The “Château”. The name of our spacious, warm household depicts the elegant sensation emanating from within the threshold of this late 19th century home. Its design, reminiscent of its European influence combines baroque-inspired architecture with modern amenities that plunge its residents into a state of well-being and relaxation. Conceived to offer a harmonious balance between elegance and comfort, the “Château” is built on a residential street and offers an accommodating environment in a modern city.

Just a walking distance away from beautiful parks like the Botanical Gardens of Montreal or the Olympic Park, the house is also located minutes away from the heart of downtown Montreal. This provides the residents with permanent opportunities to enjoy much of what Montreal has to offer, such as the city festivals, the rich Montreal gastronomy (or cuisine if you prefer) or the area of Old Montreal. The strategically located home remains close to a variety of Montreal attractions.

The loft’s exterior is simple and attractive. A rocky finish to a modern design that stands out from its surroundings. The backyard is complemented by a comfortable and intimate private terrace which connects to the kitchen and offers space for outdoor meals and leisure. Inside, the spacious design is accentuated by imposing wooden doors and high ceilings decorated with beautiful sculptures and complemented by the vast amount of stained-glass windows ensure a healthy supply of sunlight at all times.

The three upstairs bedrooms are each well-furnished and have a queen size bed, while remaining vast and accommodating. The two final bedrooms, located on the ground level and basement, can accommodate two more guests each, with the addition of a comfortable sofa-bed ensures a total of 16 people can enjoy a comfortable stay at our “Château”. The 2 richly decorated bathrooms are freshly renovated and are each beautifully complemented by a Jacuzzi as well as a freshly-installed sauna room located in the basement. The kitchen and dining-room, inspired by an open-space concept, maximize natural light and offer room to seat 8 to 16 people around the table, ideal for family meals. A sterling island counter with 2 barstools adds cooking space and a cozy family environment. A dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and all that is required to cook is equally provided.

Come and enjoy a stay at this historical, yet modern household which is equipped with 3 air conditioners, HD TV with cable, high speed wireless internet, clothes washer and dryer, a heated flooring system as well as linen and towels for 16 guests. Within minutes from the finest Montreal attractions, you will discover everything that is necessary to feel at home. Find your ideal residence within the walls of the “Château”!

Smoking is forbidden in the house, we have multiple areas where you can smoke outside including the second floor balcony. A penalty for smoking of the full sum of the security deposit will be charged for smoking.

Everything was as beautiful as advertised, and the location was perfect.

Our group of 14 had two great nights here, enjoying the downstairs amenities, comfortably filling the bedrooms, and preparing a Spanish birthday dinner for 14. We all fit at the table and there were enough place settings and utensils for all. The gas grill made cooking easy. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for our seventh and eighth graders, who took good care because the house was so clean and nice. having a bus on the corner and a nearby metro stop meant we could get everywhere in Montreal without a car. After jet boating, the sauna was a great way to warm up. It's a much nicer experience when your group can be together for meals and recreation time. thanks, Nina, for a great stay.

Couldn't have been better

  • 5 of 5

The house is exactly like pictures and was perfect for our group. Not only that, the owner had the house stocked with food items such as eggs that really saved us the first morning as we arrived at the house the night before after midnight. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Amenities were top notch.

A Beautiful and Fun Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

Our first impression was "wow it really is a Chateau"! The Chateau is just beautiful and surprisingly kid friendly. With six adults and four kids, there was plenty of room to be together and to be separate. The kids loved playing in the yard and a good time was had by all in the big Jacuzzi. Down the street there is a park that is formal on one side of the hill and has a great water playground on the other side. It is not that close to downtown but it is very close to public transportation. Nina, the owner/manager was just so nice and so very thoughtful. Knowing that there would be kids and two of the three groups would be driving in, she stocked the kitchen with kid (and adult) friendly food. We'll be back

Fantastic house! Beautiful design! Loved the hosts! Highly recommend it!!!

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived, everything was perfectly designed for us to feel comfortable. We were a big group of 15, and Nina, the hostess, really made sure we had everything we needed!

Loved that instead of a key, we got a code for the house, so we didn't have to worry about who's going to close or open the house at any time of the day.

The sauna is just like we like it, heats very well, and you can control the temperature. You can also feel that everything has been bought new, everything is clean, and the house is fully equipped for any needs that we had.

Would definitely recommend, especially since it's so close to downtown! $10-14 ride on Uber. And it's isolated from any other house, so you do not have to worry about noise complaints!

Nina also answered to any of our concerns extremely fast, which I personally felt like it adds value to the experience, since we're not from Montreal and we had a couple of questions concerning where to go and what to visit.

Overall we loved it and had no complaints, we received our deposit back after leaving, and it's definitely the place we're going back next time we're in Montreal!

Very Nice Stay

  • 5 of 5

The Property was excellent. It was very well kept and clean. We were a party of 10, so there was plenty of ample space for sleeping and sitting. The Beds were very comfortable. The Uber rides were only $13-16 to get downtown ($10 US). The Ride from the airport, depending on the time of day will be about $35 -70 CAN. We left the airport at 4PM (during rush hour) and it cost us $70, due to traffic. When we Ubered it back to the airport on Sunday, it was around $35. The airport does not allow Uber pickups. However you can go to a hotel and arrange for one there. Most people in the city seemed to speak English and French. We only had two cab/uber drivers that only spoke French. The location of the property was excellent and I would recommend it to fellow travelers. Nina answered all the questions I asked about the city and property. We really enjoyed the stay.
