About the property

3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with beautiful view!

Beautiful waterfront home overlooking the lake. Over-sized deck and screened-in porch with a scenic view of the water. Big open living area with wall of windows. Three bedrooms, two baths, two family rooms and a large kitchen.

Located on the private side, Jerdone Island, is one of Lake Anna's best-kept secrets. With access to the warm waters, it's great for any water activity. Launch your boat from the key entry private community boat launch, then tie up the boat in front of the property. During peak summer holidays this side of the lake is less congested with calmer waters than the public 'cold' side. It never freezes so fishing is possible year round. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and suntan lotion to this one of a kind getaway!

* Paddle boards available for 2017 season!

* New water filtration system for the entire home installed Sep 7, 2016.

* New Dock!

*Canoe, pedal boat and 2 kayaks included in the rental!

*Water depths vary in the cove so renters using boats may need to exercise caution and discretion when navigating to deeper waters which is less than 30 yards from the dock.

*Renter signing lease needs to be at least 25 years of age and remain on property at all times.

Nice Christmas holiday

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much at this property. It was enough space for the eight of us to cook, eat, hang out, play games, watch movies, and some of us fished. The private boat launch is a plus! Access to the lake was a big draw for us. Wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have been outside more. It is a very nice setting for family gatherings. Only thing we didn't like was the first floor sitting area/tv viewing room was too cold for us to use. Didn't have an issue with it since there were no kids wanting to split off and play games or watch their own movies. Summer months are probably more suited to that room's use. All in all, we were grateful for the time together and the use of this property made that happen. Definitely want to re-visit Lake Anna!

Beautiful setting with lots of water activity options, comfortable house and lots of sleeping areas.

We spent two days and nights around Thanksgiving at this lovely waterfront cabin. The views are spectacular and the beds are super comfy. The house, kitchen, rooms and grounds were very clean. The owner was very responsive via email prior to arrival and everything went so well we didn't need to contact them any other time. We didn't end up using the downstairs at all, but it's like an additional space with a large bedroom with a King bed and comfortable family room area. It doesn't have a bathroom, or you could have two separate families very comfortable together. All the facilities were great. Bring games and cards, because there are only two choices - Monopoly or Life. Good games yet my kids thought they were money-hungry greed games where you win by having the most money, and they decided Trump must own the company that makes those games. I would love to go back to this lovely house with it's amazing yard that included horseshoes, fire pit, canoe, kayaks and a paddle boat. We hope to visit during the warmer times of the year, though it would truly be lovely anytime. I would recommend this property to any family groups, and it would be very comfortable with up to 10 people sharing it. Next time, I'll bring a couple more people. :)

great for a family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the house and absolutely loved it! The size was perfect for the 5 adults and 2 dogs we brought. The lake was lovely, and even though it was chilly my brother took a kayak out one morning and enjoyed it. The house was clean and well-maintained and the check-in instructions were very clear. The kitchen was nice and big - great for hanging out and cooking. The one complaint was that the wifi didn't work, but hey, it made us talk to each other more so that wasn't so bad!

Nice lake experience.

We really liked the outdoor firepit and the kids liked the paddle boat in particular. This is on the warm side of the lake, so in the cold mornings was a lot of fog before it burned off in the sun. We had 4 kids and 3 adults stay, plenty of room.

Very nice place, awesome amenities.

  • 5 of 5

The home is very nice, open areas for the family to spend time together as well as an area to get away and watch a little TV or read in the peace and quiet. The fire ring, hammocks, canoe and kayaks were a nice added value. The area is quiet and peaceful as well as just a short distance from shopping. The only drawback for us was the stairs, our elderly father had a little trouble with the number of them (13 or 14).

Great Trip

  • 4 of 5

This was the second time we have rented this home. It is very nice, private and peaceful. The property is well-maintained and nicely furnished. The water toys (canoe, kayaks and paddle boat) was very enjoyable.

The downstairs bedroom's mattress was not too comfortable and a little worn, be nice if it could be replaced.

Enjoyed our stay and already looking forward to our next visit.
