Great views of the beach and in a good location

This property had everything you would expect in a beach condo. There are several parts of the house that have been updated and others that look original. Overall I would stay here again it is exactly what we expected!

What a view!!

Awesome location! Best place we've stayed on 30A in years, and at a fantastic rate. Clean and well thought out. Appears to be in the midst of a total remodel with all new everything apart from the upstairs bathrooms (but they were still fine). Beautiful. Thanks

Very nice with the renovations!

I was very happy with the accommodations. The new renovations (floors on main floor, paint, new deck wood, etc) were great! I also appreciate Haley (property manager) helping us out with WIFI issues. She took care of it quickly and was very nice to deal with on the phone on multiple occasions. The check-in/check-out process was seamless and we were even able to check in a little early which was nice. Beach was beautiful along with the weather!

No complaints. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mixed Emotions

This was out first time to stay in the Blue Mountain beach area. We absolutely loved this beach! It is close to great places to eat, shop, etc. The beach view is amazing! The beach is very family friendly. The condo had it's pros and cons. First this condo has SO much potential!!! So here goes.....Pros - This is a two story unit and it is laid out nicely. The owners have done a nice job updating the decor. The kitchen was well stocked. There were other supplies availlable to use which was nice. Plenty of linens and towels. Easy access to the beach. Nice combination lock on doors so no need to keep up with a key. The management of this unit were great to work with, as well. Cons - This is an older unit. The bathrooms are in need of new sinks, fixtures and all around UPDATING! Doors don't shut or stick from I am sure shifting.... The carpet may be clean, but it is stained in places which makes it look just dirty. Since it is on the second and third floor the floors creak and sink down in places. The floor tile is cracked and tiles loose in the majority of the kitchen which for little feet can be just like glass. There is missing grout all over the tile floor into the living area.... There are places that have not seen a mop or dust cloth in months or maybe years. There was an old mattress and rug padding stuck up in a nook that looked bad. Someone needs to clean the floor between the sink and refrigerator (NASTY)!!! I tried to ignore it, but just don't like filth. The patio decks are dangerous and old with nails sticking up and for tiny bare feet (which at the beach is a must) could easily get cut or splinters. This place has great potential, but still needs some work. I would not rule it out, but just be aware. But for me and my family we are still looking for that ideal spot that we want to return to every year.

Owner's Response: Great news! The unit has been updated as of January 2016 with new tile flooring, doors, vanities, new decks, sliding glass doors, paint etc! This condo is a true gem now with the upgrades!

Great views!

Amazing views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. The private beach access is just steps from the door. The complex is older, but the Gulf front location and the updates to the unit gave this townhome the wonderful beach feel we were looking for. We had everything that we needed with the bonus of being beach front. We've stayed lots of places on 30A but never right on the Gulf. That was a treat to be right there!! The property managers were outstanding and we were very impressed with the attention to detail they provided to make our stay relaxing.

Disappointed

The location of this rental is great, and the beach area is a wonderful family area. It is slightly down the road from some of the more commercial areas along 30A, but a really quick drive or bike ride gets you to many dining and shopping opportunities. We were very disappointed with the condition of the rental. It was not well taken care of and there were masses of dust in every area that has an opportunity to collect dust. When I went to close the blinds in the kids room for my daughter I was shocked to see the amount of dust. Even the doors were dirty. I have to admit that I'm quite particular with cleanliness, but these are things I think most people would notice. Most of it is fixable with a good deep cleaning, but the obviously dirty carpet upstairs and the cracking tile in the kitchen are things that just need to be replaced. I felt the need to wipe everything down or clean any kitchen items before using them myself.
