Nice cabin with bare necessities

  • 5 of 5

You will not have Internet or phone service so plan accordingly. If you need wood (we did not), bring it, because you can't count on the two stores being open (pierpoint, camp Nelson general store). Nice base camp for family of four to explore local trails, stag tree, needles look out, Johnson lookout, dome rock. Come back to hot shower, soft bed, cold beer and roof over your head.

Very nice place for a vacation

This house is described just as expected. Nature is so beautiful. You definitely should go down the Ferguson drive to the Tule river. It's a very nice spot. Just 5 mins away from this home.

Quiet and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted to get away to celebrate his birthday and could not have been more pleased. The cabin is quiet and just what we were looking for. We sat out on the deck (with insect repellent in hand) and it was beautiful. A BBQ was offered as an option and while we thought about it, we went with simple food and not much prep although basics (coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, dishes and pots and pans) are provided. It made the weekend hassle free. It was the perfect weekend to shut down and forget everything going on an hour away. Leah is very reasonable in her prices and she does not get you with all kinds of additional fees. Her directions were perfect and her rules are pretty straight forward.

Thank you Leah for a great weekend accommodation

It was a very nice cozy spot!

Easy directions to cabin listed in the confirmation email. We arrived late in the evening so we couldn't see cabin that well. As we turned the lights on we noticed a cute little cabin perfect for a quiet evening. No tv, no wi fi... So my fiance and I had a great dinner, we brought food of course. Pleased to find that there was a selection of cook ware and utensils to make our meal. Woodstove worked great, bed was nice and comfy, didnt need much for blankets per the stove working properly. Big porch for sitting and relaxing and also for great night time views, we happen to stay during a full moon. Loop around driveway helps for our bigger truck to get around.

Thank you for having us,

We'll be back.

Lovely cabin and experience. Amenities plus!

  • 5 of 5

Ms. Walton is very professional, and everything she describes in her VRBO profile of this property is accurate.

The cabin was very comfortable, and well appointed. We used the stove, oven, full sized refrigerator and microwave, all of which worked perfectly. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and serve ware.

We also took advantage of using the very nice barbecue grill and had a terrific dinner. I must mention the comfy beds with freshly laundered linens (Yes! I'm a stickler and they didn't disappoint), as well as the pretty bathroom and the amazing water pressure which made for a relaxing shower at the end of a long day.

I can't say enough about our experience at Cozy Log Cabin. We will definitely be repeat customers.
