Owner info

Year Purchased: 2011

About the owner: My husband, Joe, and I are the homeowners. We have been in the construction business for over thirty years and have several rental properties. We located this cabin in 2011. The cabin was purchased and then completely remodeled. We began renting it out during the Spring of 2012. This is the only property we use as our second home and we stay there as often as possible. We love Pagosa Springs and the surrounding Mountains. The cabin is family friendly and a great place to make lifelong memories. We really enjoy hearing that our guests were satisfied with their stay at the cabin and we do everything we can to make that possible.

Why the Owner Chose Pagosa Springs, CO, USA:
Finding Pagosa & the San Juan National Forest is like finding paradise. Its wild, natural location takes you back in time to a slow paced life of simple pleasures and awesome experiences. The surrounding wilderness adds to the breathtaking beauty that captures your spirit when you arrive. The town is filled with specialty shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities, and you're just minutes away from millions of acres of natural forest and wilderness area.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The cabin has new major & minor appliances, new bathrooms, and new vinyl windows. It has new couches, new beds and bedding, and high-quality protective covers for the mattresses and pillows. The cabin stays comfy and cozy all year. It has baseboard electric heaters in every room, but the gas fireplace in the living room alone will keep the entire cabin warm in the sub-zero winter cold. All three bedrooms are connected to a bathroom which makes for convenient access. Unlike many of the other rental properties in Pagosa Springs, this cabin is located in a quiet, peaceful area with no highway noise. The neighborhood is safe and relaxing. The cabin is approximately 7,500 feet in elevation on a small hill near Lake Pagosa and is less than 5 minutes from everything in Pagosa Springs. There is a carport to keep snow, ice, and rain off your vehicle and belongings. There also is an enclosed back yard with a privacy fence for sunning, picnicking, and BBQs. The second story back deck balcony is a great place to sit and drink your morning beverage even if it's raining or snowing. The covered front porch makes it possible to get into or out of the cabin with ease while staying out of the weather and, of course, it has the classic front porch swing. There are tall Ponderosa Pine and young Blue Spruce surrounding the property. The cabin is our second home so it is fully stocked with everything you need (except for food, clothing, and personal necessities).
