well. We also love downtown Grand Junction because of the street art (a must see), restaurants, bars, farmer's markets, weekend festivals, the Avalon Theater and shopping just moments away.

Why Cyndi Albers chose Grand Junction

We choose this property because of it's downtown location. The 1900 home is so charming and comfortable and has lots of character. Feels like home!

Comfortable, easy, and super close to downtown!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was extremely easy, the house was very clean and comfortable. Cyndi was super helpful and easy to get a hold of if needed. The house was literally right next to downtown. There was tons of information about Grand Junction available in a binder in the house and overall our experience was perfect!

We had a great time staying at this house. Tons of books for the kids. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The backyard and front sitting area were lovely.

perfect house for time spent in GJ, CO.

  • 5 of 5

The house itself was warm and welcoming. Each room put together for comfort, nice sheets, towels, lighting...the back deck was perfect to sit on in mornings and gather thoughts, enjoy coffee and just be. Cyndi and Keith were lovely, warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Laura

Relaxing time

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I stayed at this property in Grand Junction and it was delightful. The house is very artsy and has a relaxing vibe. We spent our mornings and evenings on the back porch, which has many plants and is very comfortable. We will stay here again!!

Cozy house right downtown

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed in the house for three nights. The lovely paintings on the walls make me wonder if the house is owned by an artist. Anyway, the house was cozy and clean. It has really nice front and back porches. My wife and I walked to 626 on Rood for dinner one night, which was fabulous. We also walked to Enstrom's, to the bagel shop on Main, and to the antique store on Main (all highly recommended). That's the thing about this house--it's on a quiet street, but it's easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We will happily return.

Wonderful base of operations in the Grand junction area

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I came to the Grand Junction area for a few days of biking and hiking. This house was really perfect--it is cute and comfortable, with nice furnishings and a very well outfitted kitchen. In fact, the kitchen was so nice that we hardly went to a restaurant. The owner was helpful and friendly, and the house is well located, only a block or two from the main area containing restaurants, shops, etc. We couldn't have had a better experience and plan to return.
