The beds were fantastic, I was able to get a full night's rest every night (which is rare in a rental).Sitting on the couch with the view of the cove was fantastic, we could see the whales from the kitchen while prepping food for the family. The windows are all upgraded and the bedrooms has AC or dehumidifiers to help keep the temps even regardless of the weather. Honokeana cove has a huge turtle population so book this if you want to see lots of turtles and wildlife!

Awesome

The property was excellent! We were just a few steps from the ocean and snorkeling with sea turtles. We enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend this to others.

Amazing

The property was well appointed and the access to the pool and cove with amazing marine life is as good as it gets. We have stayed at various ocean front places in Maui but this is our new favorite and hope to return soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful resort. Right on the water with great snorkeling and TURTLES!! Our ground floor unit had great access to the pool, bbq’s and beach. Would definitely recommend, just watch out for the bird poop from birds that roost in the tree every night!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 109 was a wonderful 2 bdrm unit. Many updates, very clean and roomy with a spacious deck just yards from the pool, BBQ's and wonderful grounds. The view is that million dollar view or maybe we should 'up' that amount.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amid the busy west Maui coastline, filled with resorts and homes, we were very happy to find this small gathering of well-kept condos with the most amazing snorkeling just a few steps from our balcony! Here we were very comfortable, the other renters were friendly and welcoming and we were close to many sites and beaches. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Maui!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honokeana Cove is a very special place. The people who manage the property are exceptional. The grounds and condo units are immaculate and everyone feels like family. Don’t come here if you are looking for a fancy high rise condo experience. It is rather a home away from home in beautiful Hawaii. We keep coming back.

Fantastic stay in a lovely place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, daughter, sister and I spent another couple weeks at Honokeana Cove and had a great time. The atmosphere there is chill and friendly, especially around the BBQ's at night. Snorkeling and turtle watching are a lot of fun. There are tidepools to be explored at low tide. And the sunsets are just magnificent. Our unit was clean, very well-appointed and maintained. Thanks for everything!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is perfect for our family. The rental and property manager are easy to work with as well as the place is kept perfectly. The only warning is the units do not have air conditioning and inside this unit was steamy and humid during this time in June. I was unaware there was no air conditioning until arrival.

VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2022 年 7 月 19 日)

Aloha Carissa, Thank you for your comments. Back when you made your reservation, along with the confirmation, we sent you an email in regards to new guests ,explaining what we have at the property and what we do not have. At that time you sure wish you had checked us out thoroughly before following through with the reservation. We have very few units with A/C so when you book your next stay at the Cove, give us a call and we can steer you in the right direction to a unit that will suit your needs. We take pride in making sure everyone has a good time while you are here. Book early in order to get the right unit for you. This unit is one of our best 2 bedroom units at the Cove. The owners take good care of updating when needed. Mahalo, su

Epic Maui with a couple cautions

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth year at Honokeana. For the last several years we’ve booked the same unit because it works so well for our family. The location and access to wonderful snorkeling is incredible. A 10 on a scale of 10. That said, this is a “family” vacation resort circa the 1960’s/70’s when it was built. It can be noisy with lots of kids and adults having a good time. And...it is expensive. We paid $450/night which included taxes. Overall though, you won’t be disappointed by Honokeana with a few cautions.

VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2022 年 7 月 8 日)

Aloha Gary, The Cove has it's many "flavors". sometimes there are lots of families with kids and other times it is the older crowd; a bit quieter. So when booking, choose your "flavor". You can call anytime to ask for advice. I will be honest with you because I want all of our guests to be happy. We will see you next number six! mahalo, su

Honokeana Cove Rental Pros & Cons

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the complex and our unit was as advertised. We had a great 7 nights here with 2 other couples. Our unit was clean, well maintained and furnished. For two couples sharing, it was just a bit tight for space but very comfortable. This unit has some pros and cons. Pro: Shaded from direct sun and overlooking the pool but off to the side. Perfect in that regard. Loved watching the sunrise on Molokai from early-morning perch. Con: This unit catches noise from the street, the gate entrance, and the kids who live next door. Also, no AC is a deal-killer for us.

Awesome

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I at last minute extended our stay on Maui for five nights. I'm surprised this unit was open and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is great with very friendly management and staff. The unit was clean and in excellent condition. Our only complaint is it gets a little warm with no a/c. Not terrible, but if I lived there permanently I would install a ductless a/c system. At the very least if it had a screen on the front door it would help tremendously to move the air. Having to have all the windows wide open at night then leaves you more vulnerable to the road noise. Enough bitching though! We loved this place and will return!!
