About the Property
2 bedrooms, 1 bath home with large fenced in back yard.
Two cozy, quiet bedrooms perfect for a sound island's sleep, and two distinct living areas for those preferring to staying up. These areas include a main living room, comfortably furnished, splashing oceanic colors and island styles, and an additional living area with comfy sofa, large desk area and an additional TV. The perfect vacation 'workspace'
So, if you have to work while staying on the Island, you have an office space separate from others.
The master is comfortably furnished with a new plush queen bed, 2 dressers and a TV. The guest room has two newer twin beds. The bath has been totally updated with all tile and beaded board, and ample storage for all your bath linens and toiletries.
The large deck, overlooking the enormous, fenced-in backyard, provides a great spot for outdoor dining, enjoying morning coffee or lounging around with afternoon cocktails. A charcoal grill is provided.
The quaint kitchen has new dishwasher plus all the basic necessities. The eat-in dining nook provides comfortable seating for 4-6 with built in bench seats.
Laundry room with full washer/dryer is located off the deck. All that is missing is the ocean, and it's just blocks away.
As the owner I do my best to ensure home is comfortable and inviting. You will find a supply of many basic items such as soap, TP, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry detergent. You will have enough coffee for at least the first few nights and there will be charcoal for the grill. I live locally and am in the home before every guest.
I am very accustomed to working with government agents stationed at FLETC. No problems with specific invoicing requirements, potential change in orders, variations in deposit policies, etc.

Some things that I would consider a 'must do' depends on how long you are here for. Exploring the Island by bicycle is one of the best ways to get familiar with your closest surroundings. Meandering through quiet neighborhoods is my favorite and this location is great for just that. Kayaking in the marshes is another favorite. You can take 2 or 3 hour adventures with guided tours thru the winding inlets. If you are here for a longer stay there are an abundance of day trips available. My favorites are Cumberland Island(accessible by boat), Little St. Simons(by boat as well), Okefenokee Swamp-awesome hiking or kayaking! Historic Savannah and St. Augustine are just a bit over an hour away.

About the owner: I am so blessed that I have lived and work on St. Simons Island since 1986. I try not to take the beauty of the Island for granted and appreciate my surroundings everyday. I actually work in property management but this little jewel of a home is my pride and joy. I live within a mile of the house and personally enjoy all this area has to offer from walking to the Village for lunch or dinner, meeting friends at Palm Coast for cocktails and live music or just enjoying the sunset from the pier. I hope you find the Island as charming and wonderful as I have found it to be.

I am not a condo lover. I enjoy the privacy of a home and puttering around the yard or sitting on my private deck space. Being in property management I understand the limited properties available with a fenced in yard for your furry family members. I hope my little home provides a venue for visitors to enjoy all the Island has to offer without having to leave any family members at home.
