village du lac wallon, MI. connu par les habitants comme le pied. NichĂ© Ă  100 mĂštres du magnifique lac wallon au cƓur du village, oĂč le lever et les couchers de soleil sont parmi les plus apprĂ©ciĂ©s de tout le nord du Michigan. Le chalet vous permet d'obtenir
loin de la vie quotidienne occupée et profitez des chaudes journées d'été et de la fraßcheur
nuits dans le petit village convivial du lac wallon.
Le chalet offre un accĂšs public au lac et au quai Ă  moins d'une minute Ă  pied
oĂč vous pourrez profiter de l'eau et de belles CaraĂŻbes comme une plage de sable. Pour un frais facultatif de 300 $ par semaine, un bordereau de bateau est disponible pendant votre sĂ©jour

This cottage was perfect for our 6 week stay from end of July to beginning of September, 2025. Walking distance to restaurants, village market and lake. Close to Boyne and Petoskey. Many golf courses nearby. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Walloon cottage

Wonderful trip and stay! Very clean! Accurate listing, responsive kind owners right next store :) had fancy coffee machine, soft extra blankets , Apple TV and a pack and play! Perfect stay for my family with young kids!

Perfect little getaway!!

We booked this as a last minute weekend trip and it was the perfect base for our day trips around the Petoskey area. The house and property were adorable and so comfy. Check in and out were super easy, and the experience overall was fantastic.

Stayed here on a ski weekend with our adult kids.Adorable place! Well appointed, comfortable beds and close to dining . Loved the coffee maker! Communication with the owner was easy and with quick responses. Would certainly return!

Great Cottage

THE PERFECT LIL’ COTTAGE

What a beautiful cottage in a quaint, red-filled area a short walk to Walloon Lake. The fall colors were all around and the cozy, comfortable cottage was the perfect way to be welcomed home. Our host, Scott, was easy to communicate and has created a home away from home.

The perfect cottage!

We were having a family reunion and needed an extra cottage to hold our expanding family. This cottage was perfect because it’s so close to ours that family members could easily run between the two. Perfect size for six people. Well laid out floor plan and great outdoor space..spacious front porch and back patio. And sooo clean! We will definitely be renting this again!

Welcome to our Walloon Lake Cottage my name is Scott Hutchinson and I appreciate you taking the time to view our cottage. I've felt very privileged to consider Walloon my home as I spent the first 24 years of my life here in the village. Upon starting my own family with my wife and son and daughter I look forward to each visit full of memories, stories and good old family fun as we build upon the 3rd generation of our family!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Walloon has been an intricate part of my life as it's one of those places that is very rare and hard to explain to those who haven't experienced it first hand. The history of 6-7 generations in the village and around the lake are what make this one the most unique places int he world. Family and friends are brought together in a way that only can be experienced by spending a Summer here in the village and on the lake. As one that grew up in Walloon full time, I can say it was one of the best childhoods one could of ever had. Nostalgia sinks in just thinking about what Summer days are like whether your on the lake tubing/water skiing, the front porch reading a book and playing board games or feeling the Summer breeze while watching a perfect sunset. There isn't a moment that goes by where Walloon isn't on the forefront of my family's minds. When Summer ends the planning and count down to next years vacations sets in!
