Great stay on Sao Miguel

Host was very communicative and helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The location was perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada and close to excellent restaurants and food shopping. We recommend it highly!!

EPICENTER City was the perfect location for our three week stay in Sao Miguel. The flat is comfortable, well equipped and very safe. Francisco was great with communications and checked in during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Considering we were in the heart of downtown, the neighborhood was very quiet at night. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future.

Apartment in town

This apartment offers a great location in town with easy access to all urban and port activities and yet equally easy access (by car) to all areas of the island. And even though it was in town it was remarkably peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful central spot for visiting the island.

We stayed for 9 days at the lovely apartment. It was easy to walk to all attraction in Sao Miguel and a lovely central spot to tour the island from. It was a great place to start and end our days. If you are wanting to mainly eat out you are all set. If you are wanting to do a fair bit of cooking you may need some extra kitchen items. Other than that the apartment was excellent. I would recommend.

Nice apartment in a great location

Although we would like to have a bigger kitchen area, we did find it possible and not too onerous to run pretty normal lives for almost a month, shopping in the Mercado da Graça (a few minutes walking) or some of the local supermarkets (best: Manteiga, only place where we found fresh milk in glass bottles!). And the owners/managers have been very gracious in keeping some of our stuff in storage until we return to the island, in about ten days. Nothing serious to complain about and looking forward to our next month-and-a-half there!

Central for both city exploration and adventures East and West

Comfortable and quiet, yet central to many conveniences and city sights, Epicenter lived up to its name.We used a car rental throughout our 5 night stay, and found the garage about a 5 minute walk from here, @ 20 euros for our entire stay, a true blessing! In the rental itself, there were limited signs of possible water damage on some walls, and the dehumidifier did require emptying about every 24 hours, even with the heat pump/AC running. Given that weather was relatively humid while visiting, I can see the need for these climate control tools, and would rent here again. Thank you Francisco for your prompt replies to our questions and for making our first visit to beautiful Sao Miguel a positive adventure!

Excellent spot

This place is great! Super clean. Comfortable bed/pillows and couch. TV has Netflix. Laundry machine and drying rack are super handy. Beautiful lighting and light fixtures. Candles and lanterns to use (such a nice touch)! The back patio is great for hanging out in the evening (also with great lighting and a little fire pit) since restaurants and shops close pretty early. Was really nice to get a bottle of wine and hang out back there with my husband and son. A pack-and-play was provided so our 5 month old had a safe place to sleep. Location is great! Can walk around around town to restaurants and the harbour front in 5 minutes. 10 min drive from the airport. I would highly recommend this place!

A great few months in the Ilha Verde

We had already stayed at the property last November, for just one week to check the place and see if we could adjust to a multi-month stay (hint: we could!). This time we stayed for almost two and a half-months (with a two-week interruption during which we traveled elsewhere). The apartment is quite comfortable for a couple and the location is really good: close to the center, close to the botanical gardens, close to the farmer's market (Mercado da Graça), close the La Gelateria (a "must visit" ice-cream shop), close to everything... The historic center of Ponta Delgada is small enough that one is always close to everywhere! You are never more than 10-15 minutes away (walking, of course!) from anywhere... The management is very friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate us, even keeping some things we had bought for the kitchen (we do cook a lot) while we were away. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Went for a week, planning to return for a few months

The apartment is very well located, just a short, nice walk from the Botanical Garden (heads up: they charge 5 euros to enter) and a short walk to the center of the town and the Mercado da Graça (Farmer's Market). And La Gelateria, a really nice ice cream shop, is just around the corner, which could be a problem (just kidding!). The apartment itself is fine, but not perfect (what is?); we would be happier with a larger kitchen space since we do a lot of cooking, but we learned to manage. Unfortunately we did not get to use the patio, which looks nice, because it was raining pretty much every night and it was always wet (we were there end of November). Probably because of the time of year, too, the apartment benefits from a dehumidifier (there is one there, which gets filled up in just a couple of days). One nice touch is the big (flat) TV and a house mobile phone for use in the area (it took me a while to figure out how to turn it on, though!). I even connected my laptop to the TV and, selecting HDMI2 as input, it worked flawlessly.

Leider nicht er erwartet

Wir waren leider ziemlich unglücklich in der Unterkunft, weil die Beschreibung, die Bilder & die Bewertungen deutlich mehr haben erwarten lassen. Vorab ist aber zu sagen, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und er war bemüht, den Missstand zu beheben. Insbesondere hat er direkt nach meiner Beschwerde im Hinblick auf die Sauberkeit veranlasst, dass nochmals geputzt wird. Es war danach sauberer, aber zB war exakt die Stelle, die ich ihm per Foto schickte (eine Fliese an der Wand mit vier gut sichtbaren Haaren) immer noch im selben Zustand. Auch waren die Amaturen in Bad & Küche ersichtlich lange nicht richtig gereinigt worden, ebeso wie die Fliesen im Bad entwa rund um die Toilette. Insgesamt wurde deutlich, dass die Instandhaltung der Wohnung leider vernachlässigt wurde. Die Möbelierung entsprach zudem nicht den Fotos, die Stühle im Wohnzimmer waren zB im Regiestuhlstil - was an sich nicht schlimm ist, aber leider waren die schwarzen Sitzflächen alle mit weißen unterschiedlich großen Flecken beschmutzt, auch das war nach dem 2. Mal putzen etwas besser, aber auch nicht vollständig behoben. Auch die Sitzmöbel draußen waren weniger hochwertig als die, die auf den Bildern abgebildet waren. Der Vermieter bot uns aber netterweise an, die übrigen Nächte kostenlos zu stornieren, was wir dann auch taten, wir blieben somit nur 3 statt 7 Nächte.Die Küche wirkte gut ausgestattet.Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war insgesamt gemessen am Markt uE schlecht.

Séjours pieds dans l’eau

L’appartement est parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. Il est confortable, grand, très agréable à vivre, très bien décoré notamment la terrasse avec les éclairages et les plantes. Nous avons aussi énormément apprécié la réactivité, le professionnalisme et l’aide de Francisco durant notre séjour. Cependant nous avons une remarque concernant les autres appartements limitrophes, qui eux sont un peu bruyant la nuit. Globalement nous avons passé un bon séjour

tolle Wohnung im Zentrum

A month in the Azores

As soon as we stepped into the apartment we realized the property was exactly like the photos. Everything was right at our fingertips.We were walking distance to many great restaurants, downtown ,parks and the mall. The apartment was very well maintained and really clean. Francisco was very helpful and checked in once in a while to make sure we were having a great trip. I would recommend this property very highly

Maravilloso, acogedor y bonito

Excelente, Precioso, Comodo y con todo lujo de detalles. Nos encantó la decoracion, la comodidad del apartamento, con todo lujo de detalles y con todo lo que puedes necesitar cuando estas fuera de casa, y que te facilitan unas vacaciones fantasticas. Nuno es un estupendo anfitrión, atento, simpático y con ganas de ayudar en todo lo posible, y eso es de agradecer. Planos, guías, souvenirs, vino, musica ambiente, etc etc... La isla de San Miguel nos dejó alucinados, boquiabiertos y con ganas de volver, pero sin el Epicenter apartament no hubiera sido lo mismo. Te hace la estancia mas fácil, con tiendas cerca, zonas se aparcamiento gratis, bien conectado con la red de carreteras, y todos los seevicios cerca, como el aeropuerto a 10min. Gracias y muchas gracias Nuno!!!!!
