Incredible location and beach access
South Mission Beach is a wonderful location for families and the house is well suited to relax and enjoy the SD beach lifestyle. The host was extremely accommodating and had the house ready to go early for our enjoyment. From the expansive front patio with a grill and lounge chairs to the spacious interior, this home is cozy and relaxing. Thank you for having us and cant wait to do it again!
Great location and quiet retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I’ve been coming to mission beach for nine years and this is one of the best locations. It rained the whole time we were in town but we didn’t let that ruin the fun. Lots to do around this property including Belmont park, lots of great food, and of course the beach just two houses over. The host was very communicative and quick to respond any time we needed anything. I would certainly stay here again
So kind of you to give a good review when it rained the whole time! Sun is the only thing I cannot guarantee. Your group was great and I hope you come back.
We had a nice stay. Great to get to LaJolla, Coronado and
San Diego sights. Good for walking...
The property was comfortable and clean. Just hard to get used
to noise of airplanes....also, you really need a car to get to good
restaurants. We used uber and made out fine.
sunny beach escape
exactly as promised
A great trip!
We had a great time here. It was everything we expected given the listing. Use of beach towels and toys was a bonus. The owner was very responsive with any questions that we had. We would absolutely stay here again.

About David Catalino
Grew up in New York State. Attended University of San Diego School of Law, fell in love with San Diego and have been here 35 years. This beach house started as a family venture with my mother and sister and we still take care of all details ourselves.
Why David Catalino chose Mission Beach
The property faces south and gets sun on the patio all day long. Sunsets are visable all year long from the beach as the sun sets to the west over the water. This beach in South Mission (Lifeguard Tower 10) is the longest and widest beach area in San Diego (South Mission Beach stretching north to Pacific Beach). There is surfing, body surfing, volleyball courts and room for any beach game you want to play. You can also find an area of sand all for yourself.
What makes this Townhome unique
Large patio to grill and enjoy the sun and your family. Mainly families with young children stay in this area of South Mission Beach which is quiet, but the action of Belmont Park and the roller coaster are only a short walk away. Other Attractions: Seaworld San Diego Zoo Balboa Park Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum Seaport Village Gaslamp Quarter Torrey Pines Golf Course Old Town San Diego Village of La Jolla Coronado Island Petco Park where the SD Padres play April to September
