We are located practically next door to Saint Augustine's premier new restaurant "Preserved" we are also a two minute walk to the Ice Plant Restaurant and the Saint Augustine Distillery and walk for a few more minutes and you will arrive at the San Sebastian Winery both of which have free tours and tastings, the winery restaurant has live music at the weekends. We are close enough to everything we feel the entire town is our neighborhood.

If you plan to stay around the historic downtown are we are 10 minutes walk from almost anywhere. There is public transportation in the form of " The Sunshine Bus Company" and Pedi-Cab services. There is also a bicycle and scooter rental shop about five minutes walk.

This is a peaceful house and we expect our guests to treat our place as they would treat their own home. There are other people permanently living in the home so excessive noisy/rowdy behavior will not be tolerated should we get complaints.

This is also a non-smoking apartment although you may smoke outside on the porch if you wish as long as its kept free of cigarette butts etc. We also do not allow pets of any kind, sorry. Lastly, the floor is antique wood that has recently been refinished so please, we require all footwear to be removed before entering the apartment.

About Lizy Li

I am an English teacher originally from China, I emigrated to the United States in the late 90's to continue my career in teaching. I married my husband six years ago and we have two wonderful children. We are all loving life in Saint Augustine!

My Husband and initially had the opportunity to work from home and from anywhere so we traveled all over Florida from Tarpon Springs to Naples on the Gulf Coast and from Fort Lauderdale to Jacksonville on the Atlantic Coast. The choice was very clear the moment we set foot in Saint Augustine, we came back weekend after weekend and fell in love with everything to do with this wonderful, historic town. Saint Augustine has everything. We bought this property as our primary residence but after two years we had our first child and soon after realized the house was not really set up to raise a small child due to the house layout and the quite low porch balusters. However, we loved the neighborhood so much we purchased another Victorian house in the next street. We recently renovated this ground floor apartment specifically for vacation rental, we love meeting and making new friends all year round.

Why Lizy Li chose Lincolnville

This house is in an historic residential neighborhood, peaceful and safe. Surrounded by beautiful Victorian era homes where just about all our neighbors are our friends.

It is within a few minutes walking distance to everything Downtown Saint Augustine has to offer. One of the most attractive things to my husband and I was the fact we don't have to drive anywhere except to the supermarket once a week. There is also something going on almost every weekend, festivals, art/craft shows and music everywhere.

What makes this apartment unique

Right in Downtown Saint Augustine!

Charming quaint room in historic district

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at Lizzys quaint apt. for a three night getaway after visiting family in southern FL. The apartment had everything you need for a brief stay. There was a microwave and small fridge that housed our wine. We weren't in the room long and spent the majority of the time in downtown exploring. Lizzy and her husband came by to introduce themselves and provided information along with beach chairs. They both could not of been more accommodating. We will return soon. This apt. was perfect for two people. I wish a bit more storage for luggage, but what a beautiful place and a short walk to downtown and all that St. Augustine has to offer. We walked to dinner eveynight and returned home without an issue. Also, if you are looking for a world class Romantic dinner; go to Collage. Take it from a foodie, one of the best restaurants in FL. (Hands down). There is also a charming breakfast spot just around the corner. Thanks again Lizzy!!

Great people, lovely place

  • 5 of 5

Lizy and Ron are great. They live a block away from the property and are quick to respond to questions. The place is small, with little room to hide inside out of the summer heat, but if you need more space, there is a larger unit on the second floor. The porch seats 4 to 6 comfortably and has a ceiling fan and an awning to block afternoon sun.The house in a short walk to nearly everything in the old section, and barring weather issues, you could park your car and walk to everything but maybe the beach. We did walk from the house, across the Lions Bridge to the lighthouse and back, but we did drive to the beach. Would stay there again without a second thought and recommending it here.

Nice and clean

  • 4 of 5

Didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment but the bed was excellent and the space was clean. Only suggestion is placing water bottles in the fridge upon arrival and a somewhat larger TV. Overall very satisfied and will come back in the future.

Quaint, cozy and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

First the room is absolutely adorable. Perfect for a getaway. Second Lizy is an amazing host. Very easy to deal with. She made sure our stay was great. Third the location was perfect for us. It was within 10-15 mins walking distance of just about everything in St Augustine. My husband and I will definitely book here again when we’re in town.
