Family Reunion in Beaver
We had a marvelous time in this amazing house!!!! We had our annual family reunion last week, ages 1 to 60 and everyone had a blast! There was plenty of seating for meals for the 38 of us, 4 areas with couches for visiting, 3 areas with tables for playing games, more grass for playing on than we could use and a pool that kept the kids very happy every afternoon. We had a fire 2 evenings and enjoyed s'mores. The outdoor pavilion, by the pool and play structure with lots of grass was a wonderful place to be in the evenings. Lots to do and room for everyone to play or visit. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!!!
had a wonderful stay
the outdoor space was too far from the house. And the grass close to the house was not in good condition. Otherwise it was wonderful.
Great House for Family Vacation
We had a great time. Everyone loved the house and property. We would stay here again in the future
Everyone should come to this place!
We felt like pure royalty in this home. It had the most comprehensive kitchen my wife and daughters have ever cooked in. We spent so much time in the living room, dining room and kitchen common area just visiting and enjoying the view from the many windows. Even though the ice machine was not working, Doug had 3 big bags of ice waiting for us in one of the freezers. On a side note, once we got established, we went into town, and the local market- Mike’s Food Town, had any food supplies we needed. The initial grandeur of the home with it’s layout and furnishings was most impressive. The recreation areas were a bit removed from the home, but our kids spent a lot of fun time over there playing pickle ball, billiards, etc. We had 13 in our family, including 4 small children. 3 of our boys and their wives were able to have their own private bedroom and baths. The fourth, single son was able to have a separate bed and bath at the other end of the house. The weather for us, in May, was unpredictable, as we had sun, rain and snow, often in the same day. Once inside the clubhouse and pavillion, however, there was still a lot to do. The only improvements we would have made include bringing more bath towels, as each guest is provided only one; warmer house- clothes, as the fixed thermostat was set a bit cold; and comfy slippers for everyone, as the beautiful marble or tile floors were cold. The owner, Jane, was a delight to deal with, as she was always available for questions, and promptly returned our full deposit afterwards. Overall, we had a really great family reunion, and this house was a big part of it!
The house was beautiful and a great spot for us to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary.
