When we checked in we discovered that the unit had been very poorly cleaned. There were dirty glasses placed in the cabinets, one bed comforter had blood on it, and another had significant food and liquid stains (perhaps worse). It was disgusting, and we were left to wonder the entire week what else in the unit had not been cleaned properly -- the dishware? the sheets? the towels ? When one pays this type of money to rent a unit for a week, one should be able to reasonably expect a carefully cleaned and inspected environment. Liquid Life should have come in to re-clean the entire unit; instead, they only picked up the soiled comforters and we never heard from them again. We will not be returning here.
Now I will say that the unit itself is well furnished and tastefully decorated. But it really doesn't matter if it isn't clean.
The condo is amazing. The rental company was amazing. They called the day we got to the condo and the they called the day after to make sure everything was going good. The amenities are all excellent. Wonderful vacation. Wonderful condo. No complaints.
The condo we stayed in was very nice and spacious. The amenities are great and very kid friendly. Our children had a blast and we definitely be returning.
The condo itself was great. Very roomy, spotlessly clean and the beds and sheets were very comfortable. Our family group of 10 had lots of room. However we were disappointed to discover we could only set up our canopy behind 4 rows of rental umbrellas. The beach, pool and lazy river were always crowded to the point that you had difficulty not bumping into people. The indoor pool was less crowded. Only 1 of the 4 Jacuzzis by the indoor pool were working. So although I would recommend the condo itself, with 32 floors the Phoenix West II complex results in crowds every where. My husband remarked that he felt like he was in Disney World.
Parking & elevator access ruined the experience of the this gorgeous Condominium steps from the beach. 2 parking passes were all that were allowed for every 1 unit rented, all other vehicles in the party had to find other means of parking. The six elevators took riders almost 30 minutes to get to where they were going and in most cases the stairs were the best option even if you were 7 floors up. The management staff(Brett Robinson) always looked aggravated and were unfriendly. The outdoor pool and lazy river were very nice, but the indoor pool closed during inclement weather and the heater was never on so the water was always very cold. The unit we stayed in was roomy and very nice. Knowing what future expectations will be at the Phoenix West II I would go again but not for the price. For the current price you could rent a house on the beach with all private access and no elevator or parking issues.
