田園地帯の美しいノーマンの農家、Brayの美しく静かな村に3000m2の独立した独立した庭園があり、2013年に全面改装され、5つの広々としたベッドルーム、2つのバスルーム、リビングルームにはゴーディン・ストーブ、ダイニングルーム、ベランダ、大きなキッチン、庭園の家具付きテラス、魅力の多く、古い鍛冶屋が庭園に保管されていました。
周辺の村の多くのショップに近く、多くのハイキングコースがある森の中心部にあるフランスで最も美しい村のひとつであるLyons laForêtから15分です。

Beautiful just beautiful

The house and gardens were perfect for our stay with friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for recharging our batteries. Could not have asked for a nicer host. Oliver, showed us around and checked everything was OK at the end of our stay. Lovely restful break. Thankyou very much

Lovely Property

Quiet, cosy property in a very pretty area of Normandy. The dogs loved running around the huge garden and checking out the wildlife, particularly the hedgehogs. The log fire was especially welcome in the evenings. There are a lot of places to visit a short drive away and plenty of supermarkets for essentials, produce also sold at the local markets. Dog walking a few minutes walk from the property which was very handy and a forest a short drive away. Delicious pastries and bread from the local bakeries, my particular favourite. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Even better than pictures and word may describe

After a very warm reception by the landlord we had 2 weeks for enjoying the old farm building, which has been changed to a domicile by someone who knows to create a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. House and garden where equipped at the best of taste and perfect for two families with 5 children. In St. Lucien the kids had horses, cows, donkeys - and listened to cocks singing in the morning. Our landlord prepared a useful written guide to the surroundings - we followed some of his recommendations and always liked it. The next bigger town Lyons la Foret is a nice place to do some shopping or stay for a coffee at the old marketplace. Farmers in the neighbourhood make ther own Calvados and Cidre. A lot of castles and gardens nearby are ready for a visit on a rainy day - but the best thing was to stay in the garden, have a barbecue and take a deep breath of fresh air. Although one should never publish an insiders´ tip, we can only recommend house and facilities!

Très belle maison dans très beau cadre

Super séjour passé dans le gîte d'Olivier où il ne nous a manqué de rien. Olivier a été très arrangeant du début à la fin. Je recommande vivement !

Maison chaleureuse au calme

Nous avons passé un week-end très agréable entre amis/familles. Le propriétaire et sa voisine sont très serviables et disponibles pour répondre à toutes nos questions. La maison est vraiment très belle et chaleureuse et le coin calme et reposant.

Wonderful Holiday House in Normandy

Excellent House - plenty of room with 2 bathrooms and lots of space to just enjoy yourself - relaxing in the garden or lounging out on the comfortable sofas. Kitchen well supplied with cooking equipment. Lots of interesting things to do in the area - including some good markets. Approx 15 mins drive to the nearest supermarket. Never saw the host but all our communications were quick and informative. We were very happy here for our week in Normandy - totally recommended.

Fantastic!

My family enjoyed a fantastic stay at Le Gîte de la Forge. It is one of the nicest, cleanest and best equipped gites we have ever stayed in. Based on the photographs and previous reviews we were hoping it would be good - but it actually exceeded our expectations! The rooms are all very spacious and beautifully decorated. We instantly felt comfortable and at home. The garden is huge with lots of space for kids to run around and play. There are also several places to sit outside and enjoy peace and quiet. We would highly recommend this house and hope to revisit it one day!

Une adresse à retenir !

Nous avons passé un week end entre amis dans cette grande et chaleureuse maison. La maison est décorée avec soin, la literie est neuve et tout le confort moderne est disponible. Le jardin (enfin le parc) est exceptionnel et les enfants peuvent jouer à souhait. Nous reviendrons !

Tout simplement parfait!

Le propriétaire est disponible et prévoyant, sa magnifique longère est meublée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, extrêmement fonctionnelle et nous a accueillie (8 personnes) parfaitement! Les alentours sont idéals pour se promener en pleine nature (chemins, champs, forêt...). Bref, un séjour parfait! Merci! On reviendra...

Idéal pour un weekend

Charmante demeure normande décorée avec goût. Une grande cuisine fonctionnelle et de grandes chambres à la literie impeccable sont également très appréciable. Au beaux jours, le jardin, très bien entretenu, offre un moment de détente et de calme absolue. Enfin l'accueil de l'hôte et des plus chaleureux. Nous y reviendrons !

Relaxing week in Normandy

We (two couples and a dog) were on vacation (one week) in this beautiful, cozily furnished house. The garden is huge and has a fence around it so that the dog could run free at all times. The kitchen was completely equipped and generally everything one could possibly need - not only on vacation - was there. There are a lot of sights in the neighbourhood and trips to Rouen, the coast or one of many markets were easily decided on thanks to the extensive folder Olivier had arranged. Communication with the host was no problem and all our questions were answered immediately. All in all a lovely vacation in a gorgeous house, I can only recommend.

Un excellent week-end prolongé entre amis

C'est à l'occasion du week-end de la Pentecôte que nous avons pu découvrir ce magnifique gite entre amis (3 couples avec enfants de 8 mois à 5 ans). Après un accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire (qui n'a pas manqué de nous vanter les mérites de la région et des activités à faire), nous avons rapidement pu profiter de cet extraordinaire endroit ! Un grand jardin arboré et clôturé, parfait pour les enfants, accompagné de sa terrasse, parfaite pour les surveiller autour d'un petit apéritif, et on voudrait que le temps s'arrête. Il commence à faire froid, le temps se gâte, aucun problème ! On se retrouve à l'intérieur, dans une ambiance apaisante, avec une place pour tout le monde. Un espace laissé libre pour les enfants et leurs jouets, un grand salon pour se reposer au coin du poêle, un coin salle à manger avec cuisine attenante, tout a sa place. Les chambres et la literie sont de très grande qualité, c'est le repos assuré (modulo les enfants évidemment...). Bref, ne pas hésiter, à recommander.

Un séjour reposant

Je viens de passer une semaine très agréable et reposante avec mes 3 filles et une amie avec son fils. Le gîte est très agréable et fonctionnel. Il est décoré avec goût et tout est prévu pour que les hôtes se sentent à l'aise. Le poêle dans le salon est un vraie plus. Sa situation au calme permet de déconnecter mais aussi de visiter la région. Que ce soit le bord de mer ou Rouen et son patrimoine architectural riche. Olivier qui nous reçoit est charmant et à l'écoute de nos remarques pour encore améliorer le gîte. Je recommande vivement ce lieu.

Excellente adresse!

Je recommande fortement ce gîte très bien situé pour la découverte de la région entre Rouen et le bord de mer. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire qui donne de très bons conseils. Le confort et les équipements du gîte sont conformes au descriptif et aux photos de l'annonce. Gîte spacieux aménagé avec goût. Grand jardin orienté sud.Calme assuré. Il convient aux séjours en famille avec enfants et entre amis.

Chaleureux Weekend Normand

Nous avons passé un magnifique weekend prolongé dans cette belle maison Normande, nous étions 5 adultes et 2 enfants. La maison est très belle et très fonctionnel, le jardin est magnifique (l'été il doit être encore mieux). Le propriétaire est charmant et nous a donné des conseils sur les choses à voir et à faire dans les environs. Idéal pour se reposer et déconnecter. Nous y reviendrons tous avec plaisir.
