We had a fantastic time a really superb character property in a private get away from it all setting. The local villages were wonderful with all the shops and restaurants that you could need. The property was spotlessly clean and everything was catered for no need to bring tea, coffee or washing powder everything was in the property we thoroughly recommend booking this property for a relaxing getaway.

A wonderful old house

It was a beautifully refurbished very old house . A pool to relax by and ideal for the children. A great gazebo to sit under but in full fresh air. Ideal for outdoor eating. Would highly reccomend it. Kind hosts. Thank you Ann and family

wonderful house in the green

we enjoyed a wonderful stay at this house. It is out in the green and very quiet. It was very clean und equipped with everything needed. The hosts are very friendly and kind and we could always call them when necessary. Our kids could jump in the pool, play ping-pong or ride their bikes while we could sit at the table and see them.

The house is beautiful and has literaly everything you need. Those who like to cook will not only enjoy the great kitchen, but also the plancha and BBQ. Witht the huge garden, the swimming pool, ping pong table and lots of games (indoor and outdoor) you don’t even have to leave the property to have fun. But please do, because the surroundings are magnificent! Thanks Christophe and Sylvie for the warm welcome and good care. We have to come back, one week was way too short.

Een mooi authentiek huis. Erg netjes en van alle apparatuur voorzien. Mooi groot zwembad en een buiten keuken (met BBQ en Plancha) onder een royale overkapping. Bedden waren goed stevig (maar niet te) en goed. Vriendelijke ontvangst met een heerlijke fles rosé! Veel privacy in een rustige omgeving!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine entre amis dans cette magnifique propriété au calme et très bien située pour découvrir cette belle région. Les propriétaires sont charmants, discrets et aux petits soins. Leurs conseils nous ont été précieux. Rien ne manque. La cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée, la propreté impeccable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le grand abri extérieur nouvellement construit et le super mobilier de jardin. Nous recommandons plus plus.

La maison est bcp plus spacieuse et plus jolie que sur les photos. Elle est est extrèmement bien équipée surtout la cuisine: mixeur, presse-agrume, cocotte-minute et des couteaux qui coupent!!! L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les joyaux de la région. Le soir on entend le blaireau dans le jardin et même un cerf bramer. Magnifique vue sur la voie lactée. Les propriétaires sont au petits soins. On recommande vivement! Das Haus ist viel größer und viel schöner als auf den Photos. Es ist wunderbar ausgestattet: Mixer, Toaster, mehrere Öfen (z.B. für Pizza), Entsafter, Dampfkochtopf und vor allem, Messer, die auch wirklich schneiden. Der Standort ist ideal um die Region zu erkunden. Trainierte Fahrradfahrer brauchen nicht mal ein Auto, höchstens zum Einkaufen. Unser Tip "la Grotte du Sorcier" gleich nebenan. Abends sieht man die Milchstraße in ihrer vollen Pracht und hört den Hirsch röhren. Ein Traum. Sylvie und Christophe sind sehr nette, unkomplizierte und sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber. Beste Empfehlung!!!

Ruhe pur

Ein sehr schönes altes Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und hatten genügend Platz. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt, selbst beim Grill kann man wählen. Der Pool stand uns komplett zur Verfügung und wurde täglich gepflegt. Die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten (Schlösser, Burgen, Parks, Höhlen ...) sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.Wandertouren können direkt vom Haus starten. Es ist eine sehr ruhige Gegend, das Grundstück mehrere Hektar groß, also der ideale Ort sich zu erholen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und sehr bemüht. Wir bedanken uns hiermit von Herzen für die schöne Zeit. Kerstin Kirschmann

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

Sylvie und Christophe sind überaus freundlich und hilfreich im Vorfeld, empfingen uns warm mit kleinen Gaben, einer Führung durch dieses wunderschöne großzügige Anwesen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, der Pool ist gut gepflegt, die Außenfläche ist riesig. Beim Frühstück wird man von freilaufenden Hühnern begrüßt. Gute Ausgangslage für Höhlenbesichtigungen, Kanutouren... Wir freuen uns, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen dürfen!

Superbe semaine au prieuré malgré le manque de soleil😅. Maison propre et spacieuse où rien ne manque des boites hermétiques à la baignoire bébé en passant par le mixeur. Piscine magnifique avec zéro vis à vis que le bourdonnement apaisant des abeilles dans les lavandes environnantes. Des hôtes formidables au petits soins (concombre du jardin et oeufs) sans être envahissants. Avec des invités de prestiges les poules et coqs de la famille😂 Bref réservez vite. Merci sylvie et christophe pour cette semaine de rêve.

Another great vacation

We spent our third holidays in this house this summer, so we obviously like it very much. The house continues to be in prime shape, well equipped and maintained. The pool has been renovated very beautifully (not that it was necessary) since our last stay in 2019. The house is situated ideally in a small hilltop hamlet between Les Eyzies and Le Bugue, so there are interesting sites to see all around. In addition to the usual program of stone age caves and medieval fortresses, plus kayak trips on the rivers and great food, we discovered this time the possibility to book horseback rides through the woods at the nearby Domaine des Eymaries stables (even for absolute beginners like us). Last not least, the landlords Sylvie, Christophe and their family were super friendly and helpful as always.

Nous remercions beaucoup nos hôtes, leurs parents pour leur gentillesse et toutes les attentions qu'ils nous ont apportés ainsi qu'à notre enfant tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons tout apprécié, la très belle maison, le calme, le jardin à perte de vue, la piscine, le barbecue, les équipements de la maison, la proximité des sites touristiques pasionnants et très nombreux , le poney club tout proche, l'accueil, les excellents oeufs des poules de nos hôtes. Nos filles continuent de se souvenir de l'anecdote du cerf qui a fait tomber la noix et des poules se promenant paisiblement autour de la ferme au petit déjeuner. Auch beim zweiten Mal wunderschön

Wir waren diesen Sommer zum zweiten Mal hier, weil es uns letztes Jahr so gut gefallen hat, und haben es nicht bereut: hier stimmt einfach alles, das schöne alte, aber bestens renovierte und ausgestattete Haus in ruhiger Lage, der große Garten mit noch größerer "wilder" Wiese dahinter (wer leise ist, kann nachts Hirsche beobachten) , der gepflegte Pool, die sehr netten Gastgeber, die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung (Steinzeit, Mittelalter, Paddeln, Wandern und viele Leckereien in Restaurants und auf Nachtmärkten) und, und, und. Wir würden uns freuen, bald wieder hier Urlaub zu machen...

Excellent family holiday

Sylvie & Christophe are welcoming and friendly with English so much better than our holiday French. The gite is set in lovely countryside, charming and well equipped, but not overly fussy so you can relax with small children without worrying about the odd dropped croissant. The grounds are huge with plenty of scope for ball games and ideal for kids bikes. The pool is well guarded with plenty of loungers and parasols, easy steps into the shallow end. Its location is ideal, for Les Eyzies & Le Bugue for shops and food, easy reach of most attractions in the area. The chickens have the run of the grounds and are amusing. We had a very good stay.

Nous avons passé de bons moments dans ce magnifique endroit, particulièrement bien situé pour visiter les vallées de la Dordogne et de la Vézère.
