• This is a 'No-Pets' house...sorry! No exceptions.

Our house is a mix of the ‘old beach-style’ and the ‘new’…most of the house is modern, beachy, light and airy but then we have the nostalgic old-Beach-cottage knotty-pine walls in the first-floor Living Room with a fireplace and overlooking the Bay. There is also a 2nd Living Room upstairs with its own TV for added privacy, peace and relaxation.
Our house has all of the usual comforts of home. The house is always professionally cleaned prior to our tenant's arrival and has a fully equipped kitchen.

Relax!!! At the end of your day on the Beach you can… lounge on the Bay front decks & enjoy the cool breeze while watching the sailboats & beautiful colorful sunsets, or relax with a good book and a cool breeze in the Bay front Adirondack chairs, or relax in the Hot Tub while looking up at the stars or the lights reflecting off the water in the cool night sky. Cook in the outdoor BBQ gas grill or take a short 3-block car ride to the restaurants and ice-cream parlors nearby.

Kids will NOT need entertaining! They will find it themselves…They have… the Bay/lagoon surrounding the house for swimming and playing in their rafts or they can go to the Bay Beach on 16th St (with Life Guards). And while at the Ocean (also with Lifeguards), they can go beach-combing, shell collecting, building sand castles, exploring, body surfing. They can go crabbing at the Bay on 24th Street (August only). Or drive them to miniature golfing, ice cream parlors, the Beach Haven amusement park with water slides. Or rent bicycles, a Kayak, a crabbing boat, jet ski’s…you name it.

The beauty of the North End of Surf City is not just the nice architecture (mix of old charming cottages with big expansive new architecture) which makes for wonderful romantic strolls with the family, but also that there is so much within walking distance. This part of the Island is the shortest walking distance from the Bay to the Ocean (just 3 short blocks) and only two slow 2-lane roads to cross for safe access.

Surf City is a peaceful, family-oriented town and the North end is a very convenient location. It is a short 3-minute drive to the Bay Bathing Beach for the kids (on 16th Street…see photo), to the nearby pizzeria's, ice-cream parlors, restaurants, gift shops, seafood store, corner meat market, corner family mini-grocery or a 10 minute drive to the Surf City Hotel & Restaurant, Lobster Claw Restaurant, Jason's Pancake House, Scojo's Sub Shop, How You Brewin Coffee Shop, Ocean Bay Super Market, Woodie's Burgers, Walter's Bicycle Rentals, Flamingo Mini Golf and many other activities.

NOTE: WE DO NOT ALLOW BOATS. This Property does NOT have a dock and we do NOT allow boats to be tied up to our bulkhead at any time, not even temporarily for loading and unloading. We are not set up for that and boats can damage a bulkhead seal with impact of boats on pilings from wave swells. Boats also present a huge liability that we do not want to risk. If you are looking for a house to bring your boat to, this is not the right house for you. We also do not have a ladder from the bulkhead to the water...those are dangerous and a huge liability and most important it is not needed because we have a much nicer and much safer way for children to get into the water to swim and play...down the access ramp in our sandy beach lagoon alongside the house.
