So relaxing & Beautiful
We had a wonderful time staying at your beautiful home. We would like to stay again some day.
Great spot for a relaxing get-together for all ages!
This was a great place for my family to stay in Tahoe. The location was perfect for all of us, including our dog. Clean, homey and comfortable, a unique property that holds something for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
Nice location, has enough kitchen utensils for 3 cabins, and smaller than you think
We stayed for a week with 7 adults and 2 kids. The location is fantastic! We enjoyed all of South Lake Tahoe from here.
We loved the outside area: fire pit has an usual fixture … would love to know it's history! There are plenty of comfortable chairs and even a ski lift swing that my grand kids loved. There was plenty of kindling and firewood. The grassy area is large and the dogs and kids ran around like crazy!
Your cellular plans won't work there. Only one phone had a bar (Verizon) even that was sketchy. There is a house phone but plan to print out all your info before you arrive so you can get onto the internet provided so you can open the door.
The house is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The living room is tiny but has 3 large recliners and a sofa. The kitchen is perfectly laid out and has almost everything you need. The two bedrooms with the queen beds are quite small and stuffy and hot in the later afternoon and early evening hours during the daytime highs of 90's+. We took the fan from the pool room to try to cool down the bedrooms and Debbie was able to ship us a fan by the 3rd night that cooled things down. These bedrooms share a small 3 piece bathroom (shower) . The master bedroom is quite large with it's own small bathroom which has a tub I swear is from the 50's, but in great shape, with a shower enclosure. The sink is nice and there's an antique vanity and shockingly low chair there with a mirror. The fourth bedroom is odd - there is a long skinny window with no covering that lets the blinding sun in the morning and a door to the outside with two twin beds. All of the beds are nice and comfy except these. They are old and stiff and very noisy if you are a light sleeper. The ceiling cants at an angle towards the window and its easy to forget when you stand up and hit your head. .
The pool room seems larger than the entire house and blocks the natural flow of air through the home that would cool it without the need for fans. The kitchen has a window view of it and the master bedroom has a sliding door to it. Everything you need is there including life jackets, toys, pool noodles and 3 beach towels. I think that frog lives in that room.
We used the BBQ and it worked great.
Great cabin, fully stocked kitchen, pool and hot tub a plus!!
We had an amazing time. The house was cozy and close to beautiful hiking trails. Not far from town to grab a snack or go for a dip in the lake. The indoor pool and hot tub were definitely a plus. House was a little outdated but functional. The only reason I won’t give it a the 5 stars was because the bathroom towels were old and smelly, but besides that great place!
Just what we needed....great experience. Note for others - despite the warnings in the house, I didn’t think bears were actually an issue.....until I saw a huge one wander through the neighbor’s unfenced yard.
Absolutely lovely and very relaxing place
This was a lovely place. Nice and quite and a really cool layout to the house. Plus your own private pool (although we did have a frog crash) My two year old had a blast swimming and running around the yard. The only things I didn't realize is this house does not have AC although honestly it is cooler up in the mountains so it wasn't really an issue.
