Escape to the Ranch!, Sleeps 8, Vineyards and Luckenbach

Sitting on 63 acres, this wonderful home offers a comfortable yet elegant home away from home! Take a walk, enjoy the wildlife or pet the resident horses! This property is located only a short drive from Luchenbach and the many Hill Country wineries. Inside the 3 bedroom/3 bath house, you will find a large foyer with an array of art, mostly horse and Hill Country landscapes. The dining room is perfect for serving guests or setting up for a small party. The spacious living room offers a leather sofa and two comfy, overstuffed chairs placed to enjoy the large television over the wood burning fireplace. The equine art attests to the owner's love of horses! Open to the living room is a large kitchen, which is fully equipped for entertaining. A farm table seats eight in this open floor plan.
Three bedrooms are found in the house. The master bedroom has a handsome black bed with white comforter and fluffy pillows. The adjacent bathroom is both spacious and beautiful with its tile walls, floor and shower. Two sinks make getting dressed a snap! A wrought iron scroll headboard is in the 'Cowgirl' room and accomodates a queen bed topped with soft neutral colors. The 'Cowboy' room has a rustic post bed with plaid coverings. The lower bunk is a double bed and the upper, a single. A large soaking tub is in the second bath and the third bath offers another shower.
The back yard has a great porch for visiting and includes comfortable Adirondack chairs for sipping a glass of wine or cup of coffee. At night, enjoy the party lights and outdoor fire pit.

Great property!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great because it was centrally located between town and the wineries. Plus the view from the patio was beautiful and relaxing watching the sunrise and the sunset. The house was very welcoming and spacious for a family getaway. We all felt very comfortable and agreed that it felt like a real home. Angela was very friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely come back!

Who needs wineries, no desire to leave this place!
Everything about this stay far surpassed any and all expectations. Tis home presents like a 5 star hotel with the charm and comfort of home. We lack for nothing… every possible kitchen gadget was there and the appliances top notch. By far my two favorite most appreciated aspects of this property was the beautiful yard with endless views, fire pit and peaceful back porch but #1 was our host. Angela came by and checked on us at our arrival providing lots of goodies, including best ever pumpkin bread hot out of the oven. Her kind spirit just added so much to our visit! This place is now ranked our top VBRO property!

This is a great home to stay. The home is welcoming and has a very relaxing vibe. The back porch, sitting under the cloth top, was a great place to drink morning coffee. To add to the environment the horses were in the pasture ands such a blessing to watch. Kitchen is well stocked and while we did not cook was great for breakfast. Will stay again.

Amazing ranch getaway!
We loved our stay here! The home is upscale and comfortable, with so many amenities. Has wifi, smart TV, farm views, privacy, plenty of seating, extremely stocked kitchen, nice towels, etc. The bunk room is adorable and had toys that worked for both our kids (5 & 9). We appreciated the beds - king for parents and bunk for kids. (Also has a queen room and three full baths!!! 2 with showers, 1 with tub.) We loved the fenced yard with seating and fire pit, right across from the horses. I spent a lot of time there. Angela was extremely kind - she left us milk, eggs, OJ, fresh zuchinni bread. (Also had condiments, Goldfish crackers, tea, popcorn, and more!) We met Angela when she was stabling her horses, and she showed us how to feed them carrot snacks. Our kids fell in love with Rose and Brownie and already want to return to visit them. We did have a couple scorpions visit, one indoor and one outdoor. The home is treated monthly to deter them, and apparently they are a fact of life in Texas. We didn't get stung. Some wee dried-out dead beetles accumulated at the front door, and they sometimes blew indoors when the door was open - we easily swept them away, and they didn't bother us in the least. Great location for easy access to Fredericksburg and the 290 wine trail, but nice enough you're tempted to stay put. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

The Ranch House Experience
When you think about a Ranch House, you might think "rustic." This large, beautiful house is anything but. The host has horse stables behind the house and there is plenty of property to roam. The host was super nice to us and our kids. The Fredericksburg area has a lot of different types of activities, including downtown shopping, many vineyards, and museums such as the Texas Rangers Heritage Center. The location is close to the major roads to get in and out of the area. Would highly recommend as an excellent get away.

Such a fabulous stay in Fredericksburg!
I stayed at the property with my husband and two teens. We had a fabulous time. Having the horses roaming the property was such an incredible treat. It was so peaceful. My teens set up the croquet game in the backyard and made smores in the firepit. Our favorite vineyards are all within ten minutes and Leroy's is right up the street for dinner...perfect location! Angela was so welcoming and had treats waiting for us upon arrival - a really nice touch! I've never stayed in a better stocked VRBO. The pans were even nice! There was everything we needed, without having to purchase condiments and spices and such for our short stay. We were able to use what they provided and had a fabulous long weekend. Highly recommend this property and will not stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg in the future!

Wonderful property and home!
Our family just stayed here and we’re very happy with our stay. There were four of us, including two teenagers, and we had plenty of room both inside and outdoors. Loved the back patio and fire pit. We also loved seeing the horses on the property. Angela is a pleasure to work with. She made a fresh zucchini bread and left some condiments in the refrigerator so we didn’t have to buy all of those upon our arrival. I’d highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved this home and the country living!
We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our anniversary and family time. Even our little Yorkies enjoyed the backyard and seeing horses and deers. We also love the fact we could sit outside to drink coffee in the morning and in the evening with the fire pit.

Our group of four friends had a wonderful time at this location. The location is perfect as it is close to Fredericksburg and also close to the wineries we visited. Perfect for a getaway
Angela's house was exceptionally clean and comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped for any type of meal prep. We especially enjoyed walking the lanes between the fields with our dog, watching the horses graze, and sitting at the outdoor patio. The location is perfect for access to Fredericksburg and all the Hill Country has to offer. Highly recommend Angela's home for your getaway!
