This is a peaceful house and we expect our guests to treat our place as they would treat their own home. There are other people permanently living in the home so excessive noisy/rowdy behavior will not be tolerated should we get complaints.

About Lizy Li

I am an English teacher originally from China, I emigrated to the United States in the late 90's to continue my career in teaching. I married my husband six years ago and we have two wonderful children. We are all loving life in Saint Augustine!

My Husband and initially had the opportunity to work from home and from anywhere so we traveled all over Florida from Tarpon Springs to Naples on the Gulf Coast and from Fort Lauderdale to Jacksonville on the Atlantic Coast. The choice was very clear the moment we set foot in Saint Augustine, we came back weekend after weekend and fell in love with everything to do with this wonderful, historic town. Saint Augustine has everything. We bought this property as our primary residence but after two years we had our first child and soon after realized the house was not really set up to raise a small child due to the house layout and the quite low porch balusters. However, we loved the neighborhood so much we purchased another Victorian house in the next street. We recently renovated this ground floor apartment specifically for vacation rental, we love meeting and making new friends all year round.

Why Lizy Li chose Lincolnville

This house is in an historic residential neighborhood, peaceful and safe. Surrounded by beautiful Victorian era homes where just about all our neighbors are our friends.

It is within a few minutes walking distance to everything Downtown Saint Augustine has to offer. One of the most attractive things to my husband and I was the fact we don't have to drive anywhere except to the supermarket once a week. There is also something going on almost every weekend, festivals, art/craft shows and music everywhere.

ABSOLUTELY fantastic! Perfect location, lovely residence, & fabulous hosts!

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautifully decorated, and the location was ideal. I was able to walk to old town and many of the attractions or take one of the tour trolleys back and forth from the distillery just around the corner if I didn't feel like walking. Lizy & Ron were wonderful hosts, extremely responsive and willing to help, and the neighbor's cat, Oreo, even occasionally joined me on the porch for breakfast. I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay.

Cozy, Quiet & Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful little gem was spotless, exactly as described, and in a wonderful neighborhood. We had our coffee each morning on the front porch while listening to the birds and admiring all the lovely gardens in the area. It was a treat to return to this this "Charming" studio each day after sightseeing. Lizy and Ron are fantastic; very attentive to their guests, and are happy to share their knowledge of the area. The apartment is very close to the Ice Plant restaurant (go there, you won't be disappointed) and our favorite breakfast place, The Blue Hen. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in this charming little studio, and it was just exactly as it was described. We had hoped for a longer stay, but unfortunately our arrival was delayed by a day and a half because of a snowstorm at home in Upstate New York. We loved the house, and the neighborhood. Extremely quiet, yet within short walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. We ended up with just one full day to explore beautiful St. Augustine, but the location of this home allowed us to pack quite a bit into that short time. Because of our late arrival at 1:00am, we never had a chance to meet Lizy, but she left the lights on for us and we were able to walk right in - and after the delay in our arrival and the long drive from the airport, it was so nice to see that bottle of wine waiting for us! The neighborhood was clean, quiet, and safe, the neighbors we saw were friendly, and there was even a very sweet neighborhood cat who greeted us almost every time we sat on the porch. We loved it. If we ever have the chance to come back to St. Augustine, we'd choose to come back to this home. Thank you, Lizy!
