About the property

1 bedroom, 1 bath suite with full kitchen, wifi, and netflix. Mountain view!

The Pinto Ranch Hanger Suite is located inside our Airplane hanger ( The "boss" doesn't fly anymore) This is a one bedroom suite with a queen bed and large bathroom. The spacious living area has a large sectional couch that could sleep one more person. The suite has a full kitchen, wifi, and a large screen tv with Netflix, and Pandora available. There is a pond near the hanger you are welcome to visit and try to catch a fish. There is a walking path that crosses the Ranch that you are welcome to use. The mountain views are tremendous! If you are a hunter that has drawn a tag in this area, the Hanger is very central for you. This is a working sheep ranch. Thus, there are sheep around the property to see and I am often out working my border collies. Outdoor activities of all kinds are close by. Fishing, hiking, rock climbing, rafting, horseback riding and more are within 30 minutes of the Hanger. The Yellowstone river is rated a blue ribbon river. Guides are easy to book, or you can fish on your own. Lots of accesses. Yellowstone National Park is just 37 miles south of the Hanger. So much to see there! Chico Resort is 10 minutes away and offers hot springs for soaking and swimming, a fine resturant, bar and grill and a day spa with massage and yoga. Daily Lake is also close with picnic areas, fishing and boating. Lots to do here in this beautiful valley. The Pinto Ranch Hanger is an awesome location to call home base.

About Kindra Harlow

I was born and raised here in Montana. I have enjoyed many of the awesome wonders of this area around Bozeman and Livingston. I grew up on skis and spent every weekend at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. I graduated from MSU. Traveled around a bit after graduating college, but landed back in this beautiful place. I got into horses and sheep in 1994. I raise border collies and dearly love the companionship of 5 working dogs. Hunting and fishing are always on the agenda. The view of the mountains around here is just KILLER!!! I can't help but stare in awe (even after all these years). I love seeing the abundance of wildlife every day. Pretty cool to see a bald eagle perched in a tree close to the house, or deer grazing in the pasture. I love this place!

What makes this barn unique

I love the Pinto Ranch Hanger. It may not have a fancy yard or a wrap around deck, but it is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. It is close to the action in Paradise Valley, and is reasonably priced. Don't let its exterior fool you!!! This place rocks for $100 per night.

Epic vacation

  • 5 of 5

The trip of a lifetime! We stayed at Kindra Harlow’s Pinto Ranch for a week! The airplane hanger has everything you need & is decorated so cute. The decor is appropriate for Wild West vibe. Kindra thought of everything; from fully stocked kitchen to BBQ grill. Pinto Ranch is a working sheep farm with pond and views to die for. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Kindra was gracious and answered all of our questions about the area, recommended things to do. By the end of our stay, I felt like we were friends and she gave us a warm hug as we said our good byes. Pinto Ranch is a short ride to Yellowstone which was convenient and economical. We plan to visit Pinto Ranch again next year...and I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting the National Park!!!!

Our delightful airplane hanger

  • 5 of 5

We recently spent 3 days and 4 nights at Kindra Harlow's Pinto Ranch, staying in her airplane hanger living quarters. It was a deliteful stay, quite comfortable, quiet, peaceful, surrounded by mountains. Only 30 miles from Yellowstone's north entrance. The accommodations top notch and Kindra was wonderful host. We highly recommend this venue.

Unique place in a beautiful setting.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The place was clean and the owner checked in on us the first night to make sure everything was working for us and even offered to help us in case we forgot something from home. Thanks Kindra!

Very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The best part of this apartment was that it was large and roomy, clean and comfortable. Close enough to the north west entrance to Yellowstone Park, Gardiner, Montana. The road to Cook, which runs through the park, is open, the wild life was truly amazing. The scenery in this whole area is something one just has to see to believe. The fishing in the area is blue ribbon. Close enough to Livingston to shop for groceries or a night out. This property is on a working ranch, which I loved. There is a storage facility attached to the apartment, which I didn't know what to think of at first. I would recommend this location.
