This spectacularly historic home in Savannah may have been built in 1854, but it has all the modern comforts you may need, combined with an amazing location and space for four to five guests so you will have an unforgettable time in this beautiful city.

Nestled in the Landmark Historic District, this townhouse was built before the Civil War and features an original floorplan but has been completely remodeled to suit modern tastes. While you're here you will be within walking distance of many of downtown Savannah's attractions, including restaurants, parks, shops, the riverfront, and cultural activities, so you won't even need a car. With trendy eateries in every direction, plenty of boutiques and antique shops, and plenty of photo-worthy sights, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your camera!

This two-level home has two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, so it can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. The lower level has a living room with cozy seating and a TV tucked away in the corner. While you're here you will enjoy WiFi access, cable TV, a DVD player, central air conditioning, and a laundry area for your convenience.

Next to the living room is a dining room, and past that is a compact but full kitchen that features all the appliances and tools the cook in your group might need to whip up tasty meals. Outside from the kitchen is a beautiful enclosed garden patio where you will love to sit, sip some iced tea, and relax.

The lower level also has a half bathroom, and if you walk upstairs you will find a full bathroom and both bedrooms. The first contains a queen-size bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds. This home is an ideal size for five guests (four adults maximum please), so go ahead and bring your family, a few close friends, or another couple to enjoy this wonderfully historic house with you.

With a convenient location, modern comforts, and no shortage of historic charm, this home in Savannah is the perfect place to plan your vacation!

About Vacasa, GA - Savannah Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Don't stay here

  • 1 of 5

We stayed at this apartment for a weekend to attend a family wedding. We were not informed a head of time that the outside of the building would be under construction while we were there. We were woken early both Saturday and Sunday mornings to the pounding on the building as they repaired the brickwork. The back patio which looks so lovely in the photos was not passable as it was full of scaffolding, tools, ladders and cement used on the building. Forget enjoying our coffee out there! Sunday the ladders had moved to the front of the building, in front of the bedroom windows while we were trying to dress for the day. My teenage daughter was very uncomfortable dressing even with the curtains drawn with the worker going up and down the ladder. We made our reservations 3 months in advance so they certainly knew we were coming when they scheduled the work, they just didn't bother to tell us but then asked us to pay additional cash should we want to stay past 11am! I won't use this company again

Owner's Response: We are extremely sorry this guest had to endure the inconvenience from construction debris and the accompanying noise. The property manager was in constant communication with the contractor leading up to the reservation and assumed they were finished before the guest checked in. However, the contractor returned during the guest's stay. A full refund will be made. Thank you.

Beautiful house, Good location

  • 3 of 5

Beautiful house, good location. Bad bed. Cheep bed and you can tell. Stayed 3 nights and didn't get a single good nights sleep. If they had a good bed this place would be a 10.

Happy visitors from Spokane, WAshington

  • 5 of 5

This house is inviting, charming, cozy and well furnished. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms and main bath are very steep but doable. Off the twin bed room is a nice washer and dryer. There is a totally private hedged in patio with table and chairs off the kitchen. Very nice. The neighborhood is quiet - no loud parties in the evenings. We found a thrift store 1 block south (where we bought more hot-weather pants- and a lovely "Bier Garten" pub and restaurant one block north of the residence. Best wienerschnitzel I've every had. The historic district is a walk of only 6-8 blocks, along lovely streets rich with wonderful old houses. We loved Savannah Lark.

Elegant and good location

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home. Easy parking. Good location. We enjoyed feeling as though we lived in the historic district. Nice to have a washer and dryer.

Note: it is an old staircase. Narrow and uneven. Not for those with mobility issues.

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

5 Ladies stayed at this home and we had a blast. There was plenty of room-3 beds and two blow up mattresses made it comfy. It was located close enough to places that we were anywhere in Savannah within few minutes and 25 minutes from Tybee. We would definitely stay here again.
