The house is located in a historic building from the 1400s and has been finely restored respecting the interiors of the time with exposed beams, coffered ceiling, terracotta terracotta tile, fireplace and original stone portals from the same period.
The ancient structure is masterfully reconciled with the modernity of the comforts that the house offers: two living rooms, 3 bedrooms, study,
three bathrooms with modern showers and bathtub, 2 large wardrobes, professional kitchen with central island and large burners designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano, a balcony (LAKE VIEW) equipped with two sofas.
The location is strategic both because it is located in the heart of the historic center (close to the best restaurants, typical shops and supermarkets) and because Rome, Fiumicino airport and the port of Civitavecchia can be reached in half an hour.
You can walk to Lake Bracciano as well as to the railway station where you can take the train to Rome directly connected to the Metro (Stazioni San Pietro and Valle Aurelia) and to Viterbo, the heart of the Etruscan Tuscia.
The proximity to the Orsini Odescalchi Castle and the spectacular view of Lake Bracciano make it a residence with a unique atmosphere.

Charming appartment in lovely Bracciano

Very charming appartment, tastefully furnished by the very friendly owner, Marina. We were there with two couples but the appartment can accommodate up to 7 people. There's a nice big kitchen to sit and relax - and cook of course, there are plenty utensils available. There's also an attractive room with armchairs and a sofa, and a study. A big plus to us was the balcony, where we could enjoy the lovely weather (a sunscreen protects you from too much sun), a view of the lake and the cobbled street with some restaurants below. Bracciano is a nice little town with plenty of restaurants, shops, ice cream parlours and gran caffès to enjoy coffee and delicious sweets. Do not forget to visit the impressive medieval Castello Odescalchi, it's worth it. Highly recommended!
