The Ultimate In Relaxation At The Lake

New towels and linens throughout the main house! Covered back deck! There is plenty of room to eat, hang out, and relax in the shade and out of the rain when it comes! We have a great outdoor space with a fire pit and plenty of green space too enjoy. Our house is situated near the end of a private drive shared by 3 families. We like to call it "The Lake House". This 5 bedroom house (one of the bedrooms is a loft) will comfortably sleep up to 14 people although the rates are based on 12 occupants. Additional guests may stay at a rate of $25/guest per night. This is a no-pet (including companion animals and emotional support animals), non-smoking property. You will enjoy an amazing family room with comfy couches, a stone gas fireplace (used seasonally), a 65" smart TV, and a high ceiling with large windows looking out over the lake. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining area with a table that will seat 10. From the kitchen you can walk out onto the upper deck and relax or operate the available gas grill. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king bed and a door that leads out onto the back deck. There is also a full bath on this main level. Upstairs is the loft with a queen size bed, a small bedroom with a twin size trundle bed, and another full bath. The lowest level in the home has two bedrooms, each with a twin over full bunk bed. There is a bathroom on this level with a shower. The laundry is located just off of one of the bedrooms. There is a family room on this level that has a game table, a sleeper sofa, a gas fireplace (used seasonally), and a 55" TV with BlueRay, and DVD.
There is WIFI available throughout the house and on the deck. There is a large upper deck overlooking the lake with plenty of space for everyone! There is a lower deck with a porch swing, a couple tables/chairs, and a ping pong table. This is perfect for enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The family room and one of the bedrooms open onto this lower deck.
The house is just a short walk from the lake down a set of easy stairs. There is dock access and the swimming and fishing is great from the dock too!

We have plenty of parking to accommodate your entire group and any boat trailers you may have. We've accommodated 8 trucks with trailers and still had room for more!

While staying at our house, you are just minutes from Bailey's Point Recreation area and public boat ramp, minutes from Barren River Lake State Park, and about 45 minutes from Bowling Green, KY. It would be easy to visit the National Corvette Museum, or Mammoth Caves.

This is a great place for families to enjoy some quiet, relaxing, fun times together. You will be staying in a fairly private area and although there are houses close by, this is a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place!

This lake is managed by the Army Corp. of Engineers. The water level is regulated to be at summer levels from May through the middle of October. From the middle of October until the first part of May, the lake is at its winter level and all private docks on the lake are unusable. During this time, the lake cannot be seen from the house. The lakebed is still a fun place to walk and there is a small creek that flows year round. During the summer, the lake level stays fairly constant unless there are heavy rains or extreme drought. Because of this, we cannot guarantee what the water level will be. Please ask questions if you have any.
