About Taylor & Yuko

Taylor - I'm originally from Oxford Pennsylvania though Arizona has been my home since 1997 and I absolutely love it! Cooking, gardening and reading are just a few of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I love to travel and am very friendly and personable and enjoy meeting new people from all over the United States and beyond. With that said, hosting is something I enjoy very much :)

Motto: " Live for today, Plan for tomorrow, and Learn from Yesterday"

Yuko - Born and raised in Japan until Junior High, went to High school and college in Tucson Az. Just started my apt in Fukuoka as rental , for I plan on returning to Arizona here in the near future, though Fukuoka will always be "home". Keeping my place there keeps me connected for when I return, Which will be 2-3 times annually. Very much a people person, and this Vacation Rental has been rather fun..:)

Together - We make a great team and We look forward to meeting more people via VRBO

Taylor & Yuko purchased this bungalow in 2014

Why Taylor & Yuko chose Tucson

This is the adjacent property to my private home, which has another casita behind it that we use as a vacation rental. So if this one isn't open, inquire about the other. With that said, We absolutely LOVE the neighborhood. You can't get any more centrally located to EVERYTHING to do in Tucson ! Close to U OF A, hiking golf, great restaurants, parks, botanical gardens, malls, downtown entertainment etc, while located in a well established quiet neighborhood that was built out in 1940's.

What makes this bungalow unique

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING WORTH DOING IN TUCSON, AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED FOR A LONG OR SHORT STAY!!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Taylor and Yuko are the BEST hosts! This was my 3rd time staying in one of their homes, I always feel very welcome there!! The house is clean, peaceful, and much better than staying in a hotel! I will stay in this house whenever I get back to Tucson. The neighborhood is very quiet and Taylor always makes sure you have everything you need!

Thanks for a great stay!!

Absolutly wonderful first VRBO experience in Tucson.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience using VRBO and it could not have been better. The cute house was exactly what we needed for our month long stay in southern Arizona and our host and hostess owners, Yuko and Taylor, where a wealth of information and suggestions and always available. We highly recommend this lovely property to anyone with a Tucson destination.

Tucson Casita

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving week in Taylor and Yuko's Casita and could not have felt more at home. The property lives up to the description (it's exactly as you see it in the pictures) and is clean and well-maintained. I received a call to welcome us shortly after arriving and was impressed with their concern for our comfort (very nice, friendly people). We did some hiking while there and couldn't stop raving about the beautiful mountain views. We enjoyed many of the great local places to eat but, if you're a breakfast lover like me, Bobo's is a must! (My personal favorite - went there twice). We will definitely stay here again when we make our next visit to Tucson.

Best Stay Ever In the Ol Pueblo

  • 5 of 5

Me and my family have travel to Tucson many times and stayed in lots of vacation rentals, but this one by far supersede them all. From start to finish the host were very accommodating, met us at the door upon arrival and answer any questions that we might've had regarding the house restaurants etc. we would come back here in a heartbeat and recommend it to others for sure. One thing I especially like is That the description of the property in the photos were accurate. The beds were comfy the kitchen was well stocked in the backyard was an oasis. The property is completely fenced in so Great for our small shin tzu.

Muy Bonita Casita

  • 5 of 5

Taylor was a great host and answered all questions we had. The casita was very cozy and clean and a home-away-from-home. It had close proximity to U of AZ which was wonderful for our needs. The nearby Whole Foods on Speedway was very handy for groceries. Great sites we visited in Tucson were Saguaro National Park East with a drive through loop, Biosphere 2, and San Xavier Mission.
