Everything as described

Property is accurately described in listing. No issues at all. Just a note that the pool is very small and directly outside of one of the units. Another review indicated that children were in there frequently - this would have been pretty disruptive if staying in the unit next to the pool. Woodwork in unit is beautiful and property is very clean.

Charming place in perfect location

This was our first visit to Playa del Carmen with 2 adults and 3 teens. Françoise and Joe were great to work with and answered all my questions prior to and during our visit. The suite is located just a block from the beach and a block from Quinta Avenida, but it wasn't too noisy at night...perfect for walking around PDC. The place was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed. I absolutely adored the way the space was decorated. Highly recommend!

Perfect for our stay at Playa del Carmen.

The Antigua — 2 bedroom suite was very spacious for our family of 3. We were able to host a couple of friends. We really liked the private setting. I appreciated Joe, the property manager’s friendliness, and responsivenesses. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Hidden Gem

This was our 4th trip to Playa and having stayed at the same all inclusive previously, we decided to switch things up and try something new. As soon as I saw the photos in the listing, read the description and reviews I knew this was the one for us! From the moment we got to the Plantation House it felt like home. Seriously. My kids immediately fought over who got the bed and who got the couch upstairs in the mezzanine because why share the huge four poster queen bed? The apartment looks just as the listing photos showed and additionally there were plenty of kitchen pots, pans and the such if you wanted to use them. The beach itself was a short walk down the street, we went to the beach club one day and then down to the open beach by Mahekal several days which was a 15-20min walk but well worth it. The best parts for my kids though were that there was a pool right out the door that they could use from 9a until 10 or their bedtime. (Sorry to all the other wonderful guests who graciously laughed at his echoing pool antics, we appreciated you!) The other thing my daughter loved the iguanas right off the back porch. She'd go out everyday and check them out. Joe was very quick to respond with any questions we had and the cleaning staff were wonderful as well! We would definitely stay again at the Plantation House, we had a marvelous and remand family vacation which was exactly what we needed!

Wonderful place

Just one block from the beach and around the córner from the famous Quinta Avenida, perfect location. Incredible little apartment, very celan and has everything you could need for your perfect vacation. Joe is very kind and airways there to help. I will most certainly return to the Plantation House on my next trip to Playa del Carmen! Thank you Joe!

Antigua suie-plantation House Feb 20th-Feb27' 2010

We loved our stay in the Antigua suite. Split level, 2 bedrooms and 1 and a half baths. The kitchen was set up great and the big dinning room table was a plus. The living room was nice size where you could stretch out. The deck was a nice place to set or lay in the hammock. We felt very safe there and everywhere we wanted to go was just a short walk. The planation house remined me of Key west Florida. The locate for eating out was great. There were great places to eat or to have a few cocktails Just out the door and down one block. We have always stayed at the big resorts when we come to Playa and we are there at least twice a year . This place has changed our minds. The owners Were so nice and layed back. We will be back.
