Great communication and location but listing is inaccurate and very dirty
The caretaker, Carine, was extremely kind and did everything she could to make us more comfortable. The location was great for us, the neighbors in the building all quiet and kind. Overall, we had a good time here and made the best of it.
However, it's worth clarifying, the house is a 1 bedroom. There are a set of bunkbeds but they are in the living area, not in a separate bedroom, that makes it difficult to use the living area if you have kids asleep. The house is in a degree of disrepair. The dishwasher electrocuted me several times because it is not installed properly (it's not grounded correctly). There are several broken or non-working items, light bulbs were out, the shower head is broken, etc. Also be prepared, there is no soap, trash bags, linens, nothing, so it's as if you are moving into a new house, not a VRBO. From what I could tell I don't think the apartment has ever been professionally cleaned, it was quite dirty. I've never stayed anywhere so dirty, in fact, in 25 years of traveling the world. There was hair, dust, cobwebs, everywhere. I strongly recommend to the owner that the home needs to be professionally cleaned. I would not consider the conditions sanitary as is.
