Perfect mountain cabin
It was everything we expected from the pictures and more. Description and photos should be updated since they have a new refrigerator and the cabin is three bedrooms plus the loft. Cabin is secluded for privacy but close to town for meals out or getting to wolf creek. There is nothing quite like the postcard view while you make breakfast, the view is simply incredible. One of the best things about the cabin is you can't see another cabin from it unless you try. The view looks like you have your own private river valley. We also enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife, including red fox on two mornings.
Great family vacation!
Loved the cabin. Remote location, but close to town. Great river access (it's quite a hike to get there, but worth it). Would love to come back....
Perfect place. A great family vacation.
Relaxing and quiet with a beautiful view!
We absolutely loved it! Overlooking the San Juan River in the valley was beautiful! Our 3 daughters loved the house and the grounds. We enjoyed the hike down to the river and back up! The cabin itself was wonderful with the open living room with a view and the upstairs rooms were great! The owner was available for any questions. Close to town but felt miles away from everything! Only drawback was no A/C but we're from Texas so we're used to our A/C!! But the cabin was cool and the open windows in the evening and overnight really cooled it down. We would absolutely stay again!!

Beautiful view and cabin was clean and cozy!
We enjoyed this cabin so much! The view was beautiful! (We hiked to the river, we made it just fine but probably not accessible for everyone, it's pretty steep and rocky.) The cabin is clean and cozy!!! Very nice!!! We'll definitely be back!
Pagosa Springs is home to many music festivals in the summer months, including one of the largest folk festivals in our area. There are always festivities and craft fairs in the town park along the river walk along with live music. When its really hot out, you can rent tubes in town to float down the San Juan river, or take a fly fishing class. In the winter months just a hop skip and a jump away from this cabin, is one of the best ski areas in the state, Wolf Creek. You can rent skis, skates, or snow sleds at several of the local businesses in town.
