Fantastic, relaxing, romantic retreat

  • 5 of 5

Everything about our stay was wonderful. From the second we arrived to the moment we left, we were overwhelmed by Ryan's attention to detail in the cabin and in making every part of our retreat comfortable and luxurious. Even the rain didn't put a hamper on the weekend - the roof over the hot tub (especially with the sky lights) and the large porch were the perfect places to sit and relax as the rain fell all around us. The surrounding hiking was lovely, but we could have easily spent the whole time enjoying the cabin's amenities and been totally content. We've already recommended the place to several of our friends and we dearly hope we can come back in the near future. The five-hour drive from our Ohio home was worth every moment of our three day weekend. I would five out of five (ten out of five!) recommend this fabulous retreat. Thank you, Ryan!

Magical Property

We loved the Laurel Ridge Cabin!! My only disappointment was there is no mountain view when there are leaves on the trees.

Perfect setting in Nature.

  • 5 of 5

Awesome place to stay. The cabin has everything you need and all finishes are well done. The location is secluded and perfect for that get away from the busy life. There is plenty of walking trails near by on property and some with some great views. Also not that far away is the Mt Rogers area where there is more. Enjoyed the stay would love to come back in the future.

Luxtury in The Middle of The Woods

  • 5 of 5

Wow! We had such a great time that we extended our stay! The cabin was very comfortable from the chairs on the patio, the bed and bedding, shower, hot tub and the decor. The cabin actually has bark siding and moss growing on the roof; though it sounds rustic, it is very luxurious and beautifully created. Close to the Lincoln Theater, Appalachian trail, and must do Channels trail. Check out the fish hatchery and trail, see trout in the river. After all the trails you can rest and relax in the comfortable hot tub and listen to nature and if you're really quiet, you may see a deer (never got to see a bear). Close enough to town, but can also cook and hideout at the cabin and property. Worth a trip, you won't be disappointed.

In a word...spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

This was by far the best rental my wife and I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property was incredible. The unique quality of the craftsmanship, furniture, setting, shower, hot tub and everything else about this cabin, were fabulous. It was very convenient to Marion, Grayson Highlands, the Virginia Creeper Trail, Mt. Rogers and more. All in all, Laurel Cabin is a 5 Star retreat.
