Excellent apartment in a wonderful location
We are regular visitors to this area but this was our first stay at Eucalyptus Apartments. We chose Condo Elia mainly because of its sea view and we were not disappointed.
The apartment is at the front of this small complex, with just a very quiet service road between it and the sea. It overlooks the pool with the main room at first floor level and bedrooms on the ground floor.

We were greeted by Costas who took our cases and showed us around. He also gave us information about shopping and eating in the area. The cleanliness of the whole apartment was impeccable on our arrival. Cleaning ladies did two full cleans with fresh bedding and towels during our weeks stay. All fixtures and fittings were of very good quality. There was a small welcome pack ready for us and essential cleaning materials were provided.
The layout of the apartment is excellent, with downstairs accommodation providing very private facilities for two couples. There is a screened corridor leading to one bedroom and shower room, while the other bedroom and full bathroom is totally separate. Both beds are queen size - one can be split into two singles.
The main living area was large and very comfortable. All kitchen appliances were top quality and there was plenty of Crockett etc.
The balcony furniture was substantial and comfortable and we enjoyed the view so much. The pool is unseated, but we found it to be an excellent temperature for cooling off after soaking up the sun. We had good weather with temps in the high 20s, which was great for late season.
The area around the complex is quiet. There is a lovely shore side taverna just a few minutes stroll away, a children’s play area nearby and an excellent bakery and coffee shop. The pool area at the main hotel in the villager is open to visitors for drinks and snacks, and I’m sure that the pool too could be used by customers, although we did not do this. There is a mini-market in the village, but we used the larger (and cheaper) supermarket in Sami.
Sami town is within walking distance - about 1.5 miles - along the shore path, or a short and easy drive on a quiet road. Bars, tavernas, shops and a harbour make this an ideal place for evenings.
We thoroughly enjoyed our break and would recommend it to couples and families who enjoy peaceful, quality and uncomplicated surroundings in a beautiful setting where you are well cared for by very pleasant but unobtrusive managers.
