Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.
Hair Dryer: There is a hairdryer in the bathroom
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: Parking for one car in a reserved parking stall. One additional car allowed on a first come, first serve basis in unmarked/visitor parking spot. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.
Swimming Pool: Community Swimming Pools onsite (3 Pools)
Hot Tub: Community hot tub
Tennis:  Tennis Courts onsite

Air Conditioning: Yes, central air conditioning throughout.

Kanaloa 801 is located on the first floor in Building 8 at Kanaloa. There are a few stairs leading to the front door..  Your perfect location for an amazing Big Island vacation!

Kanalaoa is a beautiful and well maintained gated condominium community in the Keauhou Area of the Big Island of Hawaii.  The Kanaloa Community is situated along the ocean.   Located south of Kailua-Kona town on the ocean in the heart of Keauhou. Amazing beaches adjacent to Kanaloa and within a few miles.  Keauhou Shopping center with grocery shopping and restaurant also witnin a few miles.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

Nice property and in a very good community and location. Plenty of towels, sheets an very comfortable bed. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance we could think of. Although, some utensils were old and could use an upgrade. The cabinetry and furniture are a little dated. TV in the bedroom wasn’t connecting to WiFi so was unusable.Overall, a good property and would definitely recommend.

Great Island Getaway

Check in was easy. Straight forward instructions for using the key pad. The kitchen was spacious and I had every pot, pan, utensils I needed. My 8yo enjoyed making smoothies every morning with the blender provided, so that was a plus.

Beautiful golf course view

We enjoyed the view of the golf course and the ocean side pool. The location was quiet being away from Ali'i drive. It was a reasonable drive to restaurants and beaches. The ice maker wasn't operable so ice cube trays, a minor annoyance. One of the other units was tented and treated for pests while we were there. Assuming we'd have been told if there was any danger. We love Hawaii and liked this property. .ewere there.the other

Kona Experience with great location

Kanaloa is a community resort feeling along the ocean front with spectacular sunsets. The one bedroom condo is located near the adult quiet pool and hot tub. A 1/4 mile walk up the volcano to the Keahoe shopping center with a variety of retail shops, restaurants, grocery outlets along with movie complex. A great Saturday morning Farmers market.

Always a win at Kanaloa

This is a very large, very nice condo, perfect for two! Appreciate the beach supplies, appreciate the AC and W&D. Keypad front door is helpful too. Really love this complex and the three pool options. Only thing that would have made it more comfortable would be more private blinds in all rooms since it’s a ground floor complex. The blinds are still see through at night. Also it’s close to the parking lot which was noisy at times. Not a game changer tho! Would stay again!

Gorgeous Kona

We stayed here for two weeks without any issues at all. 3 pools in our complex with one being ocean view. Easy access to the main roads. The main thing is the contact between us, VRBO and the complex always making sure we were happy and that everything was going smoothly. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to relax!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff great location. Beautiful grounds. The 3 pools are a plus. We would stay here again only downside is the uncomfortable sofa pull out mattress. The bed was amazing tho. And couch not so bad when not pulled out. Mahalo!

We enjoyed the unit and the people we met at this complex. The complex had construction going on and so it was very loud to sit out by the pool and relax. They also had several units being worked on above our unit which was unfortunate.

Enjoyed the stay

This was a last minute rental and it came in very handy. The only problem was the upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy. We have always enjoyed this area on the Big Island.

Pleasant and convenient

I booked this accommodation for a conference at a nearby hotel. I enjoyed it very much, the unit was clean, well appointed and very comfy. I especially liked the parking to front door convenience. I would most definitely book again if available. We had email contact with manager which provided clear check in instructions and they were delivered in a timely manner with a reminder cntaining the same information on the day we arrived, this was very helpful not having to scroll thru my inbox to find the message standing at the door in the dark. Very thoughtful.

Perfect get-away.

Old Hawaiian feel in a beautiful, well-maintained oceanfront property. Calm, mellow and relaxing. We are coming back in 4 months with our adult children and will be returning to Kanaloa Resort. Walk to the Outrigger for drinks, dinner and night-time viewing of the Manta Rays, stroll through crystal clear Keauhou Bay and its rich cultural history and significance, walk to Kahalu'u Bay for snorkeling, surfing and sunbathing. There is a new cultural center/park going in and we cannot wait to experience it. Easy walk to Keauhou Shopping center for bars, restaurants, Farmer's Market and more. This is a nice slow paced property. A little older, but clean and charming and that is what we loved about it.

Beautiful Stay

Loved loved the location. The ocean side pool was great because you felt like you were right on the ocean. The condo was perfect for the two of us. Loved that we had a small cooler, some chairs, umbrella to use while we were there. The property was a central location for everything we wanted to do. It was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved that a grocery store was just up the block in walking distant . Would definitely would stay there again.

Stellar Hawaiian rental

The property was very nice close to the quiet pool and best of all the air conditioning actually worked and worked well. The amenities were great and everything you would need to stay there and go to the beach and do other activities throughout the island were available right there to you. Great place, except for the bugs

You’re very excited to stay at this location. Location is beautiful and inside is actually pretty amazing. We did run into a little check-in snafu… And Ingrid was amazing at helping us get things sorted out. She is a true rockstar! At the same time there were cockroaches in the refrigerator and some bugs throughout the house the entire time we were there, we dealt with someone else tomorrow because Ingrid was unavailable and that person wasn’t as helpful and kept blaming things on the rain as for the reason of all the bugs. We were not going to make a review about it but the way she handled it was not awesome , so bring your own bug traps and have a great time.
