A fantastic gem of a property, the photos do not due the property justice, it must be experienced to be appreciated. This was our first trip to this island and were unsure what to expect. Suffice to say any expectations we had of the property were exceeded. No detail is left to chance, from toiletries to floats for the the pool. Kay and Paul were generous hosts that ensured we had all we needed and were there to answer questions and educate us on the island and especially the foliage. Is there anything better than a swimming in a semi-private pool with the wafting scent of plumeria in the air? Bonus watching the colorful lights of those swimming with the manta rays in the evening. Even amidst volcanic activity and uncertainty this oasis was a wonderful place to find rest.
Romantic spot combining comfort and waterfront view with a central location which feels personal and
Highlights also include view of waterfront from bed, lanai, pool, lawn and rocky beach. Very close to Sheraton Hotel Manta Rays and water excursions from their inlet. Shopping very close. Convenient access to top snorkeling locations at Capt Cook monument and Two Step. Privacy is well done with two walkout units and owner above.
Don’t pass this gem up
Looking for a private location with a beautiful view and the beach in your backyard, this is it! This was our first time on the Big Island and using VRBO. We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a great spot away from the busy downtown area but not to far from everything.
Absolutely breathtaking and relaxing
Everything was just as we imagined and more! The house was great, the pool refreshing and the views were out of this world. Paul and his wife were amazing hosts and we hardly ever saw them unless when we needed something and they were right there to help! We loved being able to come home every day after long adventures and unwind next to the beach or the pool. Everynight we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and slept so good. We would definitely stay with Paul again and hope to in the future! Thanks for a memorable vacation! -
The BEST VRBO we have stayed at. Beyond all expectations.
Paul and Kay are the nicest, most attentive (not overly though) hosts we have ever had during a trip. The vacation rental is impeccably clean. So much thought went into our every possible need for our visit. All amenities are provided. Beach accessories are right there in the closet along with a nice cooler for snacks and lunch on the go. Laundry available right through a door. There were even board games in the cupboard in case the weather was poor...in Hawaii. 😉 The best island travel guide is also available during your visit. Great location. Walking distance to a lot but completely away from the tourist chaos.
We can’t wait to return.
Wonderful setting with beautiful views of the bay
We enjoyed the well maintain property with the perfect host Paul and Kay.
this property is less than 200 feet from the water's edge and overlooks He'eia Bay in Keauhou, Kona, giving you a spectacular view of the most beautiful bay in the area.
