Really special place - wonderful river views from every window, without the rocking of a house boat! The living room is a bit small, but it has very comfortable furniture, terrific large glass windows/doors, and excellent TV + internet (over 30 mbps, better than ours at home!). The two bathrooms were also a very welcome feature, hard to find in a one-bedroom house. Very large and comfortable bedroom. We had a very relaxing time, and already miss the delightful river views and the instant, easy access to the wrap-around deck. The only thing I would change would be the ability to also open the left glass door to the deck, to let the breeze flow thorough the living room - maybe that will be fixed next time! Will definitely come back.
Wonderful water views!
Such a charming little boat house! Loved being surrounded by water and watching all the rowing crews. When we stay in Tampa again, we will not hesitate to stay here. Also, Lauren was very attentive and helpful with any needs.
Funky but fantastic!
The cabin is right on the river with views of downtown Tampa. Sitting out on the porch was fantastic and relaxing. We sat out all day during a rain storm and saw a manatee swimming by which was amazing! The bed was comfortable but was obviously used because it was worn lower on one side. The cabin was stocked with all necessities, except an extra blanket in the bedroom. It got pretty cold one night and the heater stopped running. The area where the cabin is located is a little run down but we never had any issues. The cabin is rustic and was clean as it can be for being as old as it is. The floors in the entry aren’t level, but not an issue either. It’s about a block from the water taxi and Rick’s on the River. Lauren was very communicative and accommodating. We’d definitely stay again when in Tampa.
Location is fabulous! Loved the views and river life. We saw a manatee swimming right by the dock one evening!
