Raffaela e Roberto purchased this House in 2016

What makes this House unique
the property is surrounded by a park of 2.000 meters with cypress, acacia trees and Mediterranean flora where time is marked only by the chirping of birds and the sun's path.

Raffaela and Roberto are wonderful hosts. They were very helpful during our stay and helped us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed returning after a day of sightseeing to swim in the beautiful pool and sit in the gardens.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We really hope you will come back soon to spend more time to relax with us.
Cheers Raffaela and Roberto
Lovely house close to Monteriggioni
This is a lovely house with use of the owners pool. The owners were extremely helpful and the house was reasonably well equipped. We loved being able to walk to local restaurants (we particularly loved Cantinale) and to the train station which enabled us to visit Siena. We saw some amazing birds, eagles, beeeaters and goldfinches over and in the garden.
The house is on the SP1 road and unfortunately this is quite busy, in particular in the mornings and evenings.
Thanks for your review. We were very glad have you as our guests. Hope to see you back soon. Cheers Raffaela
History and charm
For our first trip to the area this might have been the perfect place to stay for a couple nights. The house is managed by a wonderful couple that helped us at every turn with anything we needed. The property is rich in history, which the owners preserved through a tireless remodel. The grounds are meticulously maintained and if you're there at the right time of year you can enjoy a great pool. As we came late in season we did use the fireplace for additional warmth but don't worry, the wood pile is well stocked. We were 15 minute walk from Monteriggioni, 10 minutes to a couple really good restaurants and a grocery store. We were also a very short drive from Siena. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay a few nights in this area.
A beautiful place to stay and very friendly hosts; Roberto and Rafaella will do anything to make your stay unforgettable.
The house has everything you need and the pool is nice and beautiful.
Lots of nice places to visit in the neighbourhood.
I can surely recommend this Farmhouse!!!!
Marisca and her family were great guests. We're glad our guests have had a relaxing and unforgettable stay. We truly hope having them back soon. It will always be our endeavour to help our guests to have the most relaxing stay and enjoy all the treats our region can offer.
Great pool and garden
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely pool, garden and views. Spent most of time outside. Easy walking distance to Monteriggioni. Made very welcome by Raffaella and Roberto. Recently renovated property with more to come on the site. Lovely property and gardens.
The complex called Molino Bianco is located about 1 km from the castle of Monteriggioni that you can reach on foot or by bike along the bike path that runs along the property.
In the thirteenth century the Mill became the property of the fort Ghinibaldo Saracino, husband of Sapia of Salvani, cited by Dante in Canto XIII of Purgatory; the noblewoman would assist from the windows at the battle of Colle in 1269.
The castle occupies the top of a gentle hill from the slopes cultivated with vineyards and olive trees. It was founded in the second decade of the thirteenth century by the Republic of Siena, with the main aim of creating a defensive outpost against rival Florence, and still retains much of the thirteenth century structures. The walls and the structure of the village remained amazingly intact over time; it is designed as a unique place in the panorama of medieval towns in Tuscany.
The relaxed atmosphere of the place, the magnificent hills that surround it, the medieval structures still well preserved, thematic celebrations, are a rich mosaic of art, history and culture, in which dive to escape the chaos of everyday life and live strong emotions.
