Villa on the beach, in front of the Doñana National Park

Villaluz is a manor house protected on the beach of Las Piletas de SanlĂșcar de Barrameda (CĂĄdiz).

Built in 1920 within the group of "villas" for the summer of the Sevillian court of the Duke of Orleans, it is inspired at the same time by the watchtowers, characteristics of the houses of "cargadores de Indias", and in the warehouses of ships with roof to two waters, typical of the "vineyard houses" of the Marco de Jerez and place of aging of the wine chamomile.
Its name includes the cult of the evening light of the Venus that the Phoenicians practiced 3000 years ago.
Villaluz is at the end of the promenade, where the Guadalquivir becomes the Atlantic Ocean, in front of the Doñana National Park (Biosphere Reserve) and at the foot of the Balsa, an ancient port to the Americas, origin and arrival of the first terrestrial circumnavigation ( 1519-1522), and today an anchorage of craft fishing boats.

SanlĂșcar de Barrameda is 30 minutes from Jerez de la Frontera Airport.

Las Piletas beach is the setting for the "horse races" that are held since 1860, in the month of August.
The historic center of SanlĂșcar has a rich real estate heritage, a testimony to its history, which highlights the architecture of the winery. The high district, with the castle of Santiago, its palaces and its cellars, contemplates the bustle of the Plaza del Cabildo or the fishing district of Bajo de GuĂ­a where you can enjoy varied tapas and seafood stews with horticultural products and fresh fish of the estuary.

The maximum annual temperatures rarely exceed 35ÂșC and the sea breezes make the nights peaceful and fresh.

Perfect place to enjoy Sanlucar de Barrameda

Concha’s property is a wonderful one hundred years old house located in front of the famous Coto de Doñana. You will be close enough to the town center as well as to other main hot spots in town like the restaurants in Bajo de guĂ­a ĂĄrea and Playa de las Piletas and Playa de la Jara. Great place if you want to spend quality time with your family. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Many thanks Concha for letting us stay at your home. We will always remember the summer of 2022 in SanlĂșcar de Barrameda.

A beautiful Villa with outstanding views over the beach and out to sea

A Beautiful Villa that had every home comfort, everything very clean and lovely hosts who gave us such a warm welcome and could not have been more helpful for the duration of our 8 week stay, We will certainly miss our evenings sitting on the garden terrace looking over the beach. Ein Traum wurde wahr...

In der "Villa Luz" fanden wir den Urlaub, den wir uns gewĂŒnscht haben. Einmal ĂŒber die Straße, und man ist am Strand. Der Ausblick auf die Donana, den Guadalquvir und das Meer ist unvergleichlich. Die Schönheit der SonnenuntergĂ€nge unvergesslich. Das Haus selbst verbindet den Charme alter Mauern mit moderner Technik. Die KĂŒche ist mit allen GerĂ€ten, jeder Art von Geschirr komplett eingerichtet und sauber. Die Badezimmer sind am neuesten Stand, und jedes Zimmer ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgerĂŒstet. Rund um das Haus gibt es einen schönen und gepflegten Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten vor, neben und hinter dem Haus. Im ganzen Haus und im Garten spĂŒrt man die Liebe, Sorgfalt und Pflege ihrer Besitzer. Die Besitzerin, Frau Concha Lazaro, wohnt im Anbau der Villa. Sie ist immer da, wenn man Fragen oder Anliegen hat. Unsere GesprĂ€che ĂŒber Geschichte, Musik und Flamenco waren großartig. Es ist ganz sicher, dass wir wiederkommen werden!

A beautiful house in a great location

We enjoyed a week in Villa Luz and appreciated all it has to offer: very comfortable rooms, a well equipped kitchen, a choice of terraces, and a lovely view. Also easy access to the town. Concha gave us a great welcome, and it was good to know she was on hand - although all our needs were catered for.

What a wonderful sun-break away from the cloudy north!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Concha's holiday home. It's just as lovely as what you see in the photographs. Our group of 6 people was very comfortable and Concha was such a delightful host. I particularly enjoyed the roof decks, well-appointed kitchen and large dining table, the garden, the views out across the beach, good wifi and the dark, quiet bedrooms. We slept and dined very well. The house itself looks out across the national park, and if you have binoculars, you'll spot lots of interesting birds and bats in the neighborhood. The village of SanlĂșcar has a good market and a very nice old botanical garden at the castle on the hill.

Excellent Property, Location and Host!

This property is in an excellent location next to the beach and only a short walk from the city centre and restaurants. The house is in impeccable condition, very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The owner was very friendly and provided helpful information about Sanlucar.Thank you! Overall we(2 couples) enjoyed exploring the Sanlucar area from this lovely property. We will return some day!

Nous étions 4 couples, la maison est trés grande, l'acceuil est parfait et tout est propre. Trois terrasses entourant la maison permette de ce mettre a l'abri du soleil quelque soit le moment de la journée. Le coucher de soleil sur le toit terrasse est exceptionnel. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Casa esplĂ©ndida y muy bien situada en un lugar Ășnico ,como es la desembocadura del Guadalquivir

Llena de luz y con estancias muy acogedoras.La habitaciĂłn situada arriba es un sueño y tambiĂ©n la casa tiene buena biblioteca para leer algunos libros excelentes. La dueña es fantĂĄstica,llena de optimismo y alegrĂ­a;te informa de los mejores sitios para visitar y tomar "cositas buenas".Te obsequia con una mermelada de naranja hecha al estilo inglĂ©s,exquisita. Los paseos por la mañana son muy reconfortantes y es usual ver jinetes a caballo.... Merece mucho la pena ir a SanlĂșcar y sobretodo alojarse en Villaluz. Nosotros ya tenemos ganas de volver

August in Sanlucar

Fantastic. The owner made us feel extremely welcome as we arrived late on Saturday evening and throughout our stay. A small problem with the wifi access was immediately rectified. The only downside but it is not enough for me to give this any less stars were the flies / mosquitos. We wanted to sit outside in the evenings but were getting bitten everywhere so if we were not eating out tended to close all doors and windows and put on the zircon. Overall, an extremely comfortable property, close not only to the Sanlucar beach but within a short driving distance you can be on some lovely sandy beaches (Costa Ballena, Chipiona etc) and in the evening you have the advantage of being in Sanlucar and not having to go very var to eat out.

Mit 8 Personen sind wir in die Villa eingezogen, 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern. Eine Ausstattung mit allem, was man sich wuenscht, die Lage direkt am Meer, der Strand nicht ueberfuellt, ausschliesslich spanische Urlauber. Eine liebevolle Gastgeberin, sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Vermieterfamilie ist sehr nett und jederzeit behilflich, falls Bedarf vorliegt. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und es ist wirklich alles vorhanden (wir waren 4 Personen). Praktisch sind auch die 2 FahrrĂ€der, mit welchen sich auch die Umgebung gut erkunden lĂ€sst. Der Stadtkern ist zu Fuss in etwa 15 Minuten erreichbar. ErwĂ€hnenswert sind auch die 4 Terrassen, auf welchen sich je nach Sonnenstand gut verweilen lĂ€sst. Preis-/LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis ist wirklich top – sehr empfehlenswert!

Super Ferienhaus - sehr zu empfehlen!

Super Ferienhaus mit viel Charakter und schönem Garten, das nur von einer kleinen Straße vom Strand getrennt wird. Das Zentrum des netten Ortes SanlĂșcar de Barrameda ist fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen und besticht u.a. durch seine zahlreichen Manzanilla Weinkeller. Besonders erwĂ€hnenswert ist auch die sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende und zuverlĂ€ssige Vermieterin. Wir waren mit zwei Familien (vier Erwachsene + drei Kinder) dort und hatten viel Platz. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen schöne Aussicht auf den Strand und die SonnenuntergĂ€nge. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Excellent accommodation and location- recommended

the house was spacious well equipped and very relaxing and contibuted greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday. The owners who live next door were delightful and very helpful. We were a three generation family and everyone loved Sanlucar -plenty to do lovely beach and excellent bars and restaurants. We also made use of the bicycles at the house which was an added bonus. Would love to go back.

Villaluz, es luz, que invade toda la casa hasta las maravillosas puestas de sol, muy bonita arquitectĂłnicamente y perfectamente ubicada. Se respira solera, elegancia y buen gusto combinados con los elementos decorativos, ademĂĄs de comodidad y funcionalidad que buscamos en unas vacaciones son elementos a destacar. Sus diferentes estancias, el jardĂ­n y las terrazas permiten hasta “la independencia” de la propia familia en un momento dado con un buen libro o simplemente el silencio de contemplar el mar. Agradecer a Concha que mĂĄs que “la dueña de la casa” ha sido una gran anfitriona proporcionĂĄndonos todo lo necesario, sus obsequios de bienvenida y su disponibilidad. Un placer haber disfrutado de la villa y por supuesto altamente recomendable.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft: sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden in dieser Unterkunft. Herrlich ist der Blick vom Balkon auf die FlussmĂŒndung, v.a. abends bei Sonnenuntergang. Sehr angenehm auch die verschiedenen Terrassen, ausgestattet mit bequemen Sitzmöbeln, die auch bei Wind, Sonne und Hitze einen angenehmen Aufenthalt draußen sichern. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist gut, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Stadtzentrum sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr angenehm die zwei FahrrĂ€der, die zum Haus gehören. Die Kommunikation im Vorwege war gut, der Empfang sowie die Betreuung vor Ort sehr freundlich. Das Preis-LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis ist gut.
