Small Cozy Cabin In the Woods
We really enjoyed this cabin. I was intimidated by the list of rules we received before our stay. But once we got their it made complete sense. You can tell that renters have abused the cabin and that the owner is trying update the cabin room by room. We did have trouble with the wood burning stover the first night. A previous renter closed the damper and their was no way to open it. The next morning we went to the tavern and used their phone to call Leah. She answered right away and had someone fix it ASAP. The only phone you can use is at the tavern, it free to use. The lodge no longer lets everyone use their WiFi, so their is none available. We had a great time and would rent this cabin again.
Awesome snowy weekend with family
The cabin was nice. Great price for the size. It was all we needed and a better experience because it snowed. Only issue was a few light fixtures didn’t work and I think the couch should be retired but wasn’t much of issue since we were prepared and took lanterns and spent some time hiking. If it’s gonna be cold when you visit, firewood is a must. Great over all experience.
Lovely cabin! Very clean and great host!
Great cabin for a quick getaway
The cabin is very cute and cozy. The fireplace works great and will warm up the cabin in no time (we didn't even need the heater). Leah was very responsive to all my questions and stopped by in the morning to make sure everything had worked out ok. Highly recommend it!
Cozy, quaint, and conveniently located inside of Sequoia National Forest.
The cabin was well furnished and had all the necessary amenities for a weekend getaway for a couple. It is located conveniently near several hiking trails and lookouts (Needles Lookout and Dome Rock).
Leah was an accommodating and responsive host.
Peaceful, quiet mountain retreat
The cabin was bigger than I thought it was! The deck outside was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. Be sure to bring lots of warm clothes if you're coming in winter and remember to bring more firewood than you think you need and you'll be fine. Leah was very friendly and informative.
Lots of beautiful Sequoia hikes 30-45mins up the road. This cabin is a perfect waypoint to mountain adventures!
