Very relaxing place in amazing settings
We (family of 2 adults and a 7 and 9 year old) spent 2 weeks in this beautiful farm house and had a very relaxing time. For one week the grandparents also joined us - there was plenty of space in the house for 6 people. The house itself was very clean and spacious and had all the facilities you need. The garden and pool was great, we swam several times each day! We also enjoyed feeding the animals and collecting eggs although there was no pressure of having to get involved in the farm. Toni is a great host, very welcoming and friendly. I felt I could always ask him about anything and he told us about the area and useful information about places worth visiting, buses, restaurants etc. Toni came by every day and always was very friendly and would say hello but let us do our own thing. I have read reviews about other places where the host is always around and interfering, Toni was nothing like that at all. We had complete privacy and the place is quiet at night ( apart from some animal noises ). Very good if you want to switch off. The views are amazing in every direction and having every meal al fresco was fantastic. I would very much recommend this property.
We had a great stay here. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children. The house was lovely. It was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There are fans in all the rooms which helped during the very hot weather. The outside space is great, the views are exceptional in all directions. The pool is good for cooling off and is very clean. There’s loads to do in the local area. We enjoyed using the bikes to cycle to Sóller, there is a bus stop outside the house too. The local shop is a farmer’s cooperative, great food and wines.
Toni is a fantastic host, he is there to care for the animals every day and gave us good advice on things to do and where to eat. He even arranged for us to go out on his boat with his son and daughter, which was the highlight for our children. Thank you Toni, Lourdes and Toni jnr!
The property had everything you could possibly want, even including towels for the pool,
Toni had thought of everything including a welcome pack, bread cheese, ham fruit, water etc, which was gratefully received after a long hot trip.
He even provided hand soaps, shower wash, rubber gloves, washing powder, washing up sponges and tea towels.
Lovely quiet setting, very picturesque. Easy walk in to Soller, although there is a bus stop right outside the gate that will take you right in to Soller or Port de Soller.
We did take the tram in to Port to Soller but found it expensive, but should be done at least once. Buses were really cheap and easy.
We loved all the animals especially the geese and the cat.
Toni came every day to feed the animals and check on the orange trees. He was always very helpful and offered advise on what to see and do.
The house is spotless and clean and very comfortable.
Toni picked us up on a Saturday morning and drove us to the mountains so we could walk down to the house and not up the hill,
We cannot recommend this villa enough, we had a fab holiday and were reluctant to leave.
Another amazing trip to Soller
This is the first time we've ever gone back to a property. Everything about it is perfect - the location, the accommodation, the animals and especially Toni and his family who are the loveliest people. Our young family of 5 look forward to visiting him and this beautiful place again very soon
Rustic Finca full of charm and everything you need for a wonderful holiday.
An absolutely delightful place with stunning views of the mountains. The property is in a perfect location so that you can walk to Soller, Fornalutz and Biniaraix. We were welcomed by Toni on our arrival and were so pleased to find that the property had everything we needed and more besides. The land surrounding the house is beautiful and having the animals around was quite entertaining! We loved them. We even braved the cold waters of the reservoir on Sunday which was great fun - for the neighbour too I suspect. Toni is a generous host and we really enjoyed meeting him. Can't wait to go back.
The estate of Can Sivella Groc is located in the region of Sóller (1km), near Fornalutx (1km), the Port de Sóller (3km), Deya (7km) and Valldemossa (10km).
In the northwest of the island of Mallorca, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana emerges Soller town nestled in a lush valley surrounded by olive groves and orange orchards. Its privileged situation facing the sea makes, with its natural harbor, is one of the most beautiful places in the archipelago; where the air smells of tranquility and where the sea enters the mountain.
Sóller adjoins the municipalities of Deià, Bunyola, Escorca and Fornalutx constituting a region marked by the purest traditional air of its people and its landscape, the most popular example of Mallorca. This city since ancient times has been described by locals as "an island within Mallorca" for its ancestral isolation, hides a rich heritage in churches, monuments, mansions, museums and palaces. Its narrow streets and its old town fleetingly move the visitor back centuries.
Sóller is also the cradle of modernist architecture in Mallorca and in the streets you can breathe the colonial air of some palatial homes built by migrants from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries made their fortune in America and France. Isolated by mountains and surrounded by nature, Sóller is preferred by visitors to contemplate nature, to hiking mountain, enjoy the tranquility provided by its streets and to get wet in the waters of the small bay. Tourists who come year after year to the valley give good faith of it.

About Toni Colom
With my wife and my children, we are the fourth and fifth generations that take care of the family property of Can Sivella Groc. I am a vet and I’m attracted by the environment in which people live, as well as animals and plants, in a sustainable balance, all for an age-friendly place/word.
Why Toni Colom chose Sóller
Our "Pépé" Umbert (grandfather in French), the son of a poor peasant family in Mallorca, early in the last century, emigrated to Normandy (France) at 13 years old and bought this farm for his mother. Later, he retired here, planted orange trees, lemon trees and vines and built a very ingenious system of water ditches by gravity and a vineyard pergola, to produce their own wine. On 17 July 2015, the garden was destroyed by a fire, and then, with determination and courage, we started, to the satisfaction of our mother/grandmother Nenette, rebuilding the farm, to make it sustainable as a renovated holiday house rental property. Therefore, we engage our guests in this philosophy, to regenerate the garden, sponsoring a tree in every stay.
What makes this Cottage unique
Viewed Binibassi houses from the seesaw under vineyard pergola . Listen the running water for waterin ditches and feel the orange drink. Swim Sunday in the safareig filled overnight with the spring waters of the mountains of l'Ofre. Breakfast of organic eggs produced by free-range chickens and drinking orange juice freshly picked and squeezed. Turn the Jotul wood and enjoy the fire in autumn and winter when temperatures drop at sunset. Smelling cellar moisture in a tastin wine experience. Visit walking the village of Biniaraix and access barranc foodpath to l'Ofre, cycling down Sóller and its port, visiting and shopping in San Bartolome coperativa and climb Fornalutx to taste seasonal specialties “sopes mallorquines” or “arroz brut” in autumn and winter. They are pleasures that can be experienced as a value Mediterranean life Can Sivella Groc gives us.
