Bara ombyggda med ny färg, nya mattor, möbler och mer - jag hade besökt den här enheten både före och efter renoveringen, och wow, ägarens erfarenhet av att hantera deras exceptionella semesteruthyrning på North Shore visar verkligen i de besökarfokuserade slutpekarna här!

Kihei Resort 209 är en bra lägenhet för människor som vill undkomma de trånga orterna, men ändå vara belägna några minuter från de bästa stränderna i Maui. Denna lägenhet hålls noggrant ren, och ägarna bor på ön och är mycket proaktiva och lyhörda för underhåll och gästbehov.

Centralt beläget och på gångavstånd till två stränder. Komplexet är omgivet av trädgårdar och är helt icke-turistiskt och lågmäldigt. Enheten i sig är ren och bekväm, och ombyggnaden inkluderade massor av helt nya föremål förutom möbler, färg, inventarier och mattor - du hittar alla nya sängkläder, handdukar, disk, små köksapparater, TV, takfläktar, strandtillbehör, och listan fortsätter.

Enheten är belägen långt från South Kihei Road, så du har inte gatorljudenheterna längs vägen. Parkering är reserverad och en kort promenad genom frodiga tropiska trädgårdar till enheten.

Stränder tvärs över gatan
Det finns två stränder tvärs över gatan som båda ligger utanför radarn för de flesta besökare. Waipu’ilani Beach är en lång vit sand och korallstrand skyddad av rev. Kalepolepo Beach Park, i norr är orörd och är platsen för Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary inlärningscenter. Det är också hem för kulturellt betydande och den mest tillgängliga gamla Hawaiian fiskdamm i Maui. Båda är fantastiska stränder för bekvämlighet för när du vill fly folkmassorna, äta middag eller dricka medan du tittar på solnedgången eller slå upp en jordnära konversation med en lokal familj.

Kihei Resort ligger nära butiker, stränder, restauranger och butiker. Monsoon India ligger tvärs över gatan vid Menehune Shores, och det finns också tre olika köpcentra inom en mil.

Andra intressanta platser: Strandskridskobana och skate park är 2 miles, Cove Park (bästa platsen för surfundervisning) är 2. 40 miles, Kamaole Beach Park är 2. 5 miles, Keawakapu Beach är 3. 75 miles, Wailea är 7 km, Big Beach / Little Beach är 8 miles. Flygplatsen ligger 15 mil.

Egendomen
Kihei Resort är ett bostadsområde i trädgårdsstil byggd runt omsorgsfullt underhållna vackra tropiska trädgårdar och vattenfunktioner i en innergård. Det finns en liten och typiskt obekväm pool (de tre gånger jag har varit där har det varit mellan 0 och 1 användare där.)

De flesta enheter är bosatta ockuperade, så det är ett utmärkt alternativ om du inte är intresserad av den alltför turistiska saken och skulle vilja blanda dig med vissa lokala invånare i Maui. Invånare på Kihei Resort njuter av trädgårdarna och chattar, så du är säker på att träffa vissa invånare som är angelägna om att dela sin kunskap om Maui med dig!

Overall a nice, clean condo

We arrived a little late and it was dark but luckily the lockbox was right on the door making it very easy to get in. Upon first appearance it was very clean and nicely put together. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking and everything worked as it should including the washer and dryer as well. The beds were decent with clean linens and plenty of towels for a family of four. The window shakers are a little loud but worked and kept the condo cool. Grounds of the condo were very well maintained and kept very nice. Overall a decent, affordable condo - I don't know how new it is as advertised as everything seem worn and used (for quite some time) but it was decent and everything worked. One issue however I was very unhappy to have to find out last minute right before we were leaving to Maui that we would have to leave early in the morning due to them fumigating the buildings in the complex. They said they found out last minute which doesn't seem to make much sense as tenting a whole complex would take some time and planning. The pool was also closed for a couple of days which was one of the main amenities I was looking for when looking for a condo. These might not seem to be a huge factor for some however when you've traveled a long way and saved your hard earned money for a trip to Maui, you want everything to be perfect l. Not having use of the pool and having to wake up and leave early on our last day was not a pleasant and rushed due to this "last minute" issue per management. Sounds more like poor management to me.

This could be a great unit, if not so flirty! Stop taking reservations, thoroughly clean & remodel

10 mins after we checked in, housekeeping was using the extra key to enter. I greeted her at the door asking how can we help her? she stated she left some sheets in the dryer and told us our check in time was at 4pm. My husband show her our reservation, which stated 3 pm for check in. Ok, not the worst part of the stay! Once, house keeping left we started to unpack this unit was so filthy. I felt like going back to Costco to buy cleaning supplies to clean the entire apartment from top to bottom! The wall behind the trash can had drippings of old food stuck on the walls, the down stairs bathroom has black mold around the chalking of the tub, the bathroom light in this bathroom has rust around the covering. The kitchen counter has a chunk missing, the area rugs in the living room and downstairs bedroom needs to be replace it was very disgusting. Blinds are missing half the slats in the middle, floors are peeling up, the smoke dector is hanging from the ceiling, carpet going up the stairs have stains. The upstair’s bathroom shower doesn’t have enough water pressure for a shower, light fixture in this bathroom has dead bugs inside of it. The bath towels, pots and pans and beach chairs , umbrella look like they came from someone’s garage sell. The closet where the beach supplies was kept is dirty. The sofa also had spots on it, we sat on towels the entire stay! Walking on floors are feet was very dirty. This property owner does not invest back into their property.!

Kihei vacation

This property was just as pictured and had everything we needed for our stay on Maui. We appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen so we could make a few meals while we were there. The resort is very quiet and peaceful and in a great location for day trips to other locations on Maui, like Hana or the national park.

Amazing condo with everything you need :)

A group of four friends stayed here April 2019. Place was immaculate, as were the grounds of the resort. Beds were super comfy, air con worked fine, was a little noisy but didn’t bother us at all. Lovely hot showers and really handy having the two bathrooms. The place had heaps of beach essentials including chairs and an early which we used. Kitchen had lots of sauces/salts/oils, basic items that others had left so we used them. I 100% will be back and absolutely loved my stay in Kihei. Thank you!!

Perfect Location in Kihei

A well equipped condo, from sand toys for the wee one, beach chairs for the adults, beach towels for everyone to a very functional kitchen. The layout of the condo was great in that everyone could have their privacy should they want plus a great room for gathering in. The balcony though small had a great view of the tropical gardens It was just a few steps to the pool, which was very well maintained, or a quick walk across the road to a beach with calm waters. The condo was very clean upon our early afternoon arrival. All in all, a pleasure

Kihei condo

The unit was nice size and met our requirements. The beach stuff was nice to have while visiting the gorgeous beaches in south Maui. The surrounding gardens were beautiful and the pool was clean and well appointed. The down side of the condo was the lack of A/C in the lower bedroom. The lower bedroom did have a ceiling and a pedestal fan. The A/C unit in the gathering room was only effective in the bedroom if the door was open which compromised your privacy as well as no door on the lower bath sink area. The loft area was comfortable since it had an A/C unit and a ceiling fan that was not working at the time of our stay. The lanai was only usable on the right side when using the A/C on the first floor because the discharge air from the A/C unit made it unbearably hot to sit anywhere near it. There were a few maintenance issues that we wished were resolved but the maintenance contacts were not available and never returned our call. The upstairs switch for the stair lighting was broken so the stairs could not be illuminated. So someone would have to turn on the loft lights before you could turn off the downstairs light in order to light your way. As mentioned the loft fan would try to turn but just couldn't do it. The most glaring issue is a safety problem. The ceiling lights for the loft were approximately 3 feet above the bed with exposed wiring. even though the wires are not bare they still pose an electrification hazard. I know not to touch the wires but how do you stop an inquisitive child. The electrical code calls for boxes to be used in this and the ceiling fan applications. I am not the electrical inspector nor am I here to call out violations but I feel I must bring this to mind to prevent someone from being harmed in any way.

Nice, affordable family experience

My husband and I rented this condo for a reunion with our son and his young family, and it worked out very well. It was a central location and offered a pool as well as beach access right across the street. We were able to see a lot of the island in six days.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice, clean condominium well located in Kihei. Two couples with very small kids were comfortable. We enjoyed the lanai and BBQs and were impressed by the cozy feel of the condo. AC worked fine and we had no issues. Great stay.

Nice, clean, centrally located, would stay here again! It's a 2 bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room, perfect place to stay if you want to go site seeing and want to be centrally located.

Maui Adventure

We had a great stay at #209, everything within the condo worked great! The parking spots were a little snug, we suggest a smaller vehicle if renting is an option. The pool closed down for the second half of our stay but we were warned beforehand, and swimming in the ocean was still a viable option.
