A magnificent view from the 22th floor....We have free parking in the building's parking structure. A door from our parking level opens to inside the building where there is an elevator. There is a main key that opens the door from the parking structure to the inside of the building and same key opens the front door of the building. It is a secure building with security guards at night and a resident manager who has certain hours in the office and is on duty when needed..a security button on the panel outside the front door so security officers are always if u forget or loose your entrance key:)!. Awesome building only a few blocks from Waikiki and the building is a quiet get a way. Nestled behind Jefferson school and overlooking Kapolanai Park and the zoo with the most amazing view of Diamond well as the ocean.

This one bedroom condo has a large double sink bathroom. The living room, bedroom, kitchen and lanai all have a view of the beautiful Pacific ocean! The living room and lanai also have a magnificent view of Diamond Head. The living room has an entertainment center with cable. As well as a dining table for two, a desk, a sofa and a great cushiony chair with ottoman for relaxing! The lanai offers a table, and chairs to enjoy your meals - breakfast with a cup of hot java and a golden ripe papaya - you're living the good life and ready another day in Paradise! Of course, we have a wonderful large washer and dryer for all of those beach clothes and towels... beach towels and beach chairs: are for your use)!

Yeah.:).there is excitement and joy with the thought of actually landing in the Honolulu airport... then as I step out of the airplane, I feel the warm air and my body instantly begins to relax. I am in Honolulu !:) There is beauty everywhere...the flowers are beautiful and the palm trees sway in the warm breeze. The warm air on my skin feels wonderful! I have the feeling that life is so good...i head out to Diamond Head Vista...a tall building overlooking Diamond Head and the Waikiki Beach... yet Diamond Head Vista is far enough back from the beach to be peaceful and only 3 blocks to walk to the ocean where I can read on the sand and swim in the Waikiki waters. When I am here, I can just let go and be at peace with the world and when i want excitement... stroll down Waikiki where there is always something new to see and experience! This is the place at this moment that I call home and you can too if you choose to be our guest and rent this very special place in paradise.

This is who I am...a person who is passionate about the warm beautiful weather of Waikiki and all the fun things to see and do including experiencing all the delicious foods of the island! My passion of action is to give all of our guests a special place in Hawaii with lots of aloha that they can call their home away from home and when they leave take aloha with them that in some way their lives may be a little better because they stayed in our condo filled with aloha! It is one of these things you just know...and say to yourself , "Wow sometimes things are just better than you can even hope for and this surpasses all is truly a piece of paradise right in paradise. " What a win...with this special condo the aloha can be felt. The love of Honolulu fills every cell of the body and the splendor of Diamond Head stands steadfast and you feel the splendor of this great beauty in Hawaii.A thought may come..."If I could just stop time...this is where I would be.!"

What makes this condo unique

This is a no smoking building! This unique structure of the building offers views of Diamond Head and the ocean from most every condo. The property manager along with the maintenance and security guards are always with aloha. The location is also a plus - close to everywhere but tucked away from the busy streets of Kapahulu and Kuhio.

Best condo we've stayed in Wakiki for our 10 years of visit, bathroom could need a little updating but its nothing to complain about, could need a rolling pin and a cover for the microwave to keep the inside clean.To bad it's not available for our times of the year, but that makes the other renters very lucky. Got to give the place 10/10. Thanks

I'm actually writing this review while still at this condo; we fly home in a few hours, back to the Great White North! We have had our eye on this specific condo for a long time but, until recently, have not been able to take advantage of 30 day vacations! This year we could.

If you know Waikiki, you know it can be noisy, especially if you stay in the hotels along the avenues Kalakaua and Kuhio. A big advantage of this condo is that it is back from those streets and much quieter. The condo has a large lanai and from there you have a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, Kapiolani Park and an unobstructed view of Diamond Head. Breathtaking, especially on first sight. The beach is two or three blocks away and swimming in the ocean is wonderful at Waikiki. If you don't want to go to the ocean, you can swim in the condo's salt water outdoor pool. It feels like your own pool because rarely during our stay did anybody else swim in it when we did.

None of us come to Hawaii to watch TV and use WIFI but in this condo both are first class. In addition to what seems hundreds of TV stations and Netflix, the TV system has its own DVR. This was an added bonus to us because live events often happen on mainland time which often translates into the middle of the night or while you are out at the beach! Also, the WIFI is outstanding; fast and reliable. There is also wired internet but we never had to use it at all. The free phone calls to North America was also an added touch.

The condo is quite spacious and equipped with everything you would need. All appliances, both large and small, are top quality. The air conditioner saved us during our first week as it was abnormally hot for this time of year. The rest of the time, the windows and doors were open and the Trade Winds kept us comfortable. Perfect.

The instructions we received from the owner prior to arrival were simple and complete from how to get into the condo to how to operate the TV, internet, and even the coffee maker! The security staff at the condo were both helpful and friendly as were tenants that we met from time to time.

If you come here for 30 days or more, here are a few grocery shopping tips. Safeway is about a mile away. Initially, go there and do your big shop (meats, one of a kind items, beer wine soda etc) and take a cab back to the condo (about $8 plus tip). Afterwards for most grocery needs, you could still use Safeway or go to the Food Pantry on Kuhio Avenue. It's about a 10-12 minute walk

A Great Rental!

My wife and I just spent the last two months in this condo and it was great. The view from the lanai was spectacular the the condo very comfortable. The quality appliances were all updated and the new surround sound system made watching TV and movies very enjoyable. Over the years this was our 24th journey to Waikiki, and we both agree this was the best unit we have ever stayed in. Also, the building was quiet, well maintained, and the management and security staff were very friendly. We definitely recommend this condo.

The buses run by regularly along Kuhio and Kapahulu Avenue, they can take you most anywhere on the island. Kapiolani Park, the Shell, the zoo, the aquarium, and the beautiful beaches of Waikiki are all within walking distance. Most shops along Kalakaua stay open in the evening and offer a multitude of items to buy or window shop - great way to walk off some of the wonderful dinner that you've had at a nearby restaurant. There are so many choices for ethnic foods. A favorite of many islanders and visitors are the many Farmer's Markets located a various nearby spots and at various times and dates.

Take the beach chairs down to the sand and enjoy the warm waters of the Pacific or sit and people watch or take your favorite book - if the sand is too hot then go to the nearby lawn and tree area and spend a time-out kind of day- don't forget the suntan lotion and a hat! Snacks and drinks can be purchased nearby - be a local and try a spam musubi with a can of green tea while at the beach.

If you would like a spectacular view of all Wakiki - walk up to the top of Diamond Head for sunrise or sunset - most of the trail has been improved. Would recommend a good pair of tennis or hiking shoes.

On Kuhio there is a great noodle shop - you'll see it if you go down Kuhio - there is always a line of people waiting outside - price is very reasonable and the delicious noodles are made right there in front of you.

If you love golfing, the golf course is just on the other side of the canal. It's an easy walk over there.
