Welcome to Mauritius! First villa offered on short term rental, the second one being visible on offer No. 6661332, ‘Villa Pampas 1’ is a 160 sqm geodesic dome villa with a unique architecture where a sense of harmony, light and space prevails. With a large private pool heated in winter and a lush tropical garden entirely fenced to guarantee total intimacy, you will enjoy a very comfortable, peaceful and safe holidays during your stay. ‘Villa Pampas’ boasts a suite on the ground floor (master bedroom with kingsize bed and adjacent bath room), two bedrooms on the first floor (with queen size bed) with another bathroom, all bedrooms air conditioned, a very spacious living room with an elegant interior design of contemporary style, a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, smart TV, international channels, monitored alarm system with mobile guarding intervention from Brinks, CCTV system (For added security, some exterior areas are under CCTV surveillance: The road in front of the villa, the gate & driveway from the gate to the villa, the garage & outside the main access/door and the rear of the villa), baby equipment (cot, highchair, stroller, rocker, safety stair gate) as well as a cleaning lady services inclusive. The cleaning lady is very quiet and helpful, and she may prepare typical local dishes and cuisine as an optional extra. ‘Villa Pampas’ is located within walking distance (100m) of the very nice Albion public beach and the Club Med La Plantation d’Albion 5 star resort where you may have the opportunity of enjoying some of their services (Bar/Restaurant on all inclusive, nautical sports, pools, mini golf, tennis/sports, etc.) for a fixed package for a day. There is a well stocked grocery within 3 minutes drive from the Villa as well as a few restaurants (1 or 2) within walking distance. Vacances magnifique

Nous avons passés d'agréable vacances dans la villa PAMPAS. L'emplacement magnifique , propre et bien sécurisé. Dorine a été parfaite et nous a préparé de très bon petit plat locaux.Location superbe identique à l’annonce vraiment zéro souci Je recommande , car on est vraiment en vacances, et vous avez tout à côté (restaurant, plage ......) Encore merci, nous avons passés de magnifique vacances.

Very nice Villa!

It was a very nice vacation at Villa Pampas. Everything was clean and nice. Also Soumila always took care of the house every morning and was super friendly and helpful with any quedtions we had. Thanks a lot for the great experience!

Une magnifique maison !

Nous avons passé 6 jours dans cette très jolie maison. Elle est très bien située à proximité de la plage et l’accès à un petit restaurant ou un magasin de courses est très pratique. Le jardin est bien entretenu et c’est un vrai plaisir d’aller dans la piscine. La maison est bien équipée, il ne manque rien.

Pampas Villa 1 Albion Mauritius

We were met on arrival at the villa by the housekeeper Dorinne. Dorinne was very friendly and showed us all around the villa and explained the alarms and keys etc. The villa is extreamly well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. There is a cool box and beach chairs and umbrellas provided for beach days along with beach towels. The bedding and towels are changed reguarly. The pool is kept beautifully with the poolman coming twice a week to clean it. Dorinne is in every morning apart from Sundays and is an absolute asset to thevilla. To sum up the villa exceeded all our expectations.

De superbes vacances

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans la villa Pampas. La maison est grande, très bien équipée et le jardin très beau avec sa terrasse et sa piscine. Un lit bébé, ainsi qu'une chaise haute nous ont été prêtés. Une barrière pour empêcher l'accès à l'escalier a également pu être installée pour notre bébé de 19 mois. Dorinne, qui fait le ménage dans la maison, est une personne charmante et extrêmement gentille. Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir pu faire sa connaissance et d'avoir pu goûter à sa délicieuse cuisine. La communication avec les propriétaires était très simple. Ils sont réactifs et nous ont beaucoup aidé notamment pour réserver les transports villa- aéroport et pour la location de la voiture. La situation de la villa est idéale. En quelques minutes à pied et nous étions à la plage ou au petit supermarché. Nous sommes partis à regret, nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir dès que l'occasion se présentera.

Excellent séjour

Très belle villa au calmeconforme aux photos. Dorine, très bonne cuisinière, toujours prête à aider et conseiller, a permis un excellent séjour. Vilnod, le chauffeur de taxi nous a fait visiter de nombreux sites et nous a permis de mieux connaître l'île Maurice. Bref, à recommander.

Merci Dorinne

Un grand merci à Dorinne pour les bons petits plats qu'elle nous a préparés et pour le travail fait dans la maison. Maison très bien entretenu avec petit jardin et belle petite piscine pour ce rafraichir quand il fait trop chaud. Le seul petit bémol, c'est que le lit est encore très dure même avec le sur-matelas, mais autrement rien a redire car le reste était parfait.

Villa Pampas1

Nous avons passé 3 semaines de vacances merveilleuses. Aucune mauvaise surprise à notre arrivée. Villa très sécurisée, propre et bien équipée, avec tout le confort. Linge de bain et de plage disponible. Espace extérieur très agréable avec une belle piscine privée. Grand merci à Paris et Marie-Christine pour cette belle prestation, toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Egalement, un très grand merci à Dorine pour son dévouement et ses excellents petits plats qu'elle nous à concocté tout au long de notre séjour. Personne très agréable et de bon conseilles pour la découverte de l'ile. Location idéal que nous recommandons vivement pour passer un séjour inoubliable. Marie-France et Christian.

Stylish villa

Villa Pampas is an architecturally stylish property with the wow factor. It is spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and is very well equipped. The owner’s communication and support in making holiday arrangements could nit be bettered. Dorine, the housekeeper is a real asset. She cleans diligently every day, cooks amazing local food for a small fee and is available to support with advice on where to go. She is very discreet and will adjust her arrival time to suit you and work in other areas of the house if you are still having breakfast etc. The garden is full of tropical plants and trees and is nice and mature, giving privacy and a great holiday setting. The grounds and pool are both very well maintained. Albion is a residential area rather than a resort but it has a good public beach - not the best for swimming as although it is sandy, it is a little rocky going into the water, but it has magnificent sunsets and is a great place to join the locals at the weekend with a picnic. Albion is a great base from which to explore the rest of the island.

Toller Urlaub!

Sehr großzügig und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles, was man braucht. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat sich bei Fragen um alles sofort gekümmert. Unsere Haushilfe Dorin stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zu Seite und ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit dort.

Highly recommendable

First of all a very nice host with a great team. The hospitality of our house support lady was great and her cooking always delicious. The house is great for families with 2 to 4 children, the pool is sufficient for some cooling especially in the afternoons. Albion is not a tourist spot but actually quite well located to explore the island. Its beach is very standard, but the quietness at the house overweighted this by far. The local super market is convenient, a nice mall including a better equipped super market is about 20 minutes by car (Cascavelle). The house is very interesting by the way it is constructed, we loved it. BBQ facility is given, very good local chicken and Australian beef at Winners in Cascavelle. Overall we will miss it and hopefully have the chance to return.

A Private Piece of Paradise

Villa Pampas was ideal for our multi-generational reunion (two of us from the UK, our daughter and grandson from Australia). Paris and Marie-Christine were very responsive hosts, especially when our flight from the UK was delayed by six hours and all the travel from the airport and checking-in plans had to be changed at short notice. The villa was very clean and comfortable, although air conditioning in the living area would have been more effective than the two fans provided given how hot it was in the evenings (air con in the bedrooms was a godsend!). The garden was lush, well-equipped with garden furniture and completely private. The pool was gorgeous and ideal for a toddler with gentle steps down into it (NB it is not fenced off). Dorine, our lovely housekeeper, did everything for us including cooking on request (for a small fee plus the cost of ingredients). Her local dishes were delicious and she was happy to make vegetarian versions for our daughter, as well as yummy samosas and spring rolls which our 17 month old loved! Paris also organised car hire for us, having the car delivered to the villa. Returning it to the airport on departure was easy and efficient. The villa itself is in a residential area with a well-stocked supermarket (Dodo) five minutes walk away. Albion Beach was also supposed to be about five minutes walk but, unfortunately, recent rains had damaged the bridge short cut to it so it was a ten-minute drive instead. It was not the best beach as there was quite of lot of broken coral which was painful on the feet, as was also the case at Flic-en-Flac - no big deal for adults but not so good for a toddler who loves running in and out of the sea, The beaches we liked best (La Cuvette and Pereybere in the Grand Baie area) were an hour's drive to the north. Lastly, be sure to lunch at Marie-Christine's restaurant Escale Creole in Moka for a warm welcome, wonderful food and a heavenly tropical garden.

Superbe location

Location superbe identique à l’annonce vraiment zéro souci. Un énorme plus à Dorine pour le ménage et surtout pour la cuisine mauricienne qu’elle peut nous faire quasiment tous les soirs. De plus elle nous fait part de tout ce qui est à voir sur son île.

La villa correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos, très sécurisé, M Forget le propriétaire est très gentil et réactif pour toutes les demandes. Dorine qui s´occupe de la villa est très efficace et discrète, elle nous a appris beaucoup de choses sur la vie Mauricienne, et elle cuisine très bien. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, et nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Villa magnifique

La Villa Pampa est très propre et très belle, avec la piscine et le magnifique jardin arboré. Dorine qui s’occupe de la maison a su nous mettre à l’aise dès notre arrivé et nous a très bien expliqué le déroulement. Elle est très gentille est accueillante, Rien à dire. Elle vient tous les jours pour s’occuper du ménage pour qu’on est rien à faire et qu’on passe de bonnes vacances. Il y a un personnel pour l’entretien de la piscine et un jardinier. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour autant dans la villa qu’à Maurice. Mr Forget le propriétaire est très réactif pour n’importe quelle demande. Je recommande vraiment cette villa, aucuns regrets, vous pouvez passez que de bonnes vacances.

un séjour inoubliable

La villa est de bonne taille pour une famille de 4 personnes. Les parents ont leur suite avec SDB privée, et les enfants ont chacun une chambre avec une SDB commune. La cuisine est bien équipée, la salle de vie suffisamment spacieuse. A l'extérieur, le jardin est chaleureux et mignon, avec une petite piscine, des transat et un "lit" d'exterieur. Le must, c'est Dorine, la femme de ménage qui a aussi ses talents de cuisinière à vous proposer contre un paiement d'environ 6 euros par repas + les ingrédients. Vous gouterez les plats et délices typiques de l'ile. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement, les serviettes de plage à volonté. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. Il y a une place de parking à l'interieur de la propriété pour se garer. Un supermarché et l'accès à la plage sont à 5 min à pieds. Très pratique pour aller chercher une baguette tradition (très bonne) chaque matin. Enfin, la sécurité de la villa est omniprésente: système d'alarme, portail fermé, barreaux aux fenetres, etc. Enfin, les echanges avec le propriétaire étaient excellents, que ce soit sur la plateforme Abritel ou via WhatsApp sur place. Il est arrangeant et organise au mieux pour que chaque souci n'en soit plus un. Bref, une location idéale, qui nous a fait passer un séjour inoubliable.
