Welcome to our Beach place!

Before we describe this property to you, we would like to mention a few things:

1. If you are interested to stay in our condo, please DO NOT SUBMIT “BOOK” request but send us a message first via email, checking an availability; our property is advertised on several vacation rental sites and possibly the dates you are interested in are already booked.

Also, if you submit a book request and we cannot accept it there is a chance your money will be on hold for a few days.


Please, check our rate calendar for the accurate rate and an additional fee under that calendar. Our price changes depending on the season/holidays/special events.

but if you see a gap between 2 separate bookings with only 1 or 2 nights opening and if it is exactly what you are interested in, please message us.

4. NO SATURDAY CHECK IN or SATURDAY OUT during March, June-August.

5. ONLY the number of guests mentioned DURING the reservation will be allowed to stay in the condo. Adding extra visitors/guests to the confirmed reservation is NOT permitted.

6. If you want to stay in our condo, but the calendar shows no availability, please check our other condo- unit 2308 which is located right above this unit 2208, described on this page. Both condos went through an extensive recent (2015) complete renovation, both have the same great view of the pool and a beautiful view of the ocean, both condos are the closest to the beach you can get in a 1 bedroom unit, both have a wonderful coastal decor, everything is new inside both condos. These two condos are almost identical to each other!!!

7. Our condos have a strict "NO PETS OF ANY KIND" and a "NON SMOKERS ONLY IN THE PARTY (including outside and e-cigarettes)" policies.

Let us introduce you to our property...

Seascape condominiums is located less than a mile away from the west end of the Seawall Blvd with its multiple attractions and restaurants , you can reach them within minutes but at the same time you can enjoy quite family time away from the noise of the crowd. Another very unique feature of Seascape condominiums, compared to other condominiums on the island, it is truly a beachfront property, so during anytime of the day, if you want to spend time with your family playing on the beach or just having a relaxing moonlight walk, you do not need to worry about crossing a busy four lane highway to be on the beach. You are on the beach!!!

During your stay you can enjoy a large heated pool with beautiful landscaping, 2 hot tubs and a kid's pool on the property. Also there are 2 gazebos with 4 wooden swings. And when you have an appetite there are several on site BBQ grills to make lunch or dinner for your family.

Our condo is located on the 2nd floor (unit 2208), overlooking the pool and a great beach view. This unit is the closest you can get to the beach in a one bedroom condo. The condo has been completely remodeled (finished April 2015), a new beautiful rustic vinyl wood floor, all furniture, appliances, ext. are new.

This 516 sq. ft. condo is a one bedroom unit. It has been custom designed in a nautical white/blue/ brown theme.

In the Living room you will find:

-queen sleeper sofa (Lazy Boy) with a side table (you can find a few games in there)

-swivel chair

- 40 inch new flat panel TV with a large selection of HD channels and Netflix streaming, a blu-ray player, free WI-FI (it even works in the pool area!).

Kitchen : white custom made kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, full range oven, all necessary cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, slow cooker and of course a blender to make smoothies or a margarita. We have a small supply of complementary coffee, sugar, creamer for your first night of staying.

Bathroom: walk-in tile shower with glass doors. Under the sink, you can find a combo washer/dryer, so you don't need to use the condo's general washateria, if you need to do some laundry. As of present, this and our other condo (VRBO ID 792554) are the only one bedroom condos which has a private washer/dryer, no other one bedroom condo has a washer/dryer inside the condo, guests of those condos will have to do their laundry only in a general laundry area. We also have an ironing board and an iron.

Hallway: built-in 2 bunk beds

-custom made king size bed with a high quality memory foam mattress and new foam pillows

-32 inch flat screen TV, with Netflix streaming

Balcony: You will be able to relax on a private balcony using our highrise chairs while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine or a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the waves.

There is a storage/sitting bench on the balcony, inside you will find a few beach toys for the kids to take to the beach. Also there are 6 beach chairs for your convenience, please feel free to take them to the beach if you want to relax and rest your toes on the sand!

Total sleeping arrangements: 5 people (a king size bed, 2 built-in bunk beds in the hallway, a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room).

So, what is the difference between our condo compared to the others?

1. Location of our resort......We are located on the beach, no need to worry to cross the busy 4 lane Highway

2. Location of our condo......

If you get a condo in our complex which is facing west, there is a great view of the sunset, but also a complete view of an RV park. Condos facing east will treat you with a view of sunrise and possibly a view of the HOA building, which can partially block your ocean view, depending on the location of the condo . Our condo is facing inside the complex, so you can have a full view of the pool and a great view of the ocean. We are located on the 2 floor. Also, we are the closest you can get to the beach in a 1 bedroom condo!!!

3. Remodeling.....

We went through an extensive remodeling process in 2015, everything inside is brand new.

Why Marina and Gary chose Gulf Coast

On our free days we wanted to have a place to go and relax. We wanted something that is on the beach with direct access from the property (not wanting to cross a busy highway to get there) Our criteria was a view of the pool, great view of the ocean and to be as close as possible so we could hear the waves landing on the beach. We wanted a property that is well maintained and managed. We found that Seascape fulfilled our requirements. We then set out to remodel with a certain idea in mind. To be somewhere unique. I think we accomplished that. Come and see for yourself.

This is our second year to stay in this Galveston Island condo. The condo is extremely clean, well appointed and situated perfectly with pool and ocean views. Nothing has been missed it making this your perfect beach get-a-way! Marina & Gary are easy to work with and enjoy sharing their condo. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice and enjoyable stay at this condo

The condo was well furnished, very clean and quiet. It has great walking access to the beach. Location is just far enough away from the busyness of the Galveston seawall but still close enough to the restaurants and other attractions. The hosts communicated with us to ensure we got checked in successfully and whether we needed any assistance. We definitely would stay here again.

Incredible Place!!

Great condo in Galveston right off the beach!

Very nice condo with everything updated and just as described. The amenities were very nice and the condo complex staff were friendly and proud of their property. The owners were also helpful and prompt. The location was ideal because of the direct beach access and a couple of miles away from the heavy traffic area of Galveston. We slept 4 adults and one teenager and there was plenty of room even though it is a smaller condo. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo. We are planning on staying there again in the future. Thanks for a great weekend!

Cozy, beautifully decorated beach condo

The condo was perfect for my husband and me. The comfortable furnishings and tasteful beach décor made for a very relaxing visit to Galveston. The clean, newly remodeled condo was very well thought out. The kitchen was well arranged and had everything we needed as far as cooking utensils, dishes and glassware. The balcony overlooked the beautiful pool and garden areas and also had a nice unobstructed view of the beach. Another plus was the wonderful memory foam mattress. Our hosts made our arrival easy and they kept in touch to make sure all our needs were met when we checked in. The condo is located in a very convenient location on Seawall Blvd. which made it easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores along the seawall.

Perfect! Just what we needed!

This trip was a last minute getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and our first time visiting Galveston. Everything was perfect. The description of the condo was spot on and Marina and Gary could not have been more accommodating. Since it was our first time to Galveston, I had asked Marina for some suggestions on seafood restaurants and “must see” destinations. She replied to my text request almost immediately with what turned out to be excellent recommendations. The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was obvious that very high quality workmanship was used during the renovations. We spent most of our days in the ocean and on the beach, but enjoyed the pool area almost every evening. We loved the fact that the condo was directly on the beach and we didn’t have to cross a busy street to get to the ocean. The seafood restaurants were plentiful and the quality of the food on the island was second to none. We hope to be back soon!

The Galveston island is about 27 miles long and 3 miles wide at its widest point. But despite its small size there are a lot of attractions for all ages.

You can start your day with fun at one of these places: Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Historic Pleasure Pier, Magic carpet golf , Go Kart and Fun center, a few golf courses, a Duck tour.

If you are interested in historic aspect of the island you may enjoy the following places: The Strand -the historic district of the island with its multiple restaurants and shops. Bishop Palace and Moody Mansion museum, also the East End Historic District with numerous Victorian era houses, Grand 1894 Opera House, Ashton Villa.

Don't forget about museums of the island , such as Lone Star Flight museum, a RailRoad museum, Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig and museum.

If you want to be close to the water, the Galveston island can offer you: a Dolphin watch, multiple fishing charters, Parasailing tours, Port Bolivar Ferry, 61st Street Fishing Pier, and of course miles of beaches....

And last but not least, Galveston gives you an opportunity to take a cruise to the Caribbean on Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise lines.
